Landlord Says “Love & Hip Hop’s” Masika Skipped Out On $15K Rent (Exclusive)

Source: Jesse Grant / Getty “Love & Hip Hop” Star Embroiled In Dispute Over Back Rent An L.A. area landlord has accused reality star Masika Kalysha of being a rent dodger. That’s according to a new lawsuit from Emerson Vierra Reis, who is suing the “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star for skipping out on four month’s worth of rent payments on a three bedroom, two bath house in Woodland Hills, CA. According to the suit, Instagram star Masika – who shares a two-year-old with rapper Fetty Wap – signed a lease to rent the place back in December 2017. But last September, she stopped paying the rent entirely and eventually moved out after Christmas without settling the rent debt, the suit, which was obtained by BOSSIP, said. In total, Reis said Masika’s back rent topped out at $14,740. Source: Paul Archuleta / Getty Reis withheld Masika’s $4,750 security deposit but is suing for the balance, $9,999. Reis said Masika also allegedly trashed the place, and he said he had to spend an additional $3,285 to fix the damages, according to court papers. The landlord said he tried to reason with Masika before filing the suit, but she still refused to pay up. The property in question is nearly 2,000 square feet and boasts marble countertops, stainless steel appliances and his and hers sinks. Masika moved out after Christmas and the home later sold for almost $800,000, according to public records. Masika has posted glamorous pictures of herself on social media in the home. Masika never responded to the suit, and the case is scheduled to go to trial next week. We reached out to both Masika and the landlord for comment.

Broner unleashed a violent homophobic rant aimed at “I’m Delivert” social media personality, Andrew C. Caldwell. TMZ Sports reports : Adrien Broner is now threatening to attack — and even shoot — gay people in a vile new “PSA” video posted to his social media account Tuesday night. “If I got my gun on me, I’m shooting you in the f*cking face, and that’s on God and them. I’m not playing with none of these n****s. I don’t like gay sh*t.” It’s the latest in a bizarre exchange with social media star Andrew C. Caldwell — the famous “I’m Delivert” guy. Caldwell has accused Broner of flirting with him. Broner claims Caldwell is lying … and claims it’s Caldwell who’s been shooting his shot in Broner’s DMs. “[Andrew C. Mackenzie Standifer: Loving Life Without Ryan Edwards!

As previously reported on numerous occasions, Mackenzie Standifer has no plans to divorce Ryan Edwards. But it doesn’t sound as if she’s anxious for her law-breaking husband to return home, either. Edwards – who is Maci Bookout’s ex, the father of her son Bentley and a former Teen Mom cast member – is currently behind bars. He was arrested in December for larceny and also for heroin possession, marking at least the third time he has been apprehended by police on drug charges. Teen Mom OG alum was taken into custody in Hamilton County, Tennessee, on January 23 and charged with theft of services. According to police documents, Edwards allegedly walked out of a bar without paying his $36 bill in December — and the bartender called police. The bartender reportedly recognized Edwards from his previous mugshots, prompting his arrest. At the time, Edwards was also booked on a previous heroin possession charge stemming from an outstanding warrant. A few days later, the Red Bank County clerk’s office confirmed that Edwards appeared in court and that his case was continued until April 15… when Edwards will be brought back for judgment. Until then, he will continue to serve time in county prison. Now, back to Mackenzie… She seems “more relaxed with Ryan gone and not so much on edge,” an insider now tells Radar Online . This same source continues of Mackenzie: “She’s being more like her old self, where she is more down to earth and not in defense mode all the time.” That latter point does seem relevant these days. Standifer has clearly been annoyed of late by constant questions about her marriage, as most fans wonder why the heck she’s sticking by Ryan’s side. He wasn’t even around for her birth last fall, as Mackenzie welcomed the couple’s son, Jagger, with her husband checked into a rehab facility. “Are you and Ryan divorced?” a fan asked Standifer on social medi last last month, to which she replied with clear irritation: “Hell no!” Other reports have claimed that Mackenzie isn’t thrilled with Ryan’s behavior, but that she also believes in him, loves him and has never even contemplated a break-up. For now, she’s just focusing on her very young son, interacting often with Instagram followers and actually NOT being anti-social, which is a welcome change to her friends. Oh, and she’s also preparing to return to Teen Mom OG . So expect to hear plenty more from Mackenzie Standifer going forward! Louis Tomlinson is Simply "Inconsolable" Over Sister’s Death, Source Says

