For starters, I would love to say that I didn’t think that I would be blessed enough with the chance to meet Justin. I have looked up to him since I was 10 years old and I’ve been trying super hard to meet him. It all started in early December 2012. I had been to only one concert in my life and that was Justin’s first show in Dallas on the Believe Tour. I did not attend the My World Tour, so this concert made up for it. My best friend told me that Justin announced 30 additional North American Believe Tour dates, and at first I didn’t believe her, until she sent me the link to get tickets. All week I begged my parents to let me go see Justin, just one more time. They would not budge at all and I finally resorted to calling every radio station hundreds of times a day to win tickets. I called 102.9, 106.1 and 93.3 to try and win tickets. I was extremely devastated and wanted to give up, but I kept trying. On December 14th, 2012, my parents called me into their room and told me to read a letter that they received from my high school. I went on to read the paper to see that the paper simply was a receipt and it said, ‘Justin Bieber VIP Meet and Greet Experience.’ I dropped the paper and buried my head into their bed and cried my eyes out. I was finally meeting my idol Justin Drew Bieber. July 3rd, 2013 rolled around and I was extremely nervous to meet Justin. I curled my new purple and blue dip dyed hair, sprayed my Someday perfume and I was ready to go. My friend and I went to lunch and arrived at the venue. My father picked up our tickets and left us in the line to go to the VIP Party. Right at the beginning of the party, we took a couple of pictures and we sat at a table near the back window. We listened closely and heard basketballs bouncing and feet on the floor. We soon checked the Twitter accounts of the crew and they were all playing basketball in the Dallas Maverick’s practice gym! We didn’t do much at the party, but when the raffle came around, the very first number called to receive Justin’s towel was my friend! We cried and took pictures with the towel and everything, then it was time to line up. My nerves were at the highest they have ever been in my entire life and I started to get dizzy. Soon enough, people were walking in and out crying their eyes out. The first line went by in about 5 minutes and then came my line. My friend went in ahead of me and I watched as she talked to Justin. While she was talking, I was just looking at every detail of Justin. I took in the moment and then I looked into Justin’s eyes and he had his arms open smiling at me. I slowly walked into his arms and he smiled down at me and said, “Hey!” I smiled up at him and said a quiet, “Hi!” I smiled for the pictures and tried to hold back my tears and then I felt Justin’s arm slide from my waist and brush my lower back. I turned to face him and he did the same and stared in my eyes for a split second before security pulled me aside. I quickly said, “Justin can I have a hug?” and he smiled and said, “Of course sweetheart!” Security had their arms in between me and Justin and Justin looked down and moved their arms aside and wrapped me in his arms. I cried into his shoulder and I heard him chuckle softly. I felt his silky smooth hair in my fingers as my arms were wrapped around his neck in the hug. We let go after about 5 seconds and I said, “Thank you so much! I love you Justin!” Justin waved to me and said, “I love you more sweetie!” I was about to fall on the floor and cry right there. I grabbed my bag and my autograph and walked to my seat in complete shock. I ran into Kenny along the way and he gave me a huge bear hug to try and get me to stop crying. That night was the best night in my life and nothing will ever change that. I also got thousands of views on my video of the wonderful OLLG! She also followed and tweeted me. Two days before Justin came to my hometown ( Chicago ), a show to which I had no tickets to and which I was not planning on going to, I was on my way to a church retreat in Iowa City, a 4 hour bus ride away. Flash forward Monday, July 8 th at about 9 pm. I lay down on my bed exhausted from the day, and see an email notification. At that point I had completely forgotten that I even applied to the BieberFever Best Collection contest, but as soon as I saw the words “Congratulations, Anna,” my heart skipped a beat and I started crying. Every girl in my room was wondering what happened, and in between sobs I told them I had won meet and greets with Justin Bieber. Anyways, long story short, the amazing retreat director had the idea that I could take a bus home so my parents didn’t have to drive 8 hours. I decided to take my friend Jennifer, who happened to be on the retreat with me, and we took a bus from Iowa City to Chicago at 3 in the morning. Next thing I know, I am waiting in line to pick up my meet and greets, still with no tickets to the actual concert. Suddenly, a woman runs up to me and a couple girls in line next to me and is frantically trying to sell section 101, row 9 seats for face value at $95. Unfortunately, my friend and I only had about $80 with us, so we said no. But the lady persisted saying, “You girls are young, I’m not going to rip you off. Just give me $30 for each ticket.” I couldn’t believe it. Not only was I going to meet my idol, but I was going to the concert with amazing seats for a price near free. Soon, I’m walking down the steps to go backstage to meet Justin, hyperventilating and near tears. As we inched closer to the black curtain, I saw Kenny, Alfredo, Dan, and Scooter. Scooter waved to us and Dan said hi as well. And now, the moment I had been waiting for. I can’t describe the feeling, but the second that curtain opened and I saw Justin, my senses left me. I can honestly say that I don’t remember what he said, but thank God my friend Jennifer was there to tell me. I ran in, saw him, literally jumped on him and hugged him so hard that we both fumbled back. I have never in my life hugged someone as tight as him. After I hugged him, security started yelling, “NO HUGS NO KISSES JUST TAKE THE PICTURE.” We took it, and although I had a list of things to tell him, all I managed to say was, “You’re beautiful. I love you so much.” He replied with, “Aw you guys are the best. I love you, thank you so much for coming out to see me.” The second the flash went off, security was already pushing us out, but I yelled