Britney Spears and boyfriend Charlie Ebersol are making their relationship work despite their busy schedules because they make each other better. So says the TV producer himself in a new interview. “We’re homebodies,” Ebersol, 32, tells People . “[It’s the thing] that I learned from my parents [longtime NBC executive Dick Ebersol and actress Susan Saint James], no matter how busy you are.” “As long as you’re centering back to home base and that’s the strongest magnet in your life,” he explained of his philosophy, “everything else is okay.” “Home base is the single most important thing.” Britney Spears and her latest love interest, who recently teamed up with First Lady Michelle Obama to advocate for veterans, began dating in the fall. “The best part of this relationship is when we spend time together ,” says Ebersol, who says one of their best date nights was a New Year’s Eve in. “We were getting pulled in a thousand different directions, and my favorite thing in the whole world – besides her – is hot chocolate,” he recalls. “She just said, ‘Let’s just get hot chocolate and hang out.'” “That was just the perfect night for me. If that’s the rest of my life, then A) I will have emulated my parents, and B) I will be a very happy man.” The pair have been spending more and more time together, from spending Christmas with her sons to celebrating each others’ birthdays together. For Ebersol’s 32nd birthday in December, Spears got her beau an adorable (not to mention extravagant!) cake and took him horseback riding. No wonder she supposedly wants to make babies with Charlie Ebersol ASAP. But in the more immediate term, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! “She out-gunned me so dramatically on my birthday cake!” Ebersol says of his new squeeze, joking: “Now I’ve got to gear up. I am very busy at work. “Now I have a second job, figuring out how to keep up with her!” While the pair remain private aside from the occasional social media post, Britney Spears’ new boyfriend says she’s had a profound impact on him. “Honestly, the way that she treats people does make you look in the mirror and question how much you’re really giving to other people,” Ebersol says. “Because she is a person who leads with her heart and treats people around her – who she knows and who she doesn’t know – better than you or I.” “So it drives me every morning to want to get up and be better.” “It motivates me.” Wow. Mob Wives Season 5 Episode 7 saw the ladies of Staten Island throw it down like never before after a summit to discuss social media slams went south. Things were getting thrown.” “People were jumping in … it was f–kng crazy.” It’s not over yet. The drama continues next week, as things spilled over into the parking lot, with the resolution to this bizarre incident far from clear. The Internet’s latest viral video craze comes from group of students performing a full choreographed dance to Mark Ronson’s hit song “Uptown Funk.” Ronson’s track, featuring Bruno Mars’ vocals, has risen to the top of the charts. Now these Texas high school kids are taking it to the top of YouTube trends! Texas High School Uptown Funk Video Students at A. Maceo Smith New Tech H.S. in Dallas, along with theater teacher Scot Pankey, organized and shot the video earlier this month. So far, the video posted to YouTube on January 24 has garnered over 6.5 million page views. Writes Pankey of the clip that’s sweeping the nation: “This is a great example of how a bunch of [technology] students let go of their fears, trusted their teacher and got down to Uptown Funk!!!” “I heard the song before Christmas and fell in love with it. We are a project-based school,” he adds, so he gave them this as their assignment! “You put them in teams, and they have to come up with solutions. They had three weeks to work on it, then present as a group what they learned.” The video was shot by a student, walking backwards through hallways and up and down stairs as his classmates did their awesome thing. Even more impressively, it was shot in a single take. Mars shared the video on Twitter with the caption, “I cried at the end. I’m still a thug though. Thank you to everyone involved in making this video.” Indeed.
