Lawd! Tennessee Couple Arrested For Killing Popular Pastor Via The Grio reports: The family of a Memphis pastor found dead Saturday may finally have justice. The Prospect Park Missionary Baptist Church pastor, Don Smith, was discovered dead near a pond at Hickory Hill. His car was also missing. Police spotted the car on Wednesday and pulled over Lashonda Williams, 24, and Roger Reed Jr., 23. Warrants for first-degree murder were issued for both of them. Memphis Pastor Don Smith was shot and killed Saturday — and his family still doesn’t have any answers. Smith’s body was found lying on Hickory Hill, beside a pond, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The family is still in shock. “All we know is right now he was murdered and we can’t find the person who did it,” said family member Raymond Jones. “We’re still trying to put pieces together of what actually happened…of what caused his death.” Smith, a pastor at Prospect Park Missionary Baptist Church in Whitehaven, spent all his time at the church or in the kitchen — warming souls with food and the Gospel. A wake will be held for Pastor Smith on Friday between 4 and 7 p.m., and the funeral will take place on November 8 at 11 a.m. at the Golden Gate Cathedral on Saturday. May God have mercy on their sick souls!

Seriously ??? California Candidate Says He’s No Longer A Neo-Nazi The former leader of a white supremacist church hopes voters can forget about his past and elect him to a town council in southern California. Via Raw Story reports: Richard Bunck is vying for a seat on the Apple Valley Town Council, where he hopes to reduce water rates and help balance the city’s budget. But a councilman from a neighboring town is reminding voters of Bunck’s past association with the neo-Nazi Christian Identity movement. “Getting a man like Richard Bunck elected, who is a known, practicing neo-Nazi will bring disgrace, dishonor and horrible publicity for the High Desert,” said Russ Blewett, a councilman in nearby Hesperia. Bunck dismisses the criticism, saying he left the organization after nine months about 40 years ago because he disagreed with its rhetoric and activities. “No. 1, I am not a hater,” said Bunck. “I don’t operate on hate. No. 2, I am not a white supremacist and never even considered myself that, ever.” Bunck inherited a church 10 years ago that was listed as part of the white supremacist Christian Identity movement by the Southern Poverty Law Center. Bunck claims that church is no longer active, but he does hold Bible studies at JHM Baptist Church – founded by and named after his mentor, American Nazi Party founder Rev. John Hale McGee. “My spiritual mentor was a friend for many years, but we often disagreed on political philosophy, as friends often do,” Bunck wrote in an op-ed published by the Hesperia Star. Bunck and his church have recently been buying up property in Rachel, Nevada, near the classified Area 51 military base, closing down businesses and evicting residents. He explained in the op-ed that he may possibly use the land to build a summer camp for underprivileged youth, although he did not offer any specific details. Bunck explained that he was asked to join a student organization – identified in media reports as the National Socialist White People’s Party – while attending the University of California, Irvine, in the early 1970s that he now wishes he had not. “The only way I’ve been able to learn is to jump into something,” Bunck said. He told the Hesperia Star that another member urged him to put his own race first in the social justice activism he engaged in at the time. “I was there not out of hatred but because I wasn’t ashamed of who I was,” he said. “No one should be.” You can’t be serious!!!!

