Lindsay Lohan to Extra: What About Me?!?

Lindsay Lohan is almost lost in the shuffle these days. With Charlie Sheen stealing all of her tabloid thunder, the train wreck and alleged jewel thief can’t even get any major PR for an interview on Extra. The troubled starlet admitted to the celebrity news program that she’s got a long way to go before reclaiming a spot atop the Hollywood food chain. Maybe Charlie can invite her to shack up with himself and the goddesses. Rachel Oberlin and Natalie Kenly certainly seem like welcoming people. Lindsay Lohan en route to court recently. [Photo: Pacific Coast News] Currently up on a felony theft charge in connection with a $2,500 necklace she’s accused of lifting, Lindsay says she feels “great” and “happy” these days. “There’s always bumps that we have in the road,” she said. “As long as I’m focusing [on my recovery], I’m doing good and that’s most important for me.” Not at grammar, but oh well. Lindsay, whose excuse in the jewel heist case may be corroborated by surveillance footage, just wants to get back to work. Asked if there’s any stars she’d like to work with, Lohan said she’s in no place to seek privileges like that right now, but these things will reappear in time. “I have to build myself back up and I get that,” she said, surprisingly maturely. The full interview airs tonight … unless Sheen does something crazier.

Matthew Rutler Mug Shot, Christina Aguilera Arrest Details: Released!

New details have emerged on Christina Aguilera’s recent arrest , and they don’t make the singer or boyfriend Matthew Rutler look very good. Sources tell TMZ that Christina and her man dined in a private room at posh Los Angeles restaurant Osteria Mozza until well past midnight. Deep into a couple bottles of wine, a fellow patron reportedly recognized Aguilera, asked the waiter to send her a drink and was told: “She’s already drinking a bottle of wine… or two.” Hilarious. Meanwhile, both Rutler and Aguilera have been released from jail. They are allegedly holing up in her Beverly Hills home. Pulled over by police for swerving on the road, Rutler blew a .09 on the breathalyzer, according to Radar Online. The legal limit in California is .08. He doesn’t look too broken up about it in the mug shove above, does he? As for Christina, L.A. County Sheriff Office spokesperson Steve Whitmore says Aguilera was a complete mess when she and Rutler were pulled over: “When she got out of the car, she couldn’t stand. We had to help her stand. She didn’t know where she was and she didn’t know her own address. We took her into custody for her own protection.”

Will Christina Aguilera And Jennifer Hudson Tour Together?

On Monday, Hudson took to Twitter to ask fans what they thought about a joint tour with Aguilera. By James Dinh Christina Aguilera Photo: Denise Truscello/ WireImage After Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson joined forces for the Aretha Franklin tribute at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards, it appears as if one of the big-voiced divas wouldn’t mind taking their collaboration on the road. On Monday, Hudson took to Twitter to ask fans what they thought about her co-headlining a tour with the blond bombshell. “I c alot of u guys want to see more of me n Christina together . What yal think about us touring together ?” Hudson tweeted . After revealing the star-studded concept, Jennifer admitted that it was just an idea she was brainstorming. A rep for Aguilera had no comment when MTV News reached out Tuesday (February 22). With Hudson’s I Remember Me hitting stores in exactly one month, a tour seems like a great way to bring her new music to fans. Hudson’s sophomore effort marks the songstress’ first musical offering since the tragic murder of her mother, brother and nephew in 2008. Aguilera, who is no stranger to joint tours after partnering up with Justin Timberlake for the Justified/Stripped outing in 2003, has already been confirmed to hit the road this year after postponing her summer tour last year. Even before the singer’s Bionic album was met with lackluster sales and mixed reviews, the powerhouse diva postponed her tour due to time constraints. In an open letter to fans, Christina wrote , “After reviewing the schedule with my team, I realized there was not enough time to put together and rehearse for a proper show, one that is at the caliber you expect from me or at the level I would present to my fans.” Would you like to see Christina and Jennifer tour together? Aretha Franklin Tribute Declared Best Grammy Performance By Readers

