W.i.P. nightclub feels Tony Parker’s lawsuit against them is baseless and that there is no way they could have predicted the melee that went down. NBA star Parker filed a $20 million lawsuit this week, claiming the club is responsible for the Chris Brown-Drake fight in which he was injured. Parker sustained a scratched retina from shards of glass flying after Brown, Drake, Meek Mill and threw down, requiring eye surgery as a result. Tony says it’s obvious “there was bad blood between Drake and Brown” (allegedly over Rihanna ) and that W.i.P. staff should have known better. Moreover, he says they fueled matters by selling their posses alcohol. But sources close to the club, which has been shuttered, say Drake and Chris Brown are not prone to violence … at least not toward other dudes. The club feels the fight was out of its control , and as for the alleged bad blood, a source said, “Chris Brown and Drake are not Biggie and Tupac.” Parker also suggested that the club was way understaffed, which W.i.P. refutes, saying that 15 security guards were working the night in question. So far, no charges have been filed related to the brawl, though the club was closed indefinitely and the case is still under investigation by the NYPD.

Fourth victim claims she suffered spinal injury during fight and plans to sue Drake. By Gil Kaufman Drake and Chris Brown Photo: We haven’t heard very much from Chris Brown or Drake about what happened at a New York nightclub last week. But we have gotten a string of comments from at least three women who claim to have been injured by flying bottles in the melee. The latest alleged victim spoke up on Tuesday, telling TMZ that she thinks Drake is the one to blame for the fight and that she plans to sue him over her injuries. The woman, Vladimira Brace, has hired a lawyer, who is claiming that his client suffered a spinal injury when she was trampled in the chaos that erupted at the SoHo nightclub W.i.P. in the early morning hours of June 14. Attorney Allan Friedman has reportedly sent a letter to Drake’s reps that alleges, “Your client instigated a brawl with Mr. Chris Brown … [Drake’s] actions were reckless and negligent in inflaming a violent mob … My client personally observed several members of [Drake’s] entourage throwing bottles of champagne with reckless and criminal disregard of the well-being of the innocent bystanders.” Drake’s spokespeople have denied his involvement in the fight, saying he exited the club before it began. Quoting unnamed sources close to Drake, TMZ said the rapper’s reps called Friedman’s allegations “laughable,” referring to the attorney’s claims that the Toronto MC has a “well-documented history” of making “vulgar, abusive and profane remarks concerning women.” Drake’s people noted that he was at the club with just a few security guards, unlike Brown and fellow rapper Meek Mill , who they claim had large entourages with them. And, in light of Brown’s past, which includes a felony assault plea in connection with his 2009 attack on former girlfriend Rihanna, Drake’s reps said the suggestion that their guy has an abuse history with women is hard to justify. Brace is the fourth woman to come forward with claims that she was injured in the fight. In addition to Brown, who posted a photo of his split chin, as well as the singer’s bodyguard, who sustained a head injury, NBA star Tony Parker and Australian tourist Hollie C., have claimed injuries from the fight. Also, a 21-year-old model, Ingrid Gutierrez, claims to have suffered a blow to the head from a bottle and her lawyer said she may require plastic surgery. Another victim, Lucy Pavlovsky, said she suffered a gash to the arm that required 12 stitches and she too is said to be considering legal action against the responsible parties. By Jocelyn Vena W.I.P. nightclub Photo: As more details emerge about the reported altercation between Chris Brown ‘s and Drake ‘s entourages at a Soho nightclub, a rep for Drizzy is denying that the Canadian MC had anything to do with the scuffle at NYC hotspot W.I.P. “Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.I.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began,” his rep told TMZ . “[Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.” The site further reports that the fight broke out between the two camps after Brown and Meek Mill, who was at Drizzy’s table , started “trash talking” each other. Despite earlier suggestions, it was reportedly not over Rihanna, who has been romantically linked to both Drake and Brown. According to the TMZ source, Brown’s face was hurt when Mill threw a bottle at him. Other sources told GossipCop.com that the incident went down around the same time as last call, at 3:50 a.m., when the two crews were partying along with Mary J. Blige, Ne-Yo and Fabolous. Right before Brown got hit in the face with the bottle, the eyewitness said Drake looked “pissed” and “serious.” Once the bottle was thrown, by someone in Drake’s camp — though the site does not specify Mill as the assailant — that’s when things got ugly. For about 15 seconds, the two parties, made up of about 15 people each, began throwing glasses, bottles and metal ice containers at each other, with some people getting caught in the crossfire. The site also obtained a photo of Brown’s bodyguard, Big Pat, who got a serious head injury during the scuffle. In the photo, Pat is lying on a stretcher with his bloody head bandaged. While GossipCop reported that neither Drake nor Brown ever hit each other, Brown did get a wound on his chin. Right after the incident, both parties left the club and then police officials and the club’s bouncers cleared out the club.