This is truly a sad story… Toddler Drowns In Baptism Tank An Alabama mother is burying the baby boy she prayed for for years after a freak accident that took place insider her beloved church. Via MailOnline : A toddler died of accidental drowning after falling into in a tank of baptismal water in an Alabama church just two months shy of his second birthday. Brayden King was under the supervision of his 13-year-old sister when he fell into the large rectangular font last Friday at the Pentecostal House of Prayer in Decatur, about 75 miles north of Birmingham, said Morgan County Coroner Jeffrey Chunn. The little boy was found submerged in 33 inches of water and pronounced dead after unsuccessful attempts to revive him. The child’s mother, Kimberly King, who has two teenage daughters, had prayed to God for years for a son, the Huntsville Times newspaper quoted church pastor Bishop TD Strong as saying over the weekend. ‘Twenty-two months ago he gave her a son,’ Strong said, according to the newspaper. ‘And 22 months later he was taken away. I’ve been preaching 30 years and pastoring for 20 years, this is the first time in my ministry I’ve been speechless.’ Pastor Strong described the boy’s family as ‘devastated.’ The freak accident happened around 7.45pm Friday while Brayden was at the church with his older sister and mother. Strong said Kimberly King was preparing for a skit to be performed at a prayer meeting, and the sister was tasked with keeping an eye on the toddler. The teen lost track of the toddler for a short time. Little Brayden somehow climbed up two flights of stairs and opened a set of doors to reach the font behind the altar still filled with water from a Sunday baptism, Decatur Daily reported. When Mrs King realized her son was not with his sister, she went on a frantic search of the church building, which eventually led her to the baptism tank where her son was discovered unresponsive in water. Church members and emergency crews who were called to the scene were unable to resuscitate the child. ‘I’m just at a loss, because it is so close to home,’ Strong said. ‘People die every day. And I’ve done many funerals, but for a child to die in church, in the baptistery, it’s beyond ordinary and something that will never be forgotten by me.’ So tragic. Sunday night on Keeping Up With the Kardashians Season 9 Episode 18, Kourtney and Kim were abuzz over Khloe Kardashian’s “shady” behavior of late. She’s been hanging out with a rapper named French Montana – gasp – and even crazier than that, she hasn’t told her older sisters anything. Anything! Watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 9 Episode 18 Online Meanwhile, Khloe notices that Kris Jenner overwhelmed lately and has been neglecting some of her manager duties, showing up late and leaving early. It’s one thing to be a Momager who gets the job done and makes you filthy rich despite an utter lack of talent. It’s another to be one who sucks. Khloe is pretty steamed in particular about how, in a recent radio interview, she was asked questions about both French Montana and Lamar Odom . As Momager, Kris should’ve quashed that at the onset. Kim is also pissed at her mom for meddling with her assistant and finding out all of her wedding plans with Kanye, which were supposed to be top secret. The Momager also flips when Kim says she doesn’t bridal shower, and that’s the last straw for KIm, who vows to move in with Kourtney until she finds a new house. Kris, naturally, calls Kourtney’s house nonstop, voicing her disapproval. Later, they patch things up. Kris can still come to the wedding … just BUTT OUT! Later, Kim calls Khloe out on sneaking around with French Montana and her “friends” and giving her sisters the silent treatment, keeping them all in the dark. What the heck is she up to? 9 People Made Famous by the Kardashians 1. Jonathan Cheban Jonathan Cheban has been a publicist for years. But only by publicizing his friendship with the Kardashians has he become known. Several nights after that, Kim and Jonathan Cheban stake out a club they know Khloe will be going to because they want to catch the shady one in the act. With cameras. Staking out a club. Kim Kardashian. Sorry, but the scripted nature of what you see when you watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians online is full-on absurd sometimes. And it gets worse: They see Lamar Odom walking towards the club! When Khloe rolls up with French, Jonathan and Kim rush over to tell her the news. Cue shock and awe! Khloe doesn’t know what to do about this situation. Lamar ends up not coming inside the club, probably because he was filmed at different place or a different night we’re guessing which helps Khloe. Kim totally can sense that Khloe and French are dating and it makes her happy, while Khloe finds comfort in the fact that Kim totally had her back this whole time. Aww. And they all lived happily ever after in scripted, wealthy bliss that was all made possible by the Kim Kardashian sex tape all those years ago. Just saying. Westboro Baptist Church to Protest Robin Williams Funeral, Suck at Life

When Robin Williams died unexpectedly last week, the outpouring of emotion from the beloved actor’s millions of fans was unlike anything the Internet has seen in recent years. Robin Williams: His Most Memorable Roles 1. Mork (Mork & Mindy) The role that started it all. Robin Williams starred as an alien on the late 1970s sitcom Mork & Mindy. Horrible as it was to learn that the world had lost such a kind and gifted man, the near universal reverence for Williams made for a welcome silver lining. The flood of fond memories from admirers of all ages was a refreshing change from the bitter divisiveness that usually characterizes online comment boards.  So naturally, the folks at the Westboro Baptist Church took one look at all this genuine affection and figured out a way to make it all about hate. Yes, the horrible bigots who celebrated the death of Cory Monteith and encouraged his girlfriend Lea Michele to kill herself are up to their old tricks. The picket-happy fundamentalists announced over the weekend that they plan to protest Williams’ funeral as a result of his portrayal of a gay man in the 1996 film The Birdcage . Plans for Williams’ funeral have not yet been announced, but a recent message on  the WBC’s official Twitter page reads: “Westboro Baptist Church Hopes To Preach In Lawful Proximity To Robin Williams’ Funeral – To Warn The Living: Repent Or Likewise Perish.”  Fortunately, a non-profit organization called Planting Peace has decided to counteract the astonishing negativity of the WBC protest with a fund-raising campaign. Their efforts will benefit one of Robin’s favorite charities, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. So even in death, Robin is making life better for people in need.
