AMC is yet to announced a premiere date for The Walking Dead Season 5 . But we know the highest-rated show on television will return with new episodes on October and now we also now that Rick Grimes will be a bloody mess on the premiere. That’s nothing new, of course, but AMC unveiled the following photo today. It’s a close-up of Andrew Lincoln’s character, keeping vigilant… and very badly in need of a shower. The Walking Dead – whose Season 4 finale in March brought in 15.7 million viewers, 10.2 million of whom were between the advertiser-friendly ages of 18 and 49 – is currently shooting in Georgia. Christian Serratos (Rosita), Alanna Masterson (Tara) and Andrew J. West (Gareth) have all been promoted to series regular status for Season 5 and former Wire star Seth Gilliam will be joining the cast as well. In need of a refresher prior to the October premiere? Lindsay Lohan has been working on a comeback now for longer than she ever had a career, so it’s safe to assume the actress was desperately hoping her self-titled reality series would win the public back to her side. Problem is, the public isn’t watching. Initial curiosity may have helped Lindsay’s ratings for its debut episode, but the show has seen a sharp, steady decline in viewership ever since. The show lost over 150,000 viewers (nearly a quarter of its audience) in its second week and not even the drama of Lindsay’s sex list could help her show ‘s third and fourth episodes, as even lower ratings are expected to be announced. Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson’s anti-gay comments drew the ire of many last year, but son Willie Robertson is quick to defend his father. Willie and his wife, Korie, sat down with CNN last week to talk about the controversial statements Phil Robertson made to GQ about modern immorality. Willie and Korie Robertson CNN Interview The 67-year-old Duck Commander founder had pondered in the magazine’s January issue how “a man’s anus” could be more desirable than a vagina. He also likened gay sex to a sin comparable to bestiality and paraphrased 1 Corinthians, which lists those who will not inherit the kingdom of God. “I believe what the Bible says,” Willie Robertson said. “That’s what he says to put those in. Candace Cameron-Bure wants her Facebook haters to know that she sees their comments and is not impressed with the vitriol regarding her religious beliefs. Having joined the Dancing with the Stars cast for Season 18, the former Full House star is back in the spotlight, and for her, this hasn’t been totally positive. “[L]ately, as my FB page has been growing rapidly with new ‘likes,’ it’s becoming a sensitive issue for me to post because of the dread in my heart,” she wrote. “Knowing I am going to get discouraging comments,” she says, makes it less fun to even post on her page, which has more than half a million Likes. “[A]ll I see is a bunch of religious people throwing around bible verses attacking each other,” she writes, with non-religious people then going after them for it.
