Teen Mom Cover-Up: Gary Shirley Tells Girlfriend to Stay Mum on Amber Portwood Whomping

Yesterday we played a video of Amber Portwood’s baby daddy, Gary Shirley , laughing at and antagonizing the volatile, troubled Teen Mom star. Often seen as the victim of her attacks, this cast Gary in a different light. Now, the audio below poses additional questions about Gary’s role. On December 15, Shirley desperately tried to get his other chick, a frequent target of Amber’s threats , to cover up yet another beatdown. Gary admits that Amber “f**king hit me” and can clearly be heard telling his girl how to stonewall reporters who got wind of the altercation. Laura Govan Accuses Gilbert Arenas of Family Abandonment

When NBA star Gilbert Arenas was traded to the Orlando Magic this month, he didn’t just leave behind the Washington Wizards. He also abandoned his pregnant girlfriend and three children. A publicist for Laura Govan tells The Washington Post that the guard’s baby mama “has not heard from Arenas the whole month of December.” He reportedly left his family “with no money to purchase food or Christmas gifts.” Arenas actually seemed to acknowledge his irresponsible behavior, telling the newspaper soon after the trade: “I went to the airport and left. I didn’t have a chance to say bye to anybody. I didn’t even say bye to the kids.” Govan – who is the sister of Basketball Wives star Gloria Govan – and Arenas have had a rocky nine-year relationship. They’ve broken up numerous times, she’s been accused of having an affair with Shaquille O’Neal and she’s currently knocked up with her and Gilbert’s fourth child. Overall, we know Arenas likes to call himself as Agent Zero, but we always thought that was a reference to his uniform number. Not his number of morals.

Miley Cyrus Bong Video Puff all night long : Saving the best for last, nothing sparked outcry quite like the Miley Cyrus bong video . It was just salvia, okay?! God.

Ashton Kutcher says he’s in training for the Apocalypse . With that, and the following news, in mind, we have a message for the actor: step it up. The End of Days is nearly upon us… Multiple sources confirm that Kim Kardashian really will release a music video in the near future, and Kanye West will play a key role in it! TMZ reports the video was shot in Los Angeles on December 28, while Kim Tweeted the following on that date: “OMG u guys have no idea what I’m doing today! You are gonna DIE!!!!” In October, Kim and Kanye were spotted together on multiple occasions. We assumed they were dating. But now we know better. Or worse, we should say. Now we know much, much worse.

Gary Shirley: Victim or Amber Portwood Antagonist?

Is rotund Teen Mom baby daddy Gary Shirley the target of Amber Portwood’s insane rage, or does he play a big role in antagonizing her? In a video obtained by TMZ, Shirley gets an earful from the accused felon, but the video raises serious questions about big daddy himself. Shot in April, the clip shows Shirley on the phone with Amber Portwood, who goes off on him as usual. Strangely, he seems to revel in it. Should we be pointing fingers at Gary as well? Portwood pleaded not guilty to assault this week, but Gary may not be a sympathetic figure. He sure had fun with this particular, button-pushing diatribe. While she was reportedly encouraged to fight Gary by MTV, cops say Amber claims it was not done for Teen Mom viewers’ sake but was authentic anger. Is Gary was really a “victim” of violence in all of this? Was he playing it up for the cameras, or just riling up his baby mama? Michael Lohan, voice of reason? Now we’ve seen everything. Lindsay Lohan’s dad says she’s being manipulated by a lawyer dying for publicity and that suing the producer of a movie based on her life is absurd. Her mom and Mike’s ex-wife, Dina Lohan, and attorney Stephanie Ovadia have made rumblings that they may sue the producers of Dogs in Pocketbooks . Michael says the film about a spoiled starlet with addictions who goes in and out of rehab is just satire, although he hopes they get the facts straight. Bristol Palin to Enroll at Arizona State?

Dancing With the Stars finalist / abstinence advocate / Facebook fiend Bristol Palin just bought a house and says that she may enroll in college nearby. The location of said property: Maricopa, Arizona. The $172,000 Arizona home Bristol Palin just paid for in cash has five bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 3,900 square feet. The price? $172,000. Quite a deal. SUN DEVIL : Is Bristol heading to ASU? [Photo: Pacific Coast News] So far, no word on which school the 20-year-old will be attending, but the home is just miles from Arizona State University’s school of broadcasting. Bristol has expressed an interest in broadcasting public speaking. Another fun fact: ASU declined to give Barack Obama an honorary degree in May. He gave the commencement speech, but officials deemed that he, the President of the U.S., hadn’t done enough in his career to warrant the honor. Sounds like a good fit for Bristol. Sarah Palin ? So proud.

Natalie Portman is pregnant! Natalie Portman is also engaged to her unborn baby’s father, Benjamin Millepied! What a day of announcements for her! The happy couple met during the production of Black Swan , for which Nat earned nominations for a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award. Here’s a photo of the pregnant and engaged star with her man … The future Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin Millepied! Benjamin Millepied served as choreographer for Black Swan , but a few months into filming, he found himself on the other side of the camera as well. Of being cast as the dance partner of Portman and co-star Mila Kunis, he said, “I really, really got into it… I was blown away, especially by Natalie.” Apparently! This will be the first marriage for both and their first child as well. It’s unclear how along Natalie is, but in any case, congratulations!
