Madonna Is Ready For Some Football In ‘Luvin’ Teaser

Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. open 60-second ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ ‘ video preview, which premiered on ‘American Idol.’ By Adam Graham Madonna Photo: Theo Wargo/Getty Images Madonna definitely has football on her mind — not only for her upcoming performance at Sunday’s Super Bowl , but also in the video for her new single “Give Me All Your Luvin’.” A 60-second preview of the video, which premiered on Thursday’s (February 2) “American Idol,” opens with the track’s guest stars, M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj, dressed in cheerleader uniforms and spelling out “L-U-V Madonna! Y-O-U, you wanna?” Madonna then appears, kicking down the door of a suburban home, clad in a long rain coat, sunglasses and fingerless gloves, pushing a baby stroller. She turns onto the street where Nicki — who appears to have Adidas logos covering her breasts — and M.I.A. are waiting for her along with a team of cheerleaders. As Madonna prances down the street, a football player appears and barrels through a street-hazard marker in her way. A phalanx of football players then appear with umbrellas, shielding her from what looks like a storm of acid rain, and lay down their coats for her on the sidewalk as she struts in the slinky black outfit she had on underneath her coat. They’ll do anything to make sure her path is clear, even tearing apart a taxicab that’s in her way. She leans back and lets them lift her above their heads, and they prop her up against a wall that she appears to walk along sideways. The suburban football scenes are cut against flashes of Madonna, an oversize cross around her neck, performing and shaking her booty in front of a brick wall, lit by a spotlight. The video, for the first single from Madonna’s upcoming M.D.N.A., was directed by Megaforce , who has helmed videos for Kid Cudi, Two Door Cinema Club and more. The full video is scheduled to debut Friday at 9 a.m. ET on Madonna’s YouTube channel. What did you think of Madonna’s “Give Me All Your Luvin’ ” video teaser? Let us know in the comments! ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’: The Reviews Are In!

As Tom Cruise returns as superspy Ethan Hunt, critics roundly praise eye-popping action sequences and strong supporting cast. By Eric Ditzian Tom Cruise in “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” Photo: Paramount Pictures Anyone wondering if the “Mission: Impossible” franchise still has life in it after more than five years away from the cinema should do a simple critical comparison. “Mission: Impossible III,” which kicked off 2006’s summer movie season, notched a 70 percent approval rating, according to the Rotten Tomatoes review aggregator. “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,” by contrast, is currently hovering at 93 percent freshness as it goes into wide release on Wednesday (December 21), following a limited, IMAX-only debut. Tom Cruise, after the recent stumble of “Knight and Day,” is back as an action hero at the age of 49; his IMF superspy Ethan Hunt has possibly never looked better, according to some critics. Reviewers have gone on to praise the film’s eye-popping action sequences and the entertaining supporting cast. Read on for a deep dive into the “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” reviews. The Story “IMF has been disbanded by presidential order after being blamed for a terrorist bombing that destroys the Kremlin. So, do Ethan Hunt and the remaining members of his now-rogue spy team sit around worrying about their 401(k)s? Possibly they would in real life, but not in ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,’ a largely successful attempt to reboot the moribund franchise that turns out to be probably the most entertaining installment since Brian De Palma’s series opener from 15 years ago.” — Lou Lumenick, New York Post The Dubai Skyscraper Scene “This is a sequence so ingeniously conceived and shot that even the audience doesn’t want to look down — a sequence so death-defying that it gets you laughing at your own susceptibility (especially if, like me, you happen to have a fear of heights). Shimmying up and down and around the building’s surface, with the ground looking as if it must be a mile below, Cruise becomes a fearless human bug (think Spider-Man without the superpowers). Then, just as we’re sure that our hearts couldn’t dig any deeper into our throats, one of his gloves begins to short out and lose adhesive power.” — Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly The Supporting Cast “Simon Pegg, returning from his ‘M:I’ debut in the last film, provides a hugely welcome dose of lightness and comic relief as Benji, a meek British computer nerd who in this installment has finally managed to score a gig in the field. Paula Patton and Jeremy Renner, as new additions to Ethan’s team, hit their marks with professionalism and physical competence, with Renner in particular proving that he’s ready to assume the central role in the ‘M:I’ franchise if and when Mr. Cruise finally hangs up his carabineers.” — Ann Hornaday, The Washington Post The Dissenters ” ‘Ghost Protocol’ is a less a film than a vanity license plate writ large — a throwback to when all an action film needed was a bogus concept, chase scenes and a roman numeral in a title. … Its collection of stock elements — nuclear strikes, beautiful women, exotic locales, fast cars, megalomaniac bad guy — could have been ordered from a ‘when superpowers stalked the earth’ clearance sale catalog. Twenty-five years ago it would have starred Roger Moore.” — Duane Dudek, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel The Final Word “Should you see ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’? By all means, and in the big, big, biggest theater you can find. Don’t watch it on TV, and for God’s sake, don’t download it to your phone. I recommend the LG IMAX Theater in Sydney, Australia, which is eight stories high, but your local multiplex will do. Be prepared, afterward, to feel as if the outside world is just a little bit too small.” — Dan Kois, Slate Check out everything we’ve got on “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Shia LaBeouf Gets Ass Whomped in Vancouver Bar Brawl

