Jon Gosselin just took a very passive aggressive dig at his ex-wife. This isn’t exactly new, of course, considering all Jon and Kate have said about each other over the years. In this case, however, Jon used one of the former couple’s children to slam Kate where it likely hurts the most. For years, as loyal celebrity gossip fans likely know, the public did not see much of Collin Gosselin. The young teenager wasn’t even included in his own birthday party because, presumably, he was away at a facility that assisted children with special needs. We’re just quoting Kate herself for this diagnosis. “Collin has special needs,” the TLC star told People Magazine in August of 2016. She added at the time: “[There’s] a fairly fluid diagnosis of what those needs are, but he needs to learn certain strategies to help him deal with things. “This has been a struggle we’ve had for a very long time, and it’s one I’ve dealt with on my own. I’ve felt very alone in this. “By the same token, it’s not something that has only impacted me or him – our entire family has been impacted.” Fair enough certainly, right? We’ve written very little on this subject and simply been wishing Collin the best. HOWEVER, Jon now has custody of Collin . He filed for custody several weeks ago and was then rewarded with full-time temporary custody of the 14-year old after Kate did not show up at a court hearing. Having talked openly about having Collin to himself at home and having shared a few photos of himself and his son, Jon responded this week to a question about Collin. “I’d love to know if he actually has ‘special needs,’ or if he just didn’t deal [with] Kate’s BS like we all suspect. Either way, he’s home! And he looks happy,” wrote an Internet users to Jon, who responded as follows: He is not on any spectrum or special needs . That’s quite the statement, really. Why has Collin been away from his family for two years in this case? Is Jon legitimately arguing that Kate is simply full of it and that Collin wanted to get as far away from his mother as possible? AND that Kate lied all this time about her child’s state of mind? Those are pretty wild accusations. As you can see above, Jon spent Christmas with kids Collin and Hannah, the latter of whom has been living with her dad all year, yet who is still under the legal custody of her mother. The kids and their dad also hung out with Jon’s girlfriend, Colleen, and her children. Kate, for her part, did not release any holiday photos and has not commented on this ugly custody situation in a very long time. But she has defended her decision to send Collin away on multiple occasions. “It was not even a really a choice, it was on the advice of his doctors and it had to happen,” she said on a November 2016 episode of ABC’s Nightline, concluding back then: “He’s plodding along and we are too. This is the best thing I can do for him right now and that comforts me.”

Along with the above image of he and Miley Cyrus hugging on their wedding day, Hemsworth wrote “My Love” this week, along with a heart emoji. We told you it was short and simple. But also: very sweet, right? The singer and the actor, who started dating back in 2009 and broke up for a bit before rekindling their romance for good in 2014, surprised fans by finally exchanging vows on December 23 . Engagement chatter had surrounded this couple for many years, but neither Miley nor Liam confirmed their plans to actually tie the knot after all this time. Not until after it transpired, that is. Miley seems ecstatic,” a source told People Magazine, adding: “She loves her Tennessee home and was very happy about having the ceremony there.” But why did the celebrities get married now? What changed in their relationship? Perhaps nothing. Perhaps they just thought it was time to lock each other in for life. However, the rumor mill is churning excitedly with another possibility. One father went the extra mile(s) this Christmas , booking six different flights to spend the holiday with his daughter, who works as a flight attendant. Delta Airlines attendant Pierce Vaughan wasn’t able to take the day off for Christmas Eve or Christmas day, so her father Hal decided to join her. He used his accrued miles and points to spend the holidays with her in the sky as she completed her job for the rest of the Christmas travelers on board. Their absolutely adorable story went viral after one passenger shared it on Facebook , after sitting next to Hal on the plane and realizing exactly what was going on. “I had the pleasure of sitting next to Hal on my flight back home. His daughter Pierce was our flight attendant who had to work over Christmas,” Mike Levy wrote on his Facebook with a selfie of himself next to Hal. “Hal decided he would spend the holiday with her. So, he is flying on each of her flights today and tomorrow around the country to spend time with his daughter for Christmas. What a fantastic father! Wish you both a very Merry Christmas!” What a fantastic father, indeed. And as you could probably imagine, people on Twitter ran with this story and everyone agrees: this is the most wholesome thing ever. One Twitter user got emotional, mentioning the fact that her father–who passed away almost a decade ago–would have done something exactly like this.