out, “Wait Justin one last hug!” He reached out towards me for a hug, and as I hugged him, I quickly pecked him on the cheek. It was honestly like I died and went to heaven and I’m not just saying that. I cried for the next hour and missed all the opening acts, but all I could think about was Justin and how amazing that was. The concert was of course amazing, and Justin must have been in a really good mood because he literally couldn’t stop cracking jokes or laughing. As I write this, I’m not even exaggerating, I still believe that it was all a dream and that it didn’t really happen. My name is Melissa and I never thought that I would actually be able to meet my idol, Justin Drew Bieber. Lets start off by saying that this wouldn’t have happened without my dad. In August 2012, I told my dad that it would be a dream to be able to meet Justin Bieber. I have a disabled little sister who is such a sweetheart and it had been such a rough past couple of years with her in hospitals and with her many disabilities. My dad wanted to do something really special for me so he started looking into it. He is very good with connections and getting ahold of people. It took months and months. Each response said to contact a different person. It finally led up to having to contact his record company. We finally got ahold of someone there and he said he would look into it. We waited a while and by now it was like December 2012 and then he said its looking good but he isn’t 100% sure, so we waited and waited until the week of the concert. The concert was on Sunday January 27th, 2013 and we waited until the Wednesday before the concert which was the 23rd. We wanted 6 meet and greets because my friend was taking me and we were going with 2 of my other best friends. I wanted to take all of them and my dad and my mom but of course we would be so happy just to receive one for me. Then I finally received an answer from him. My dad texted me saying, “He got you 6 meet and greets for Sunday January 27th!” At this point me and my friend were in class jumping around like crazy. Fast forward to the day of the concert. We got to Miami Airlines Arena and picked up our pink meet and greet bracelets. While in line to meet Justin, we got a peak of his beautiful face through the black curtain. He was wearing a green shirt that said, “We all fall down,” and he looked even more beautiful in person. I told my friends to please let me go first because I really wanted to stand next to him and they all agreed. Then it was our turn. I see one of my friends sprint towards him to stand next to him, I was devastated so I started to stand next to him and nudge her to the side when all of a sudden Justin said, “No no no, sweetie come here I got you,” and he put his hands on my shoulders and gently pushed me down to my knees, placing his hand around my upper arm. The picture was taken so fast and I turned around and gave Justin a big hug! Then we walked out and started freaking out. I realized that there was a camera man recording us while we were screaming and saying, “I just met Justin!” We later learned they were filming one of the nights of the Believe Movie. We went to our concert seats, left side of the stage, row nine. We jammed out to the music and had an amazing time. I’ve always dreamt of being able to write my own Bieber experience, but I did not realize that day would happen anytime soon. I wasn’t a belieber since the beginning, but I’ll be here forever. My name is Nicolette, and I’m 14 from New York. I heard Justin was coming to New Jersey on July 30th, 2013. I’ve been begging my mom to try to get me meet and greets since Christmas. On July 29th, the day before the concert, my mom told me she got them. I had literally never been that excited in my entire life. I got to the arena at 2:30, and I waited around until 4:30 to get on the meet and greet line. The line went pretty fast and then I got my wristbands. After that, we waited on another line to go into the pre-party. At the pre-party, the guy said there will be a special guest, and then Dan Kanter arrived. I took two pictures with him and he talked to us for a pretty long time. He told us about pranks Justin did to him in the past, and he talked about music. He was the sweetest guy ever. After the pre-party, we waited in another line, which was the final line to meet Justin. We waited for a pretty long time, but it was totally worth it. When I finally saw Justin he looked like a wax figure. That is how flawless he looked. While walking up to him I said, “Justin, can you smile for me?” and he said, “Yep,” in the cutest little voice ever. While talking the picture, I was thinking how tiny I thought he was, and how hard his stomach was. He looked absolutely stunning. After we took the picture, I told him that I love him, and I left. It was the best 5 seconds of my entire life. Right after I met him, we went straight into the arena, and everyone was saying congrats to me because I was crying hysterically. The concert was amazing. While Justin was on stage, I was waving my meet and greet picture, and he came so close to it, stared at him, and smiled at me. I felt like I was going to pass out. It’s true, Justin Bieber partied with naked strippers over the weekend. But, no, it is not true: Justin Bieber did not meet with the President of Mexico. The singer has been forced to backtrack on this story after originally Tweeting the following yesterday, prior to a concert at Foro Sol in Mexico City: “Just met some amazing Mexican beliebers and the president of mexico and his familia. Now its showtime. 60,000 tonight. Te amo.” So, what was the problem? Bieber never met with President Enrique Pena Nieto, a fact his office alluded to over Twitter. Apparently, Justin thought he met the President because a large group attended a meet-and-greet with the singer and they were surrounded by security and they did include some politicians.. but not the main one. “*correction. I met the presidente’s family and all their friends in the private meet and greet with security. They were very nice,” Bieber wrote to fans today as a clarification, adding overall: “A lot of things get said about me. So many things not true. And it hurts especially that people believe it. But I got all of u…I’m built for this. It’s all gonna be alright.” Biebs has two more concerts scheduled in the country and then takes off on the Australian leg of his “Believe” tour.