I know you’d want me to stay clean and stay creating so that’s what I’ll do until I come and look for you on the other side.Louis Tomlinson is in mourning at the moment. And, tragically, there doesn’t appear to be an end in sight. As previously reported, Louis Tomlinson lost his 18-year old sister this week. To the shock of the singer and to all those who knew her,  Félicité Tomlinson died on Wednesday at her apartment in London. She was only a teenager, and she showed no signs of being sick, but the model and social media influencer reportedly passed away from a heart attack. “Police are in the process of informing her next of kin,” a statement from the local police reads, adding: “At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained. A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.” According to In Touch Weekly, Tomlinson is “inconsolable” over his sister’s death. The siblings were especially close and Louis would always spend a lot of time with Félicité any time he was in London. Adding to the singer’s heartbreak? He and his loved ones also lost their mother just two years ago;  Johannah died of Leukemia at the young age of 42. Just a week ago, Tomlinson released a single dedicated to his mother. It was titled “Two of Us” and it included these lyrics: You’ll never know how much I miss you/The day that they took you, I wish it was me instead. But you once told me don’t give up /You can do it day by day/And diamonds they don’t turn to dust or fade away. In the wake of this tragedy, Hollywood has reached out to Tomlinson. Many celebrities have shared their sorrow and their thoughts on social media. Wrote James Corden, for instance: “Such incredibly sad news today. You’re not on your own in this @Louis_Tomlinson So many people are pulling for you and your family right now.” And Charlie Puth: “Prayers to Louis Tomlinson. I can’t imagine how hard it is right now. Love to you brother I’m so sorry and my prayers are with you.” Before her untimely death, Félicité was planning to publish a book of her own poetry. She was also in the process of developing a clothing line. Elsewhere, musician Lukey Storey has shared a lengthy tribute to Félicité online. “There aren’t words for how painful this is. I’m writing in a state of shock. She was one of the kindest, sweetest, purist people I’d ever met. A purity too rare for this world,” he wrote. Storey went on to touch on the subject of substance abuse, with sources saying Tomlinson had recently given up drinking and smoking. “I relapsed in my flat with only you there beside me, I saw in you what I carry too, I wish we had spent more time together sober, but we rarely were,” he wrote, concluding: Today I wish I was right there with you. It could of been me, or anyone in our circle of maniacs. I think it should of been me. Felicite You graced my life in such a short time and I will now miss you forever. I know you’d want me to stay clean and stay creating so that’s what I’ll do until I come and look for you on the other side. Crying as I write this I have never been confused by so many feelings and I can’t identify what most of them are. My thoughts are with her family, anyone and everyone who knew and loved her. None of this feels real.

Meghan Markle: Further Distancing Herself From Kate Middleton?

By now, we’re sure you’ve heard reports about the ongoing feud between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton . Kate and Meg have not addressed the rumors publicly because they’re both royals and grown-ass women, but the British tabloid press has been treating this thing like the Kennedy assassination combined with the Kim Kardashian sex tape. To be clear, we’re not saying the feud reports are completely fabricated. At one point, Kensington Palace issued a statement on the situation, and the virtually-unprecedented move serves as a pretty clear indication that there was some tension between the two at one point. But to be fair, Kate and Meghan find themselves in a position few us could fathom. Imagine if your in-laws were also your co-workers and all of your interactions were scrutinized by the global media. Now you’re getting an idea of the sort of pressure Meghan and Kate are under. Accounts vary with regard to how and when and why the feud began, but as far as we can tell, the duchesses’ relationship exists somewhere on the spectrum between best friends and mortal enemies. And that’s just fine. In the interest of ensuring the situation doesn’t get any worse, Kate and Meg have now decided to put some physical distance between them, and we think the arrangement will benefit everyone involved, particularly as Meghan’s due date approaches. Meghan and Harry have already moved to Frogmore Cottage , which will serve as their residence for the foreseeable future. Now, they’re taking things one step further by breaking up the “court” they shared with Kate and William at Kensington Palace. According to a new report from People magazine, Meghan and Harry will now perform their professional duties in a separate office located at Buckingham Palace. “This long-planned move will ensure that permanent support arrangements for The Duke and Duchess’s work are in place as they start their family and move to their official residence at Frogmore Cottage,” a statement from the palace reads. Naturally, the tabloids are favoring the hot-take approach to this story and portraying it as a calculated power move on Meghan’s part, an attempt to get closer to the Queen. But in all likelihood, she and Kate are both strong personalities who prefer their own space. Perhaps if they were men, they’d be applauded for their ambition. Little People, Big World Season 14 Preview: A Family Divided?

