Brooke Mueller and Dave Navarro: New Couple Alert!

Let’s hope Charlie Sheen isn’t reading this post. It might be enough to drive him to drink! On Wednesday night, the actor’s ex-wife didn’t merely dine with Jane Addiction’s frontman Dave Navarro, she was spotted swapping significant spit with the former Carmen Electra lover! As first reported by TMZ, witnesses spotted Navarro and Brooke Mueller at Nobu. When the former went outside to smoke, he was soon joined by the latter – and a “full on make out” commenced, sources confirm. The two came back inside, gathered their belongings and left together. We’re guessing a full on more-than-make-out session followed from there.

Staged Teen Mom Drama: Gary Shirley, Clinton Yunker Pretend to Argue at Buffalo Wild Wings

Is MTV’s Teen Mom making like The Hills and playing up the drama for the cameras? Even staging it altogether? This new clip would strongly suggest so. Amber Portwood’s ex, Gary Shirley , got into an “argument” at Buffalo Wild Wings in Anderson, Ind., and wouldn’t you know it, the cameras were there. As we reported yesterday, Amber broke up with Clinton Yunker , her latest boyfriend, this week. As he celebrated his single status, Gary walked in … Gary Shirley-Clinton Yunker Argument The video above, in which Gary argues with Clint’s brother, shows him inciting other people in the restaurant and threatening to make them “famous.” Gary seems to know exactly what’s going on, making you wonder if the whole thing is a setup to make money – and what other scenes that applies to. Amber Portwood has told police the violence was “real” and that her beatings of Gary were not encouraged by the network, but we’re a bit suspect.

Amber Portwood & Clinton Yunker in a "Mature Relationship," Mom Totally Swears

Amber Portwood’s new boyfriend, Clinton Yunker , is perfect for her. That’s according to his mom, who is speaking out to the press for some reason, and says that the couple’s relationship is “mature.” Well, we’re sold! Maybe we should be more open-minded. Pre-Clinton, the Teen Mom star and Gary Shirley set the bar VERY low. Anyway, Judith Reagan explains: YUNK IN THE TRUNK : Clint just made our celebrity mug shots album! “I am pleased Clinton is in a mature relationship with Amber. It has been very difficult for us all since there have been so many negative articles.” “It is his life and he can date who he chooses but the relationship has caused an unexpected situation being in the public eye,” says Yunk’s mama. “I haven’t spent enough time with her to know if it is meant to be.” Amber Portwood and Shirley share custody of Leah, who just turned two. As for Clinton Yunker’s OWN love child, which he fathered as a teenager? “I had hoped things had worked out with the mother of his child but he would have to make a lot of changes in his relationship and life for that.” “Clinton’s first baby was not a secret. They made a tough decision to put the baby up for adoption and they did and we were proud of them.” “The baby was not a secret love child .” Well, that’s good … relatively speaking. We just hope the girl finds something – anything – to keep her a more stable, for her sake and Leah’s. If not, the poor little girl will likely grow up with a whole host of issues … and Gary Shirley’s girlfriend will keep paying the price physically.

DJs Drama, Ill Will, Rockstar, More Make Our Top DJs Of 2010

It was a great year for street albums, and Mixtape Daily salutes the street kings. By Jayson Rodriguez, with additional reporting by Hillary Crosley, Rahman Dukes, Steven Roberts and Richard Sancho DJ Drama, DJ Holiday and DJ Scream Photo: Getty Images/ MTV News The mixtape game took a shot to the heart a few years ago when DJ Drama’s office was raided by the feds. Artists increasingly opted to make mixtapes that were essentially albums, projects produced without help from DJs and comprised mostly of original material. But slowly Gangsta Grillz began populating blogs, the same way they used to populate the streets, and those sites served as the new Burkinas. In the last 12 months, the mixtape circuit has never been healthier — just look at Dram still putting out his trademark rap heat and getting his slow jam on, pushing collections by the likes of Chris Brown, among other R&B stars. DJ Teknikz helped Travis Porter ink a deal with Jive Records. And Bigga Rankin scored an exec position with Young Jeezy’s CTE. Then there’s DJ Holiday and DJ Scream: both spin doctors break acts like Bo Jackson snapped bats. Meanwhile, DJ Ill Will and DJ Rockstar have become nearly ubiquitous with their onslaught of street albums. Pay attention, as the Mixtape Daily team continues our year-end awards by saluting the Top DJs of 2010. Wax King: Bigga Rankin Bordering Blocks : Atlanta Street Credentials :

