On the 7th of May 2013, Justin arrived in Cape Town at about 8 pm. I, along with quite a few others were waiting outside his hotel for him. He arrived at the hotel at about 9. I went to his hotel straight after school and waited for hours and hours hoping I would get the chance to see him. When Justin arrived, so many fans were outside his hotel that he drove past us slowly and stuck his hand out of the window pulling the peace sign. I just burst into tears because I was so happy that he was finally here! My dream had become reality and my waiting was over. The next morning was the day of the concert and we woke up really early to get to the stadium as soon as we could. I waited with my friends and friends’ parents in the general standing queue because they got general standing tickets. At about 12 o’clock my mom and I went to the VIP meet and greet line. My hair got so messed up because of the rain and I looked completely awful. We were then taken into another holding area where we waited for about an hour. We were then taken inside and waited until Justin arrived. While we were waiting I had the chance to meet Dan Kanter and get a photo with him. I also saw Kenny and a few of Justin’s dancers. When Justin arrived, we waited in a passage way until it was time to be let in to meet him. I started crying because I was both excited and nervous. We were let in one by one and when I got to the door, one of Justin’ security guards stopped me and said he had something for me. He put his hand into his pocket and pulled out a signed Justin Bieber guitar pick. I put the gifts I had for Justin on a table and walked into a curtained room. When I saw him I literally couldn’t breath. I looked over to my mom and said, “He looks perfect.” He looked like an angel standing there. I tried so hard to hold back my tears. I walked up to him, got my photo taken, forgot to ask him for a hug, I was in complete awe. As I was exiting the room I thanked him for coming to Cape Town and he said, “Thanks for coming sweetie.” At that stage I just burst into tears, I just couldn’t hold it back any longer. The security led me outside, I got my meet and greet bag and waited to be taken into the stadium. I was so happy that my dream had come true. I couldn’t stop crying, I was just so happy! We were then taken into the golden circle area, about 20 minutes after we got inside the golden circle the countdown came up on the screen. Everyone started screamed. When the timer hit 10 seconds, we all counted down and it was finally a reality seeing my hero in front of me. My first ever Justin Bieber concert was just about to happen. The day I had dreamt about for years was finally here and it was perfect. I am so thankful that I got the chance to meet him and even just experience his concert. My name is Catherine and I am 17 years old from Melbourne, Australia . In 2009 I overheard some girls talking about this “Justin Bieber” kid, so I went home and looked him up, and my journey as a belieber began. Since then, it has always been one of my biggest dreams to meet Justin. Prior to the Believe Tour, I had seen Justin at the My World Tour in May 2011, and in July 2012 I saw him walk into the studio at Australia’s Got Talent. In June 2013, it was announced that the Believe Tour was coming to Australia in November/December. Once all of the packages were announced, I knew that no matter what I was going to buy a meet & greet, as I had worked all summer to save my money! During pre-sale I missed out on them, so instead I bought an emerald ticket at the end of the runway for his show on December 3rd. The day all of the tickets came on I was really nervous but five seconds before they officially went on-sale I pressed enter and before my eyes I saw “X1 JUSTIN BIEBER VIP MEET AND GREET PACKAGE DECEMBER 2ND 2013.” It was unreal, and once the confirmation of my purchase went through, I sat there in shock, I was speechless, I was finally meeting my everything. Finally the day came, December 2nd was to be the best day of my entire life. I arrived at Rod Laver Arena at 4pm and met up with some of my friends from Melbourne Bieber Team, a group of Beliebers from Melbourne who come together to bond over our love of Justin and help raise money for various charities. A lot of my Belieber friends actually had meet and greets that night so I am so lucky that we were all able to experience this together. After we picked up our tickets, we walked into the arena and got our VIP lanyards and wristbands put on. We also all got to meet Dan and take pictures with him, he was really kind to everyone! Just a bit before 8.30pm, Justin arrived and popped his head out of the curtain. As soon as the lines started to move I started to freak out and so many thoughts raced through my mind. I didn’t even know what I was going to say to him! Just before we turned the corner I took a deep breath and there he was, standing right before my eyes! It was surreal, he looks so perfect in person, so