Changes are on the way for the Roloffs. Long-time followers of this beloved family are well aware of this, of course, simply based on recent social media posts and photos from Matt, Amy and company. But these changes are especially prominent in the trailer for Little People, Big World Season 14. Just released by TLC, the preview is notable for what it does depict and who it does not depict. On the latter front, Audrey and Jeremy are no longer full-time cast members. They may be seen in the background here and there during family gatherings, but the couple has walked away from the series. They stunned fans with this announcement last summer. As a result, Matt, Amy, Tori, Zach and even their adorable Jackson are the ones front and center for the show's new logo, which we wrote about HERE . In a press release sent out this week by the cable network, we learn that Season 14 will consist of 10 episodes and that tension between Matt and Amy will be at the center of these new installments. Here is a quote from this release: “At the heart of the season lies the fate of Roloff Farms, as Matt and Amy consider if it’s possible to continue running the property together, while their increasingly separate lives and relationships are driving them further apart.” We've written about this before. Matt has purchased a part-time home in Arizona with girlfriend Caryn Chandler, while both he and Amy have hinted that they time running the family farm could be coming to an end. The press release goes on to note that this will be “a season of self-discovery for everyone,” including Matt and Caryn, pondering “whether their future is in Oregon with the farm, or in Arizona, where they’re just purchased a home.” The trailer is definitely intriguing. It gives us a close look at Amy and her romance with Chris Marek, while also teasing a a health scare for Zach and far happier news for him and Tori welcome a new puppy. Might this couple also be facing financial problems, however?“ “I’m way in over my head,” Zach laments at one point. “This year, out of any of the other years, everything has changed for me,” Amy recently told People Magazine. “Chris makes me see life in a whole different way.” The new season of Little People, Big World premieres on April 2 on TLC at 9/8c. Khloe Kardashian: Tristan Cheating Won’t Ruin True’s Future!

Even though Khloe Kardashian has gotten hate for her baby photos , she’s not letting that stop her. Did you know that True Thompson is eleven months old? Khloe is showing off her baby to the world and, despite her baby daddy drama, expressing hope for her child’s future. Khloe shared three new, beautiful photos of her adorable baby daughter. In each image, True Thompson wears a red top, pink pants, and a cute pair of shades. She is seated on the sand at the beach and appears to be enjoying herself. Khloe captioned the precious pics with a healthy dose of optimism. “Future so bright,” Khloe writes. “She gotta wear shades!” On the one hand, this looks like it could just be a fairly weak pun about wearing sunglasses. (I’ve certainly made worse puns; no judgment here) At the same time, however, Khloe has seemed to harbor the idea that Tristan’s infidelity (and “worse,” her breakup with him) will harm her daughter’s future. It’s nice to see Khloe expressing positive expectations for her baby girl. Sometimes, when you’re feeling down yourself, you become overwhelmed with worries. Real talk: basically all of True’s relatives are millionaire celebrities. According to internet estimates, Tristan is worth $20 million. Khloe is worth twice that at $40 million. Those numbers only get higher with aunt Kim at $350 million and, of course, with aunt Kylie who is a billionaire . So there was never really much doubt about the relative brightness of True’s future. But Khloe had her concerns. See, Khloe’s parents divorced when she was about seven years old. They both loved her very much, but it seems that their split had a negative impact on her. (We don’t want to be dismissive of her feelings, but you could call it “daddy issues” — it’s not uncommon) What made this so painful for Khloe was that, for years, she had grown up with her parents together. In 2018, it was widely reported that Khloe was fearful of messing up True if she split from Tristan even though he was a no-good cheater. Obviously, a breakup when you’re a literal baby is not going to have the same emotional impact. What matters for a child is emotional support, love, and finances. (That, by the way, is why two-parent homes produce more successful children on average — they tend to have more time and more money) True is lucky in that she will never have to worry about any of those things in her life. Though reports say that Tristan Thompson isn’t interested in being a father right now, that could change in the future. Even if he never takes responsibility for the children he’s sired, True will always be loved. The only real worry about her future is when she gets old enough to google all of her dad’s cheating shenanigans. Sometimes, Khloe gets bombarded with hate because True is dressed a certain way or surrounded by expensive belongings. We hope that this doesn’t deter Khloe from sharing these photos. True is adorable and all of our social media timelines are better when we see adorable baby cheeks. Trolls should pick on adults if they absolutely have to cyberbully people. Wendy Williams Returns to Talk Show, Addresses Health Concerns