The Nation: Ron Paul’s Fight For Transparency

The Obama administration condemns WikiLeaks in the most extreme terms, with White House spokesman Robert Gibbs referring to the people involved in the leaking and distribution of diplomatic cables as “criminals,” and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton describing the latest WikiLeaks revelations as an ” attack on America's foreign policy interests.” Attorney General Eric Holder talks of using the Espionage Act and other tools to go after WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. Democrats in Congress echo the criticisms — with Senate Foreign Relations Committee chair John Kerry ripping Assange for having done “real damage” to U.S. interests — or simply remain silent. Some are openly working with neoconservative Republicans to come up with new laws to restrict the flow of information about U.S. foreign policy, Is anyone in official Washington standing up for transparency? Is anyone saying that we should be more concerned about the revelations of wrongdoing than killing the messenger? Yes, if you count Texas Congressman Ron Paul as a resident of official Washington. The Texas Republican who has long been the sternest critic in Congress of the imperial ambitions of presidents of both parties, rejects the notion that WikiLeaks is the problem. “Rather than worry about the disclosure of embarrassing secrets we should focus on our delusional foreign policy,” argues Paul, who has run for the presidency as both the Libetarian nominee and a Republican primary candidate. “We are kidding ourselves when we believe spying, intrigue and outright military intervention can maintain our international status as a superpower while our domestic economy crumbles in an orgy of debt and monetary debasement.” Continued at: http://www.npr.org/2010/12/13/132021734/the-nation-ron-paul-s-stand-for-transpar… added by: Dagum

CNN Breaking News: Richard Holbrooke, U.S. Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Has Died

Richard Holbrooke, U.S. Special Rep. for Afghanistan and Pakistan, has died, a senior administration official confirms. Holbrooke dies days after heart surgery From Jill Dougherty and Elise Labott, CNN December 13, 2010 7:47 p.m. EST U.S. diplomat Richard Holbrooke is “a towering figure in American foreign policy,” President Barack Obama says. Washington (CNN) — U.S. diplomat Richard Holbrooke has died, a senior administration official told CNN Monday evening. Holbrooke had undergone surgery in the past three days to repair a tear in his aorta, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Monday. “He had a very serious medical emergency on Friday,” Clinton said at a news conference in Quebec, Canada, with foreign ministers from Canada and Mexico. “He has received excellent care including many hours of surgery in the last three days. He is stable but still in very critical condition.” Earlier, a State Department official said Holbrooke was “absolutely fighting in an unbelievable way.” Holbrooke remains unconscious after an additional procedure to aid circulation following the initial surgery on his aorta, the main artery of the body, the State Department said. At a holiday reception for U.S. diplomats later Monday, President Barack Obama praised Holbrooke as “simply one of the giants of American foreign policy” who has served the nation “with distinction for nearly 50 years,” including his work in negotiating the 1995 Dayton Accords that ended the Bosnian war in the former Yugoslavia. “As anyone who has ever worked with him knows — or had the clear disadvantage of negotiating across the table from him — Richard is relentless,” Obama said. “He never stops. He never quits. Because he's always believed that if we stay focused, if we act on our mutual interests, that progress is possible. Wars can end. Peace can be forged.” Holbrooke in critical condition The president said he and his family were praying for Holbrooke's recovery, “and I know that everyone here joins me when I say that America is more secure — and the world is a safer place — because of” his work. “And he is a tough son of a gun, so we are confident that, as hard as this is, that he is going to be putting up a tremendous fight,” Obama said. Holbrooke, the special U.S. representative on Afghanistan and Pakistan, is getting “fantastic care” at George Washington University Hospital, the State Department official said. It is the same hospital where Ronald Reagan was taken after being shot in 1981. Holbrooke was taken there Friday after feeling ill at the State Department. Clinton expressed appreciation for what she called an outpouring of concern and support from “presidents, prime ministers, foreign ministers” who have called the State Department since news of Holbrooke's illness broke. His surgeon continues to meet with the family to gives frequent updates, and Holbrooke “is receiving great support from a broad and growing community of family and friends,” the State Department official said. “It's remarkable how many messages of support (his wife, Kati Marton) and the family keep receiving from all corners: foreign ministers and ambassadors from around the world, President (Bill) Clinton, senators and congressmen, colleagues from this Af/Pak job, from Vietnam, from the Balkans, from the U.N., from the private sector,” the official said. Clinton and Joint Chiefs Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen have visited the hospital numerous times, according to the State Department source, who said: “They've each come three times, informally chatting with family members, friends and staffers, and really helping to buoy the assembled.” The State Department also said Afghan President Hamid Karzai and Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari called Holbrooke's wife Sunday morning. Zardari told CNN's Reza Sayah that Holbrooke is a “fighter.” He said he told Holbrooke's wife to be “brave.” “I'm sure he will fight for his life, and he will come out of it,” Zardari said. Asked to reflect on Holbrooke's impact on the Pakistani region, Zardari called him an “extremely hard-working man” who can “get things done which would otherwise take weeks to get through.” http://www.cnn.com/2010/US/12/13/holbrooke.illness/index.html?hpt=T1&iref=BN… added by: EthicalVegan
