The Rock Shows Off His Newborn Daughter The Rock and his lady are still basking in their new parental glow with the arrival of their baby girl, named Jasmine. The Rock clearly couldn’t be happier, and shared the first photo of his little pebble on Instagram with a lengthy message of excitement and joy on Sunday evening: Christmas came early! Within minutes of being born she was laying on daddy's chest. And being a grateful man takes on a whole new meaning… Thank you guys so much for the awesome congratulatory wishes and love you've been sending @laurenhashianofficial and myself. We're extremely grateful. Kinda crazy but in this cool and powerful skin to skin bonding moment with my newborn baby Jasmine, I had just one wish I asked the universe… Give me the strength to be a better man today than I was yesterday. If I can accomplish that, then I'd have a good shot at being a great father. To all you young men out there who will be fathers one day, the goal of “being better” will never steer you wrong. Trust me I've been down this road. Something else that'll never steer you wrong is “walking thru the fire” with your baby's mama. I was right there during labor, helping her breathe, every highly intense contraction, every second of pain, right there watching the actual birth, cutting the cord and wiping the tears. Incredible. *(Now don't get me wrong boys, it wasn't like I was at the end of the table, squatting like a catcher waiting for the fastball to come down the pike..

Karen Civil Teams Up With Lil Wayne To Give Back To Kids In Haiti For The Holidays

Media Maven Karen Civil Teams Up With Rapper Lil Wayne To Brighten The Holidays For 500 Students In Haiti Karen Civil brought seasons greetings to hundreds of deserving children in Haiti over the weekend. The Christmas celebration was a partnership with Live Civil and included sponsors Trukfit, Scholastic Corporation & L’union Suite. During the Live Civil Christmas Giveaway each child was gifted an outfit from Lil Wayne’s Trukfit clothing line and an exclusive Live Civil Thinking Cap from Karen Civil’s partnership with New Era. Haitian-American professional boxer Andre Berto also surprised the kids by dressing up as Santa Claus and passing out toys! Additionally, Scholastic Corporation, The United States’ largest children’s publishing company, donated a book to each of the 500 children, while Karen Civil did a live reading of her new book, Be You & Live Civil. “A lot of people tend to forget about those who are less fortunate during the holiday season, not many understand how receiving just one item could bring so much joy to a child’s life, especially if they don’t have the same everyday luxuries that the more fortunate tend to overlook. I’m just grateful to be able to give back to Haiti in any way possible,” said Lil Wayne. “The Live Civil initiative in Haiti is something that brings me joy! Being able to put a smile on the kids faces during the holidays is a gift within itself,” stated Karen. Through this event, the help of various notable hip hop celebrities and the Live Civil playground and middle school remodeling in Pétionville within Port-au-Prince, Karen Civil continues to emphasize the importance of literacy, education and fun! Like most of her family members, Kylie Jenner has a complex relationship with the paparazzi . She's been known to re-post paparazzi photos that she likes on her own Instagram page, but also turn nasty on occasion. We've also seen Kylie call a female paparazzo a “bitch” for staking out a fast food drive-thru (aka doing her job). A video uploaded to her Snapchat page over the weekend makes it clear that Kylie's disdain for overeager paps isn't limited to when she's feeling particularly  hangry  while waiting in line at In-N-Out. In fact, any time Kylie is out and about making purchases, folks who want to snap a photo of her should probably just play it safe and put the lens cap back on. “Why the f–k are you in the mall?” Kylie says to some lurking paps in the clip below.  “You have gone to a whole 'nother level of of me just not f–king with you, at all.” In fairness, it looks like she's not speaking loudly enough for the shutterbugs to hear her, but we're guessing she wouldn't hold back if they got any closer. In any event, we're definitely Team Kylie on this one: Snapping some pics as a celeb walks in or out of a store is one thing. Following them around as they shop is quite another. Of course, in a way, Kylie has no one to blame but herself. You don't go to the mall less than a week before Christmas and expect it to not be an obnoxious experience. Are we right?
