Police Chief Thomas Burke Caught Using N-Word In Book Drive Email Police Chief Thomas Burke was sworn into office on Monday to ensure the safety of the residents of Farrell, Pennsylvania. Only problem is, he just got caught sending an n-word laden email to his colleagues asking them to donate money to a local book drive. According to WICU , Councilwoman Stephanie Sheffield ain’t with it. Not even a lil’ bit: “I spoke with him this morning, and I immediately said dismissal,” Councilwoman Sheffield adds. “[Burke] came and knocked on my door this morning with an apology letter and how he is very familiar with our community and our area. [Burke said] he does use the ‘N’ Word very often because that’s the way it is in our area.