precious, words cannot explain. There were about 5 girls in front of me so I just looked at Justin the whole time whilst they were getting their pictures. Before I knew it, I was next. He told the girl in front of me, “Watch my shoes” as a security guard pushed her onto him quickly and made her stumble a bit and that made me so nervous because I thought he was in a bad mood! Thankfully he held his arms wide open with a big smile and I walked up to him and looked at his little stache and sparkling brown eyes. “Hi Justin, I love you!” and he replied with, “Hello! Aw I love you!” (thank goodness I audio recorded it because I wouldn’t have remembered!). He then turned me quickly for our photo and after that grabbed my right arm and looked me so deeply in the eyes and he was smiling so big. It was unreal. Justin was holding onto ME and staring into MY eyes whilst smiling? I said, “Thank you for everything” and once again he smiled and let go of me as I walked out of the room bawling and hugged all of my friends, we couldn’t believe it. My seat was in the 4th row on the floor and it was so incredibly close, I can’t explain the feeling. During the concert in ‘Eenie Meenie’ he pointed at me which was an amazing feeling. After the concert was over, I went home and didn’t sleep the entire night and at 4.30am I checked Bieber Fever and they had uploaded the meet and greet photos and when I saw mine I did not stop crying. I was so happy and I didn’t even remember feeling Justin’s hand on my shoulder, so that was insane! I also didn’t remember looking at the camera so I’m thankful that I actually did. The night after I had floor seats again near the end of the runway, so it was nice to have another perspective of the show. I am so blessed and more than grateful that I had two amazing experiences and if you haven’t met Justin yet or been to one of his concerts, never ever give up because as corny as it sounds, if you believe in your dreams and stay hopeful, it will happen for you! I never actually thought I would be writing one of these but here I am, writing it with the biggest smile on my face. I’m just going to skip right to the point. Justin’s last leg of the tour was in Australia and I was lucky enough to get two really awesome seats at the side of the stage. Originally, I tried for meet and greet but I wasn’t quick enough to buy them so I missed out. That was upsetting but I moved on and just felt blessed to be able to attend the shows. When it got closer to the date there were so many meet and greet competitions that I entered, one of them was the “Bieber Fever Best Collection.” When I entered I was sort of hopeful, but by the time it was almost at the 24 hrs before the concert, I had given up hope. I refreshed my email and saw I had one from them saying I won. I literally broke down into tears, and I was so glad I was the only one at home at the time, because it would have been so embarrassing if I had done that in front of everyone. The day of the meet and greet, we were lining up outside where everyone was told to meet. So many of the girls were saying how they were going to push in and make sure they got to stand next to Justin, and that they didn’t care about anyone else, they just wanted to get next to him. By that point I was starting to worry if it would turn out alright or not. People were also saying that you practically get pushed in, shoved next to him, a photo taken and then you are dragged out by security. While we were waiting in the hallway, Fredo and a few of the other crew members were walking past but they seemed like they were in a rush and didn’t stop for photos, which was okay, it was still nice seeing them. We formed a group of six and started lining up single file against the wall. The line started moving and that’s when I realized Justin was literally only meters away and the photos were starting. I just kept thinking, “He’s right in there!” Security guard opened the curtain and I looked in, and there were so many people in there. I kind of froze on the spot and I didn’t know what to do. Two of the people from my group walked up and stood on his right side. I was literally just standing there staring at Justin and the empty spot on his left thinking, “Oh my gosh, do I stand there? THERE IS NO ONE NEXT TO HIM!” Michelle (my friend) pushed me and said, “Quick! Go stand next to him!” so I walked over to Justin, and I wrapped my arm around him, and the moment I held him, I swear to God, I don’t even know how to explain it. His skin is so soft, my hand was on his rib cage, and I just remember standing there thinking, “How is his skin so damn soft?!” I heard him talking, and I was completely out of it so I didn’t even understand what he said. I turned to look at him, and I was just staring at his face, so close to mine, his skin was flawless, he is actually so much more tan in person. His eyes are beautiful, I just..wow. I was then standing there thinking, “He is actually real.” Like it sounds so stupid