The Hunger Games Spoilers: Five Scenes to Watch For!

The filming of The Hunger Games is complete, according to Lionsgate. With the announcement that the first film in the much-anticipated franchise is now in the next phase of its production, a full-length trailer can’t be far behind. In the meantime, here are five key scenes that will define this film event and have fans counting down the days until the premiere, scheduled for March 23. Be forewarned, as significant spoilers lie ahead … The Hunger Games Movie Trailer A Capitol event . According to reports, the scenes shot in the Capitol for the opening ceremonies of The Hunger Games will be nothing short of epic. Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss dons a dress made of flames, courtesy of Lenny Kravitz as her stylist, Cinna. The visuals are said to be out of this world. Katniss-on-Peeta action : As part of an ongoing saga, Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson get their mack on while in the arena. Do we need to say more? Hemsworth hunts . Peeta, schmeeta. Some of the hunting scenes featuring Gale show Liam Hemsworth at his ripped finest. Great casting, THG . Awesome Effie : Elizabeth Banks steals every scene in her pink-wigged, diva-like glory, bringing to life one of the books’ most colorful characters. RIP Rue : Katniss’s BFF, played by youngster Amandla Stenberg, does not make it out alive, leading to a poignant scene in which Kat adorns Rue’s body with flowers, then sings alongside her fallen comrade’s body. And STAY Out: Tareq Salahi to Divorce Michaele!

Tareq Salahi says he’s had it with wife Michaele’s betrayal and will be divorcing her. You can’t take anything he says at face value, but who could blame him. As we reported yesterday, a crushed Tareq says he was blindsided by Michaele’s affair with Neal Schon of Journey fame – and a new video is the final straw. A video he shot, featuring Michaele and Neal kissing, playfully, over Labor Day. All while Tareq watched, oblivious to the long-term affair going on. Brutal. Michaele can go ahead and pack her bags … wait, she already did . Tareq is telling friends he can never trust Michaele Salahi (a realization some of us came to long ago) and will never take that hoe back, no matter what. He feels she’ll eventually tire of her special Journey and try to come home. Nevertheless, the divorce is on like Neal’s schlong … which strangely made its way into his divorce filing. Really. We cannot make this stuff up. According to Tareq’s divorce papers , adultery and abandonment are the reasons for the divorce. And this: “The paramour [Neal] sent to my email account … a email with an attachment of a penis” – presumably his. Tareq blasts his wife, claiming: “She continually exposes our friends and acquaintances to her adulterous relationship and has flaunted it throughout the community, the nation and the world, and thus caused me to suffer great harm, humiliation and embarrassment.” The nation and world? We feel bad for you dude, but come on now. Tareq says his wife’s been boninh Schon “for a period of months.” The locks on the homestead and winery have already been changed, so Tareq is clearly moving forward with plans to divorce his cheating spouse. Looks like he did stop believing after awhile. Sorry, we couldn’t resist. On a related note, wonder if Michaele rocks out to this while nailing Neal … Journey – Faithfully

Jim Carrey Creeps, Covers Radiohead

Jim Carrey and his band played a gig in New York over the weekend, covering hits by groups such as Smashing Pumpkins and Radiohead. In related news: Jim Carrey has a band?!? Apparently. Check out his cover of “Creep” now: Jim Carrey Covers Radiohead The actor hasn’t made news for anything movie-related in awhile ( Mr. Popper’s Penguins ? Really?!?), but he’s expanding his resume these days to include music and quasi disturbing stalker videos. We love Emma Stone, too, Jim. But we aren’t twice her age and we don’t tell the world about what sex might be like with the actress.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand star Andy Whitfield passed away at the age of 39 yesterday, about a year after a recurrence of his Stage 1 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Paul Simon Performs "The Sound of Silence" at 9/11 Memorial

Paul Simon, who memorably performed “The Boxer” to open the first Saturday Night Live episode after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, was also featured today at New York City’s 9/11 Memorial ceremony. Watch the singer’s acoustic version of “The Sound of Silence” now. Paul Simon – The Sound of Silence (9/11 Memorial) Said Mayor Michael Bloomberg at the event: “Although we can never un-see what happened here, we can also see that children who lost their parents have grown into young adults, grandchildren have been born and good works and public service have taken root to honor those we loved and lost.”

Vanessa Hudgens to Debut Fashion Line

Vanessa Hudgens is coming out with her very own fashion line. Details remain sparse, but the actress told E! News at last night’s PopChips’s Playland party for Fashion’s Night Out: “We’re still figuring it out, but it’s definitely in the works!” In what direction do Vanessa’s fashion tastes lean? “Street chic, bohemian and wearable,” she said. Of course, it’s nice just to see Hudgens wearing any clothing at all. She’s definitely come a long way since a couple of unfortunate incidents that didn’t involve anything wearable . Joe Jonas has released the official studio version of “Just in Love” one of the first solo efforts from this talented young artist. It would be exciting enough news under any conditions, but now we have this possibility to consider: might he be singing about Taylor Swift? Those two might get back together . Joe Jonas – Just in Love “I am very excited to premiere my new single ‘Just In Love’ for you guys,” Joe wrote on his website today. “This is a song I wrote when I was going through a relationship with somebody. She was arguing with me, and all I could do was say ‘Listen, I love you, but we don’t need to go through this.’ So, this this is called ‘Just In Love.'” What do you think?

Jenelle Evans: NO Jail Time For Savage Beating!

Jenelle Evans will somehow go to jail for eviscerating Britany Truett in a fight back in March. The Teen Mom star was given a 30-day suspended sentence today. Evans was charged with simple affray, which is less bad than the aggravated assault she arguably could have been hit with, and also got 12 months probation. If she stays clean for a year, she’ll avoid jail. We’d say that’s a toss-up … Jenelle Evans Beating Up Girl Evans was fined $100, must take anger management courses, do community service, and have zero contact with the girl whose face she smashed to a pulp during the fight or the pathetic lowlifes who cheered the train wreck on (above). As for Britany Truett, she received the same sentence even though she took about 79 punches while landing close to none. Seriously, she got whomped. Jenelle Evans ‘ attorney says the sentence was fair, given that “it came out that it wasn’t Janelle being the aggressor and Ms. Truett as the victim.” “It was presented as a bad decision on everybody’s part,” the lawyer adds. “I don’t think that there was a single victim in the case.”