MTV News voters give props to Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson and more for their set. By Kyle Anderson Yolanda Adams, Martina McBride and Christina Aguilera perform during the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards Photo: Getty Images In the lead-up to the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, MTV News readers cast their votes for the performance they were most excited to see. The Aretha Franklin tribute , which featured Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Florence Welch, Martina McBride and Yolanda Adams, ended up taking home the bulk of the vote. Once Sunday’s show was over, we asked people to vote for their favorite performance of the night. Was it the triumphant return of Dr. Dre? The stage-owning performance by Justin Bieber? Or perhaps it was Arcade Fire’s eye-popping run to close out the show? But in the end, the tribute to Franklin stood supreme once again. The five-diva performance — which ran through some of Franklin’s biggest hits over the course of her five-decade career — picked up 39 percent of the total vote to take first place. “No doubt its xtina and the gang!” wrote commenter Sef. “No eggs or crazy gimmicks but still they entertained the crowd. They all sound amazing!” Of course, that comment was in reference to Lady Gaga’s egg-assisted run through “Born This Way” during the show’s first hour. That performance racked up 27 percent of the vote to finish in second place. The three-way combination of Justin Bieber, Usher and Jaden Smith was right behind Gaga with 22 percent. “Justin Bieber, Usher and Jaden Smith did an amazing job,” commenter BelieberForever96 wrote. “It was awesome. They should win.” Only Eminem, Dr. Dre and Rihanna’s performances of “Love the Way You Lie” and “I Need a Doctor” managed to put much of a dent in the voting beyond that point, as they picked up 6 percent despite some very vocal support in the comments section and on Facebook. Album of the Year winner Arcade Fire ‘s pair of songs earned only 1.5 percent, and Muse’s take on “Uprising” cobbled together 1 percent. And the least-voted-for performance award goes to Miranda Lambert, whose presentation of “The House That Built Me” did not ignite the voters’ enthusiasm. What was your favorite Grammy performance? Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson Top Grammy Performer Poll

Fans can’t wait for their Aretha Franklin tribute, with Lady Gaga and Eminem’s performances the next most anticipated. By Kyle Anderson Christina Aguilera Photo: Getty Images The 53rd annual Grammy Awards are almost here, and while the hardware tends to be the main event, the roster of performers is one of the most star-studded and high-profile in the show’s history. Eminem, Dr. Dre, Cee Lo Green, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Drake, Arcade Fire, Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Katy Perry, Muse, B.o.B, Usher, Bob Dylan and Bruno Mars are among the heavy hitters who will be taking the stage Sunday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. But which performance is creating the most buzz among fans tuning in to watch the show? Earlier this week, the MTV Newsroom blog posed just such a question, and the results are now in. As soon as voting began, the competition became a war of attrition between supporters of Lady Gaga and hard-core devotees of Eminem. But once the producers announced that there would be a tribute to Aretha Franklin led by Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson , the competition suddenly morphed into a three-way dance. After hundreds of thousands of votes were cast, the Aretha Franklin tribute (also featuring Florence Welch, Martina McBride and Yolanda Adams) finished in first place with 45 percent of the total vote. It’s a pretty impressive finish, especially considering that the performance wasn’t announced until after voting began. Lady Gaga ended up in second place with 23 percent, with Eminem just behind her with 20 percent. Perhaps fueled by the buzz over the release of “Never Say Never,” Justin Bieber made a late run and managed to cobble together 9 percent. Katy Perry was the only other Grammy performer to pick up more than a single percentage point, and poor Miranda Lambert ended up bringing up the rear. All of Sunday night’s Grammy performances promise to be electric, but fans can barely contain themselves for Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga and Eminem. Don’t miss “Snooki & Sway: Live From the Grammys,” a red-carpet live stream kicking off Sunday at 6 p.m. ET on MTV.com. And stick with us all Grammy night for coverage of the red carpet, the show, the afterparties and beyond! Related Photos 2011 Grammy Performers