It looks like there may be a Transformers 4 coming out at some point. It also looks like someone tried to transform Shia LaBeouf’s face outside a bar last week. The actor was pretty much demolished by a shirtless, hairy dude on a Vancouver sidewalk after being kicked out of a local drinking establishment. You’ll need to watch the video on TMZ to see the full extent of the fury this guy unleashed on Shia’s grill, but we’ll tell you right now, it was brutal. It’s unclear exactly what provoked the attack, but reports indicate that Shia originally got into it with the man inside a bar called Cinema Public House. After security kicked them both out, the man tore off his shirt and just wailed on Shia’s face for a good while. We’re talking almost Jenelle Evans style. Moments later, Shia tries to chase after the guy, but someone who appears to be his friend holds him back, telling him, “You gotta lay low right now!” No members of the bar staff noticed the fight, they say, but Shia has been a regular since he’s been in Vancouver to shoot The Company You Keep . We feel bad for LaBeouf, because no one deserves that, but he sort of has a history of instigating stuff like this and being a tool, so … feelings are mixed.

My name is Florencia, I’m an Argentinian Belieber and…

My name is Florencia, I’m an Argentinian Belieber and I’ve had TWO Bieber Experiences. Firstly, I want to start telling you when I saw Justin Bieber for the first time. I remember it was the summer  of 2007. There was a family meeting at home and all my cousins were with me. Then at 2am, when everybody else in my family was sleeping, I started chatting with one of my cousins. We were bored, so she told me, “Let’s watch some videos. I got good ones to show you,” of course I was like, “Ok, whatever.” She sent me many links, when, finally she texted me, “You must see this vid!” I clicked on the link and there was Justin, a 12 year old cute guy, singing with his heart and soul. I instantly fell in love with him, his voice, his hair, his eyes, his talent.  F rom that day on, I’ve had Bieber Fever.  My first Bieber Experience happened in 2009. I created my Twitter account and it was totally dedicated to Justin. I didn’t give up, I sent Justin as many tweets as I could but nothing happened .  Then, THIS year, on March 15th, I went to the cinema with my Belieber-Friends to see, “Never Say Never 3D” for the SECOND time in a month. Before the movie started, I tweeted something silly to Justin, I knew he was “not going to notice me this time either” But, surprisingly, when I got home, I found out that I had like 200 more followers! I checked out my profile and, JUSTIN WAS FOLLOWING ME! I freaked out, cried, jumped and felt my heart go knock-knock!    My next Bieber Experience, happened on October 12th, 2011.  The tour dates were already in BieberFever.com, and as I was a member of the page, I got pre-sale tickets, row 22, VIP Platinum.  I was so happy my dream was going to come true!   I’ve waited many months.  I woke up, took a bath, got my hair and make-up done, dressed up in purple and prepared the posters for JB.  At almost 4:00 in the afternoon, my mom drove my sister and I to the River Plate Stadium. I felt butterflies in my stomach!  We arrived to our section and we were now seating.  Suddenly, the countdown started, I shouted like I never did before!  T he concert was AMAZING and it was the BEST DAY of my life! I truly had an INCREDIBLE time there!  Justin was singing “U Smile”, when a security guard came up to me and two more girls.   We were so excited that we asked him if we could meet Justin and he said, “Yeah. Meet me at the VIP Platinum entrance when the concert finishes”   WE FREAKED OUT.  