Homecoming is one of the few times in your adult life where you get to experience the nostalgia of being a college student again — minus the classes and homework. The best part about homecoming, besides partying with old friends, is the halftime show at the football game.   Sure, most guys come to see their take home the W, but men and women alike come to see the dance squads do their thing. Especially when it comes to HBCU’s. The Majorette’s dance segment is like a party in itself. STINGETTES! STINGETTES! STINGETTES! These girls are not playing at the Magic City Classic this year! Her J-Setting, prancing and stepping was all the way on point. One fan tweeted , “ @Beyonce gave us a HBCU homecoming performance, just so y’all know. I mean the whole homecoming. Step show. Band. Dance. Concert. I’m telling you. You better do your research and then enroll! You won’t regret it.” And unlike some stars who steal from the lesser known without any form of compensation, Bey gave away 100,000 worth of scholarships to HBCU students . Some fans even joked that the Queen Bey didn’t get to live out her dream of being the HBCU dance team captain because she had to be Beyoncé. Whether that’s facts or not, we don’t know —but what we do know is that the power of the HBCU band dancers is not to be underestimated. From the outfits, to the music selections to the flawless routines, band majorettes are and integral part of not only the Black college experience, but Black culture as a whole. The singer took to her social media pages to announce the good news, along with a long heartfelt caption about how much she’s looking to motherhood. Within her sweet post, the Oakland native reveals that she’s had a hard time hiding her pregnancy since she’s always so open with her fans–but that doesn’t mean she’s revealing who the “best friend” is that she’s having the baby with. “i’m looking forward to sharing my little world with you all… my partnership with my very best friend, our journey of conception, my choice for a natural home birth with my AMAZING midwives at @parteramidwifery and eventually… the little pumpkin! ” Kehlani wrote. So who’s the father….or mother??? Kehlani has talked in the past about identifying as queer, so maybe she’s taking this journey with a lady lover? Or could she mean her “best friend” Kyrie Irving? She did tweet that the baby is with “the only man on earth i trust,” but that’s the only real clue we’ve gotten so far. Since him, Takeoff and Quavo already have ill feelings toward Joe Budden — it makes the Podcast host an easy target to get dragged from Jersey to North Atlanta. Offset had time on Tuesday after Joe posted a promo clip for his latest episode of State Of The Culture . Cardi B’s hubby commented, “I watched ya show u a grown a** n***a speaking on women I seen u in Barnes and u ran like I was gone do sum to you lol. U a hoe a** N***a soon u get touched u gone be police.”     But what did Joe say that has Offset so upset? Source: WENN.com / WENN Lil Uzi Vert has found himself on the wrong side of a potential legal battle, this after he allegedly references a controversial cult group via images present in his upcoming music releases. Heaven’s Gate, the surviving members of the group in question, is pursuing legal action after they say the rapper used their symbol for the cover art of his album and single. Page Six reports : A month after surviving members of the cult slammed the rapper, 24, for the purported Heaven’s Gate-inspired cover of his upcoming album, “Eternal Atake,” the artwork for Uzi’s new single features another reference to the group. Released early Tuesday morning, the artwork for “New Patek” features the rapper reaching through a keyhole — a symbol associated with the infamous suicide cult and featured prominently in its logo. When reached for comment by Page Six, the Telah Foundation, which is made up of surviving Heaven’s Gate members who were left behind to answer media inquiries about the cult, explained that their lawyers have been in touch with the rapper. The outlet adds that officials from the Telah Foundation have employed a legal team to address the use of the logo and when pressed by Page Six , they stated hopes that the parties can come to a mutual understanding. Heaven’s Gate was a religious cult began in 1974 by Marshall Applewhite and led along with Bonnie Nettles. The group believed that their human existence was coming to an end and to rise to the next level, they would need to shade their earthly bodies in order to be transported into a spacecraft where they would live in total bliss free of “mammalian” tendencies. In March 1997, 39 members of the group committed mass suicide in an attempt to hitch a ride to a spacecraft following the Hale-Bopp comet. — Photo: WENN

Surprisingly, it most likely wasn’t because of the return of Lawrence ( Jay Ellis ). In episode five, Issa Rae ‘s character ran into him at the store on her Coachella trip and in episode six, they see each other again at Tiffany’s ( Amanda Seales ) baby shower. Their conversation seemed to go smoothly and Issa made it clear by the end of the episode that she was ready to move on. Only problem is, her new potential bae went missing in action! That’s right. Earlier in the episode, her new starry-eyed boo thang, Nathan (played by Kendrick Sampson),  was making it seem like he had feelings for Issa when they were snuggled up in her bed. But when Issa texted him about a Lyft investigation pertaining to the night they met, Nathan didn’t respond for a day in a half. So in millennial dating years that’s like…a week!   There could only be two explanations for this. Either Nathan’s on the run from the law…   Or he completely ghosted Issa.   For anyone who’s been left stranded and alone by a potential bae, I’d imagine you had some traumatic flashbacks when watching episode six. During a recent show in Chicago, the TDE rapper told the crowd that he’s not his “real self” right now, but he’s pushing through because that’s what Miller would want. “I just don’t feel right putting out an album,” he said. “As y’all can tell, I’m not my real self right now…I shouldn’t even be here right now. But like I said, my ni**a Mac would not want me to be in the house sad. He would clown me for some weird sh*t.” Q is also not in the mood to do interviews. “I’m just not ready to walk into the radio station and the first thing they ask me is, ‘So Mac Miller’…I’m not ready to deal with those questions. Who knew that an episode, that wasn’t a season finale, could have you go through a million emotions all at once, only to leave you completely in awe with your jaw hitting the floor. If you tuned into episode 5 of Insecure season 3, you know two things — Issa Rae and Nathan are a good looking couple and Lawrence Hive has reassembled. That’s right folks, Jay Ellis lied to us all, Lawrence is indeed on season 3 and it’s amidst Issa’s new budding romance. You know exes can’t just let you move on, right? Episode 5 was definitely a favorite episode of the season. The shenanigans that occurred at Coachella will leave you in stitches. Just like every other episode this season, the soundtrack was pretty dope too. Let’s get into all of the songs that played while our favorite characters were high out of their minds at Coachella. Book ft. Haviah Mighty – “Vamonos” Pretty much the first time anyone is hearing of this song is as it leads us into episode 4. For what it’s worth, that’s a huge accomplishment.