to say it like that, of course he is real. The girl on the other side of Justin asked if we could take a silly photo and Justin said, “Yeah sure, let’s go. One. Two…” and then he pulled his face and the photo was taken. As soon as I let go of him, I just started crying, and I couldn’t believe what had actually just happened. Justin really was so sweet, and it wasn’t rushed at all, and everything went perfect, and the show afterwards was amazing. I really am blessed. My name is Hannah, I’m 14 years old and I live in Dubai but I’m from Canada. I met Justin on May 4th, 2013 and it was the best day of my life. I didn’t win the meet and greet tickets, I won them! On April 4th, my best friend Paige was over and we were talking about the concert which was the month after. In Dubai, the concert was standing, no seats, so everybody who got fan-pit tickets got their name put in a draw to meet Justin. We knew that we were never going to win because it was like a 1 out of 35,000 chance. An hour passed and Paige and I were in my kitchen. She got a call from her dad and she pursed into tears. Her dad had told her that she won and that the radio station was going to call her and tell her that she had won, so she hung up the phone and a few seconds later the station called. They told her that she won and over the phone I yelled, “Can she bring a friend?!” Then Brent Black (the radio host) asked to talk to me and told me that I was meeting Justin as well. Here is a recording of us winning the meet and greet tickets. On the day of the concert, Paige and I got there early, about 3  hours early. When it was time, they started collecting tickets from everybody but hadn’t let people in the gates yet. Since Dubai is really hot, I got very claustrophobic, hot and I passed out. The main people who were collecting the tickets let Paige, our friend Hasnaa, Paige’s mum and brother and I through the gates early to get me to the ambulance. Once they checked me breathing they started to let people in through the gates, but before that, they told Paige, Hasnaa and I to run so we could get to the front of the stage. We ran through and Hasnaa was the first one to get there, so Paige and I ran to the building where we were going to meet him. We saw a lady with our names on a list and she crossed us off and she gave us our VIP passes. We went through a hallway where the waiting room was. About an hour before I met him, Justin’s back up dancers came into the room and said hi to all of us. Later, Paige and I ran to the front of the line and we were about the fifth and sixth people to meet Justin. They piled around 3-4 people in the room at a time. They finally signaled Paige and I to enter the room and I heard her whisper in my ear, “Hannah can I please go before you?” I told her that she could and before I knew it I was walking up to my whole world. He walked up towards me with a huge smile on his face and he looked at my with his gorgeous chocolate brown eyes. I said hey to him and he looked at me and said, “Hey babe.” He held out his arm for me to go under and he put his arm around my waist. I did the same to him. After the picture was taken I walked away and Paige was waiting for me outside and we both started crying. She hugged me and she said, “I know, Hannah, I know.” We both calmed down a little bit and as we were walking out of the building we were handed a Believe record and I just stared at it in shock. I still can’t believe that I met my idol. I called my sister and I told her that I had just met him, and she asked me how it was, and I told her that he’s so beautiful! You see him in the pictures and he’s a God but in person, you realize that he’s real, he’s not made up, he’s not a robot, he’s this beautiful human being. Miley Cyrus Cancels Concert Half Hour Before Start Time

Miley Cyrus backed out of a concert at the very last moment last night. A rep for the artist confirms that Cyrus came down with a case of the flu and was forced to postpone a show in Charlotte as a result, just 30 minutes prior to when it was scheduled to begin. “Due to illness, Miley Cyrus’ “Bangerz” tour date scheduled for tonight, April 7, Time Warner Cable Arena Charlotte has been cancelled,” read a statement in response to the incident. “Cyrus has been diagnosed with flu and doctors have ordered her to rest. She will not be able to perform as scheduled. Refunds for Charlotte tickets will be available at the point of ticket purchase. Tickets purchased online or by phone will be automatically refunded.” According to the same statement, Miley will perform tonight in Raleigh. The singer has had a very tough week. Her dog, Floyd, was killed by a coyote and Cyrus has been openly been in “unbearable pain” over the tragedy. She actually sang to a statue of the dog in Brooklyn over the weekend and has wondered via Twitter whether she’ll ever be able to love again . Often crying in concert over the past few days, Cyrus has said the tears have negatively affected her voice.
