Couple Who Stole Asiana Flight Crash Luggage Get Jail Time Remember these two rascals??? Via NY Daily News: A married couple working for United Airlines have been given jail sentences of less than a year for stealing luggage from San Francisco International Airport during the chaos of last year’s Asiana Airlines crash. Surveillance footage shows Sean Sharif Crudup, 44, walking into an empty luggage office July 6, 2013, as emergency crews and staff were distracted by the wrecked aircraft that killed three. He steals a piece of unattended luggage and hands it over to his wife, Raychas Elizabeth Thomas, 32, the video shows. The pair – both customer service representatives with the airline – escaped the airport with the stolen goods and later tried to sell the clothing back to the Nordstrom department store where the victims had recently bought the items. The victims didn’t immediately realize their luggage was missing. The couple pleaded no contest to charges of grand theft and possessing stolen property and were sentenced to jail — nine months for Crudup and six months for Thomas. They both also received three years of probation and were ordered to pay about $6,000 in restitution to Nordstrom, reported the Los Angeles Times. The husband and wife were arrested July 25 at the airport before they could board a flight to Hawaii to celebrate their birthdays. The San Francisco Gate reports Thomas will surrender into custody in August and Crudup, in December. SMH. Good…hopefully these two buttholes have learned their lesson!! San Mateo County Sheriff
Teen Mom 2 Season 6 looks like it’s a go on MTV sometime later this year or early next. Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer and Chelsea Houska are all in! Producers had planned to end the MTV hit series after the current fifth season, which itself began after a long hiatus and uncertainty regarding the show’s future. Due to increased popularity, however, they’ve had a change of heart, and unlike the original Teen Mom set, all four stars are now on board for a sixth round. “Producers saw that ratings were so high,” a source explained. “And now there’s a whole new crop of drama: Jenelle Evans is pregnant, and Leah and Jeremy are talking divorce. It would be foolish to stop filming now.” Well, that sums the situation up rather succinctly, doesn’t it? Evans is expecting her first child with boyfriend Nathan Griffith , a boy to be named Kaiser, in late June. Her son Jace, 4, lives with Evans’ mother Barbara. Mother-of-three Messer has admitted to “struggles” in her marriage to second child, Jeremy Calvert, while Kailyn Lowry welcomed her second child recently. It’s unclear if the first Teen Mom will return to the air, however. The singer, whose dog died last week and who has been open about the unbearable pain in her heart ever since, posted an adorable photo on Instagram today. It’s of her and another canine (Mary Jane) and it features the latter giving the former a “f–king big ass wet kiss.” Cyrus was so sad over Floyd’s passing that she actually sang to a statue of him in Brooklyn last week, while she canceled a Charlotte concert later in the week. Just a half hour prior to its scheduled start time. “Charlotte I really am so sorry I didn’t make it & Raleigh thank you for helping heal my physical and emotional pain,” Miley wrote yesterday on Twitter. The artist is next expected to perform in Washington, D.C. this evening, followed by an Auburn Hills, Michigan., show on Saturday. As a whole, 2014 Super Bowl commercials either played it safe or opted for emotional resonance instead of going for cheap laughs or pushing the envelope. Well, everywhere else besides Savannah, Ga., anyway. In that city alone, viewers were treated to an epic, two-minute long masterpiece from attorney Jamie Casino during the first local commercial break: Seriously, you have to see this ad to believe it … Jamie Casino Super Bowl Commercial “Daddy, what do you do when you go to work?” That’s the hard-hittng question Jamie Casino was asked by his young son, according to this amazing work of marketing, that caused him to reevaluate his life. Casino concedes that he was once a high-powered defense attorney employed by some of the region’s most notorious criminals, who paid him handsomely. Then came his brother Michael’s Labor Day 2012 murder, and how be believed Savannah police chief Willie Lovett covered it up. This has changed everything. Casino is now a man of the people, a one-man legal righter of wrongs who will strap on his leather jacket and wield his sledgehammer of justice for YOU. Seriously. The guy has a freaking sledgehammer. Not to mention a penchant for epic, fiery imagery. Try as you might, Budweiser “Puppy Love” commercial , you can’t outdo Jamie in terms of pure emotion. Pusha T kicked off the new year by celebrating the 5th year anniversary of his clothing brand. Despite the harsh blizzard that hit New York City, friends and taste makers still came together as Pusha T hosted an evening of music and entertainment in honor of Play Cloths. The event took place at The Griffin in the Meatpacking District, where guests celebrated the success of the clothing company he started in 2008 with brother and collaborator “No Malice”. Pusha was excited to celebrate the brand’s milestone achievement. “Play Cloths is near and dear to me, because it came along at a time when music wasn’t going so well for me,” he told friends and guests. Guests enjoyed libations provided by Belaire Rose, D’Usse and Heineken while DJ Envy and DJ Wonder served the night’s entertainment, spinning classics with the mark of VA-based artists Clipse, The Neptunes, Missy Elliott, Timbaland, and the entire old StarTrak roster.