T he show ended and we went straight to the VIP Platinum entrance.  We waited for the guard, but he NEVER showed up! We felt so disappointed and devastated!   We decided to walk out of the stadium but we were kinda lost, because there were LOADS of Beliebers, and we couldn’t see our parents!  We stepped into the parking zone. The Bieber truck’s was there!  Anyways, I was NOT paying attention because behind the guard, there was a huge window, and from that window you could see the BACKSTAGE area!  I walked a little bit closer to the policeman and right behind him, there was Kenny, DJ Tay James, and Justin!   We four started shouting crazily, “I LOVE YOU JUSTIN!”. He noticed, turned around and looked straight at us, we screamed even louder, and he smiled.  Right after that, Justin left and even though we couldn’t take a picture with him, it was the BEST DAY OF MY LIFE! -@florste19    Original post: My name is Florencia, I’m an Argentinian Belieber and…

Shia LaBeouf Feels ‘Vindication’ After ‘Transformers 3’ Success

‘I feel vindicated for having guilt on my shoulders for the second movie,’ he tells MTV News of blockbuster ‘Dark of the Moon.’ By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Shia LaBeouf at the New York premiere of “Transformers: Dark Of The Moon” on June 28, 2011 Photo: Jamie McCarthy/ WireImage In the run up to the release of “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” Shia LaBeouf was adamant about two things: the second chapter of his alien robot franchise honestly wasn’t very good at all and the newest sequel would blow everyone away. “It is the best movie we’ve made, I’m serious,” LaBeouf told MTV News in June. “It’s not a joke. I’m dead honest, man. I get myself in trouble all the time, but this is our best installment.” He’s probably right. “Dark of the Moon” is the top-grossing film in the series ($1.1 billion) and received an “A” CinemaScore from audiences, according to Paramount. Having announced that the third “Transformers” film will be his last, LaBeouf recently told us that he’s leaving the franchise on a high note. “For me, I feel vindicated for having guilt on my shoulders for the second movie,” he said. “There is vindication in this one being successful and people enjoying it.” Since finishing up the international press tour for “Dark of the Moon,” LaBeouf has been collaborating on a music video with Marilyn Manson and doing postproduction work on John Hillcoat’s “The Wettest County in the World,” a drama about Prohibition-era bootleggers. “That’s probably the biggest, coolest opportunity I’ve been allotted so far,” LaBeouf said of Hillcoat’s follow-up to “The Road.” “It’s the most colorful character I’ve been able to play, the most depth I’ve been able to show as an actor.” At the same time, the actor has been prepping for work on “The Company You Keep,” a political thriller that Robert Redford will direct and star in. “I’ve been in Redford’s office doing read-throughs,” LaBeouf said. “He’s very efficient with his time. He’s a master at juggling his time and his attention span. When his attention span is focused in your direction, he’s laser-beam focused. He knows exactly what he wants. He’s very specific. He’s hilarious and fun and vibrant and everything you’d want in a director. I’m very excited to see a man direct himself. I’ve never seen that happen on a set. I know how intense and tough that’s going to be. I’m showing up more as an audience member.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Transformers: Dark of the Moon.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . ‘Harold & Kumar’ Stars Promise ‘Enhanced Nudity’ In ‘3D Christmas’

