The Khloe Kardashian pregnant rumor mill may be quiet at the moment, but that isn’t stopping one new reality star from wondering about the potential offspring of this terrible X Factor host. Liza Morales – Lamar Odom’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of his children – has joined the cast of TLC’s Sister Wives Confidential . And on that educational program, Morales says of Odom’s wife: “I don’t know if she’s good maternally.” Ouch! Slam! Sort of! Morales is quick to add that she hasn’t “heard anything negative” about the way Khloe has been around her stepkids, so she’s pretty much just talking about of her rear end. As for similarities between Khloe and Morales? “I’m 100% Puerto Rican. I don’t see it,” Liza said. “We both have dark hair. We both have a cherub face. The other day I tweeted “what’s the weirdest thing you’ve inserted in your vagina”….because it fascinates me that weird things have been inserted in vaginas everywhere…this video proves it. It was sent in from one of my facebook homies who’s girlfriend I have masturabted to, thanks to those killer vacation pics….and I guess it was his way of thanking me…. There’s no way to prove if this was a porn shoot, or fact, or just a couple guys with a genius idea and a girl with a vagina big enough and willing enough to put it to work… I’d say I hope she doesn’t get Salmonela, but I think it’s safe to say that’s the least of her concerns, if she’s willing to do this kind of thing, I’m sure far worse has been inserted. I’ve been following the long, lucrative, expansive career of Xenia Deli for a solid 3 weeks now….because she’s some hot newcomer model who I figure we should encourage to see more of her….because there is no way she won’t end up being in SI or Victoria’s Secret, I can predict these things….. Sure, we’ve had excellent spots for “Dark Knight Rises” and “Amazing Spider-Man” in recent months, but did either of those feature the Incredible Hulk running full-sprint toward the sky to catch a battered and broken Iron Man? No, they didn’t — yet somehow, I’m the only person on Talk Nerdy who seems really, truly psyched for everything “Avengers” has to offer. As you’ll see in this week’s episode of Talk Nerdy below, my friends and co-hosts Eric Ditzian and Brian Phares are nowhere near as jazzed about “The Avengers” as I am. In fact, they’re quite worried about the Marvel movie. I share some of their concerns, sure, but more than anything, I’m seriously bummed that their levels of excitement are so low after watching the newest trailer for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Their reactions got me thinking: Am I losing my mind? Am I alone in my “Avengers” fan fever dream? I reached out to several colleagues and pals in the film and comic book space to get their opinions on the new trailer, and thankfully for my mental health, it seems I’m not alone in my copious praise. “I just have one word to describe the new trailer: BIG!” MTV Geek editor Valerie Gallaher said. “To see the core Avengers characters together and in action on such a colossal playing field is just a dream come true. And Hulk looks great and believable, which is a real relief for me.” “The new footage showcasing Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man was invincible; the glimpse of Stark Tower, exquisite; and the promise of more Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, incredible. We even got a quick look at Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill,” offered Steve Sunu with Comic Book Resources . “While the trailer didn’t really defy any expectations for Earth’s Mightiest Movie, it certainly met them — and piqued our interest as to why the Avengers are fighting Decepticons to the soundtrack of ‘Inception.’ ” Of course, my buddy Steve is referring to the giant monster/ spaceship seen at the end of the trailer. Popular theories are pointing to the creature being a Marvel Studios variation on Fin Fang Foom, the massive, shape-shifting space dragon from comic book lore. Jordan Hoffman offered some opinions on the mystery antagonist in his latest Planet Fanboy column for NextMovie , and also added his assessment of the “Avengers” trailer. “Will there be a better movie than ‘Marvel’s The Avengers’ this summer? Maybe … probably,” he said. “I mean, ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ and ‘Prometheus’ are looking outrageous. Will there be a trailer that draws more breath from the daydreams of comic-reading fanboys? I strongly doubt it.” Exactly my point. “Avengers” might not be the best geek movie coming out in 2012, but I’m hard pressed to identify a trailer with more geekgasm-worthy material. As Comics Alliance ‘s senior editor Caleb Goellner put it: “The new ‘Avengers’ trailer was essentially what every fan has been waiting for since Nick Fury broke into Tony Stark’s pad after the ‘Iron Man’ credits. Previous promotions did well with broadcasting the film’s human drama, but admittedly had me worried about its special effects budget. The new trailer slayed my concerns. Williams was docked a point early in the second set against Samantha Stosur – who won 6-2, 6-3 – after shouting “Come on!!!” as encouragement to herself. That board will decide what discipline, if any, is appropriate. Fines are all but a given; Worst case is she could be banned from future tournaments. Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal play for the men’s title today at 4 p.m. UPDATE : Officials just fined Serena $2,000 for the outburst, deeming that “Williams’ conduct … does not rise to the level of a major offense.” Evidently not. Her runner-up prize? $1.4 million. So that’s that.
SpongeBob SquarePants is in some hot water. The cartoon character is at the center of a study suggesting that watching just nine minutes of that program can cause attention and learning problems. The study took 60 four-year-olds and randomly assigned them to watch SpongeBob or the slower-paced PBS cartoon Caillou , or had them draw pictures. Right after the nine-minute assignments , the kids took mental function tests; those who had watched SpongeBob did measurably worse than the others. Should parents soak up this new study’s facts about SpongeBob? Previous research linked TV-watching with long-term attention problems, but the new study suggests problems can also occur after very little exposure. Kids’ cartoon shows typically feature about 22 minutes of action, so watching a full program “could be more detrimental,” the researchers speculated. The results should be interpreted cautiously because of the study’s small size, but the data bolster the idea that media exposure is a public health issue. Fortunately, no studies were done in which they had to watch Kim Kardashian and her siblings on Keeping Up . Talk about scarring the kiddos for life.
Ummm… we guess this is hot. Demi Moore has Tweeted a picture of herself topless, but there’s a PG-rated catch: we can’t actually see the front of this actress, who included with the photo a caption that reads: “Remember…..you’ve got your own back.” Might this seemingly random act be a response to Ashton Kutcher’s first promotional photo for Two and a Half Men , for which he poses naked ? We’ll likely never know the answer. It’s not the first time Demi has Tweeted out a shot of her body, either. There was this bikini pic in September of last year, which, combined with the latest image makes us think Moore needs a new movie role ASAP. She has way too much time on her (admittedly attractive) hands.
Kate Gosselin WILL be back on TV. The reality star and perennial contender for Worst Person in America made this abundantly clear this morning, mere hours before Kate Plus 8 airs its last episode. Even Jon Gosselin has a clue these days and recently told Kate to get a life – as in a normal life – but she told Today ‘s Matt Lauer that her concerns lie elsewhere. Kate hilariously/depressingly expressed concern for her show’s “devastated” fans whom she says must feel like they are losing their next-door neighbor. While “there is some relief,” she said, “there is sadness, because it’s the end of an era.” An era where she must now worry about her children , she says. Regarding her ex-husband’s advice to scale back, Kate countered, “Jon may be accepting of mediocre for his kids … I only want the best for my kids.” More like for your ego, you grating banshee! As for how and when she plans to return to TV, she didn’t have a specific show in mind, saying “It would have to be the right one.” But rest assured: “I’m sure you will see my kids again at some point,” she said.