Wendy Williams is back… … and better than ever? That was the main topic the talk show host addressed this morning in her return to her self-titled program, following a two-month hiatus from her big purple chair. (Williams had been away due to ongoing health concerns … or due to embarrassment over her husband’s cheating scandal , depending on who you ask.) “Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect when I hit the block today,” Williams said at the top of her program before delving right into her medical woes. “What had happened was we were only supposed to be off two weeks for Christmas vacation. At the end of those weeks, I started to feel thyroid-ish. “They adjusted my meds. If you don’t know about thyroid disease, it’s a life long thing and they are always adjusting stuff. It can really screw you over.” Williams went on to explain that once doctors adjusted her medication, her Graves’ disease became a problem, as did her vertigo. “I can’t even tell you how many doctors I have, but I want to shout out each and everyone of you. Thank you so much,” she said, also giving props to her husband and adding: “We’re spending time as a family, the Hunters. You know, I’m Wendy Hunter. I just wanted to take some time for myself. I am my own best friend. You know that, I’ve told you that forever. “When you get into yourself, you are your own best friend. So I’m at home, I’m taking my thyroid meds, I am meditating. Oh, believe me you, I’m going to the gym seven days a week for two hours a day … “I’m sorry it took me 40 or 50 days. I know it’s been a long time. I’m sorry! I have to say, it’s not going to happen anymore and I feel good!” During her absence, friends such as Nick Cannon and Don Lemon took over a temporary hosts. On February 21, however, exactly two months after her last appearance, the show’s production company vowed that Williams was on her way back, saying in a statement: “Wendy Williams is an incredible talent with the most unique voice in daytime. We can’t wait to welcome her back to her iconic purple chair on the set of her show. “We so appreciate all of the guest hosts and panelists who filled in for Wendy during this time. These people are, and always will be, true family to the show.  “And we want to thank all of the loyal and supportive fans who have been with us for 10 years now.” Williams has battled these medical concerns for years. In March of last year, she told Good Morning America that she needed to take a break at the time because her body was simply a “mess,” adding in this interview: “We, as women, particularly if we have families, you know, we’re taking care of children, we’re taking care of our home, our husbands, we take care of everybody but ourselves. “I’m not doing that anymore, Amy. Khloe Kardashian Breaks Down Over "Trust" Issues in New KUWTK Promo

Khloe Kardashian really should have seen this coming. We mean no disrespect and we feel awful for Khloe that she's once again dealing with Tristan Thompson cheating on her … … but the latest trailer for Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 16 makes it evident that Khloe has been struggling with her relationship for months. Specifically, struggling with whether she can actually trust the unethical father of her daughter. Khloe says so herself in this preview. “It's really hard to regain trust,” Kardashian says early on in ths video, speaking to her siblings and adding: “Your one stupid weekend, you just demolish a relationship.” Now, remember: These episodes were filmed a very long time ago. So Khloe can't be talking about Thompson hooking up last week with Jordyn Woods . We're actually not sure precisely what Khloe is citing here, but it very likely goes all the way back to Thompson's first cheating scandal because Season 15 concluded with Khloe giving birth last April. And, tragically, this coincided with when she learned that Thompson totally sucks. Elsewhere in this revealing look ahead to Season 16: – Kim is in a car with Kanye West when she says: “It's a full-time job warding off the negative people. I'm not going to be nice.” – Kendall is referred to as “uptight” by Kourtney, while Jenner seems especially annoyed by… someone. “You did some not-cool things,” she says. “I just wanna be like alone.” – Elsewhere, while plenty on this series is very clearly scripted, the family will also be facing something over which they had no control whatsoever: the devastating effects of the Southern California wildfires. There's flames entering my property,” Kourtney says. This was a legitimate, scary, dangerous concern for thousands and thousands of California residents — and celebrities certainly weren't exempt from the pain. “Kim's house is on fire!” Khloe exclaims at one point in this preview, while Kris Jenner adds: “We're evacuating.” “This is like, unreal,” a tearful Khloe concludes, referencing the flames in this case, not the behavior of her really terrible boyfriend. Although… most people consider Thompson's actions to also be unreal.  Keeping Up with the Kardashians returns to E! on Sunday, March 31.