‘The movie is in 3-D because the ‘Jersey Shore’ is in 3-D,’ Kal Penn jokes to MTV News in our Fall Movie Preview. By Eric Ditzian Kal Penn and John Cho in “A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas” Photo: New Line Cinema Last summer, MTV News got a very special, very twisted look at ” A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas ,” the third installment of Kal Penn and John Cho’s herbaceous buddy-comedy franchise, when we popped by the Detroit set. We can’t yet show you much of what we saw that day, but as part of our Fall Movie Preview, we’re rolling out a tasty nugget of our interview with Penn and Cho. In between cracking jokes about ’80s comedies, MTV programming and potential celebrity cameos, the duo let us know what we can expect when the new film, which focuses on the two estranged friends reuniting during the holidays, hits theaters November 4. Click for exclusive photos from Fall’s biggest flicks. MTV : So why is this movie in 3-D? Kal Penn : The movie is in 3-D because the “Jersey Shore” is in 3-D. John Cho : “Avatar” was in 3-D. I’m not in competition with “Avatar.” I’m not in competition with James Cameron. He does his thing. We do our thing. He makes cartoons. I understand he had a good year. I’m just saying, the technology isn’t his. Penn : I’m just psyched because “Goonies” was in 3-D and that’s why this is in 3-D. You’ve never seen “Goonies.” Cho : I’ve never seen “Goonies.” Penn : That is so crazy to me! That’s so nuts to me, dude. It’s egregious that you haven’t watched “Goonies.” MTV : Can we expect 3-D nakedness? Penn : Listen, you’re going to see some 3-Deeez nuts. [ Sings to the tune of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s “Deez Nuuuts” ] Cho : There’s enhanced nudity. Penn : Very ma ture, the way you’re saying that. Enhanced nudity. This is not the NPR interview; this is MTV. They just got done watching Snooki get arrested. You do not have to say anything other than “3-D nuts.” MTV : Have you had time to enjoy Detroit? Cho : I’ve been buying cars. I’ve got a lot of cash, and I’m spending it on automobiles. Lots of ’97 Pontiac Firebirds. Lot of Ford Tauruses. Penn : I like shooting in Detroit. If you have not been to Detroit, you should come. People are super friendly. There are a lot of beautiful buildings, and sadly many of them are abandoned. Hopefully the city bounces back. Look at our first film: I loved shooting in Toronto, but it was still a bummer that we had to leave the United States to shoot a quintessential American road-trip comedy. Cho : Also, Toronto had so many foreigners. Penn : We were the foreigners. Toronto is in a different country. Cho : No, we’re Americans. MTV : Why have Harold and Kumar grown apart? Cho : They’re at different times in their lives. Kumar is looking for a way to stay in his younger existence, and Harold is artificially trying to be more mature and is choosing an excessively old mature friend. MTV : What can we expect in terms of romance? Penn : When the last film left off, Kumar and Vanessa were obviously very much together. Over the next six years, Vanessa moved into Kumar’s apartment. They continued their relationship. It was moving down the road toward marriage. And then Kumar lost his job. He couldn’t stop smoking weed. It wasn’t as much the weed as him completely latching on to still being frivolous and still being down for whatever and not taking Vanessa seriously and taking her for granted. So slowly after he lost Harold to Maria, he kind of grew resentful of the notion that if his best friend could go off and choose this woman over him, then maybe everyone was just out to get him. He drifted further apart from Vanessa. That’s where we pick up now. MTV : Besides Neil Patrick Harris, what celebrity cameos are in the works? Penn : Patton Oswalt, Tom Lennon, Paula Abdul, Snooki and Mayor Koch. From “Abduction” to “Muppets, “Moneyball” to “Breaking Dawn,” the MTV Movies team is delving into the hottest upcoming flicks in our 2011 Fall Movie Preview. Check back daily for exclusive clips, photos and interviews with the films’ biggest stars. First I just wanted to say thanks, Vanessa! Reading these posts…

First I just wanted to say thanks, Vanessa! Reading these posts always makes me smile. But anyways my name is Kelly, and this is my  Bieber Experience .I first heard Justin’s ‘One Time’ with my friends in the fall of 2009. I was addicted to his music right away. And when I found out more about him as a person I was crazy about him too. It all started when Matty from Kiss 108’s morning show announced the line up for Jingle Ball 2009, MA. He announced that the new teen heart throb Justin Bieber would be attending. The day the tickets went on sale me and my friend rushed home from school and clicked refresh millions of times. We were able to get tickets! The day of the show came and when we got inside a man handed us a brouchure saying there would be meet and greets. So we ran around like crazy looking for the booth. We found it but it was completely mobbed. It got so bad that they had to shut down. We were so mad. So we waited around for them to re-open and when they did, to our disapointment, Justin was sold out. Instead we met Jordin Sparks which was cool, but she’s no Justin. Our seats for the show weren’t amazing; but it was exciting to see Justin in concert for the first time.My opportunity came when Justin announced the second leg of the My World tour. He would be coming to Boston! I also saw a VIP package that they were offering. It was expensive, but you got front floor section seats, passes into the sound-check and pre-party/dinner, a signed photo book, and lots of merchandise. I was totally excited but knew that they were way too expensive and my parents said there was no chance. But by some miracle, lots of luck, and thanks to the help of my aunt, we got tickets. ROW THREE SEATS. The Boston Garden, November 16, 2010. I couldn’t believe it. Now I just had to wait.Fast forward to November 16th. Time flew and I couldn’t believe that today was the day. When we got to the venue we joined the line to wait to get in. Once we checked in we got our VIP wristbands, and lanyards. We then waited for the sound check that was to start at 4. While waiting we met some really nice fans, and became friends with a few other groups. Then they finally shuffled us randomly into the first few rows of the arena. We were in the second row right in the middle. The whole crew was on stage. The dancers put on a little show for us and @thatrygood intorduced us to everybody. Then after a little bit of hanging out with them; Justin came out looking fine as always.  He was so nice and very chill. And as I always thought; he was completely down to earth. I couldn’t believe it, he was standing just a few feet infront of me, just talking to us. Being with him didn’t make me scream or cry, it just made me smile. After about a 1/2 an hour of hanging out with him, we were brought to the reception, so Justin could get ready for the sold out show. My friend Courtney (that I met there) and I ate a little, but mostly just talked about how cool everything was. We couldn’t resist going to talk to DAN KANTER! We walked over to him and asked for a picture, he said “Sure guys! Thanks for asking!”. Then we talked to him for a few minutes about how Justin always steals his hats on stage. He was hilarious. This was all before anyone else realized he was there (we left when he got mobbed). And finally we met Legaci, Justin’s backup singers. It was all so surreal and the concert hadn’t even started yet! When we got put into our seats we could not believe how close we were. All the opening acts came out and they were great. About twenty minutes before Justin was going to come on the first three rows were given wristbands that allowed us to go up to the railing. I went up to the middle early, and waited there. When the concert started I couldn’t believe that Justin Bieber was right above me. He would look right down at us with his  gorgeous  golden brown eyes, only a reach away. But during Eenie Meenie he sang to me for about half of the song. It was so long that my aunt, standing a few feet behind me, noticed and took a picture. Even one time I looked up to find  him  looking at  me.  It’s amazing all he did to make us smile, He would make eye contact with one of us and we would smile, before he walked away he would laugh and smile back. And lastly, I even got on the big screen! It was unbelievable. That night was probably the best night of my life. I never expected it to be so perfect. I hope to one day meet Justin, but I’m very grateful for the opportunities I’ve had. Thank you so much Justin, for a night to remember. And thank you to my Aunt (and family) for making it all possible, I’m very thankful.I was told that night couldn’t happen, but I dreamed big.Every Belieber deserves their night, so don’t give up. Oh and one more thing, NEVER SAY NEVER! -@kellyyb95 See the original post: First I just wanted to say thanks, Vanessa!
