Angelina Jolie Makes First Public Appearance Since Mastectomy Reveal

Angelina Jolie accompanied Brad Pitt to the London premiere of World War Z today. But what would have been a typical event in the life of these A-listers took on a different meaning because it was the star’s first public appearance since revealing to the world that she has undergone a double mastectomy . The inspiring star told Us Weekly she feels “wonderful,” adding that it’s “Brad’s night” and she was just on hand for support. But Jolie’s partner could not help but gush over his date. “I think the world of her, she is an amazing woman,” Pitt told People . “She wasn’t really nervous about coming to support me tonight, she was so moved – we were all so moved – by how much it meant to others.” Added Angelina in a few words to the BBC before going inside to screen the film: Jolie told the BBC she’s “feeling fine” and she’s grateful for all the support. “I’ve been very happy just to see the discussion about women’s health expanded and that means the world to me. After losing my mom to these issues, I’m very grateful for it and I’ve been very moved by the support from people.”

Bruno Mars’ Mother Dies of Brain Aneurysm

Very, very sad news this week for Bruno Mars: The musician’s mother, Bernadette Hernandez, died suddenly of a brain aneurysm. She was only 55 years old. A publicist for the singer’s music label confirmed that the passing took place yesterday at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu. No other details are available at this time. Hernandez was a hula dancer and a singer who immigrated from the Philippines. She helped support and nurture her son’s music interest from a young age. Our thoughts go out to Bruno and his loved ones.

5 Questions We Have for the Beyonce Booty Grabber

My name is Miriam, I’m 15 years old and I’m from Germany. I…

My name is Miriam, I’m 15 years old and I’m from Germany. I never thought one day I’d be able to write my own Bieber experience but it’s happening right now. On April 3rd I went to Believe Tour in Frankfurt, Germany and I already started the countdown 10 days before the day of the concert. I got more excited day by day and on April 2nd I kinda had a mental breakdown because I realized I was going to see my idol. The boy I’ve been supporting from 2009. My world. My hero. My life. Justin Drew Bieber. I randomly decided to check my email in the morning on April 2nd when I received a congratulations message from Bieberfever! I quickly realized I was going to meet Justin the next day. I started crying, screaming and started to run through our house. I even went outside and screamed. I decided to take my best friend Chiara (@outoftownsmg) with me and immediately called her when I got the mail. She cried with me. On April 3rd, the day of concert, I took some medicine because I was shaking the whole time and couldn’t eat or drink anything. When we arrived at the arena in Frankfurt I finally met Chiara for the first time and all my other friends from Twitter. It was amazing already. We finally got inside with the meet and greet line. I had already spotted Justin and started shaking and had to cover my mouth so I wouldn’t scream or cry. Then it was time to meet him! We went in the room and there he was. He looks like a doll but just so perfect. I stood in front of him and forgot everything around me. I didn’t see the bodyguards, the cameras, the other people inside the room. It was just Justin and me. I didn’t cry which made me proud because I didn’t want to cry in front of him. I looked at him and wanted to hug him but we weren’t allowed to so I held my hand to him and he took my hand and when I said, “Oh my God I love you so much,” he looked directly into my eyes, smiled and said, “Aw you’re so cute. I love you too.” I still can’t get over the fact that I held onto his arm and touched his muscles. We left and as soon as we went out of the room I started crying like never before. I was in complete shock and realized I really met my idol. My dad photoshopped my picture with him because I should’ve been standing next to him but another girl in my group of six was. I’m more than thankful for that day and I want to thank the Bieberfever team for making my dream come true. Justin if you’re reading this, I want to thank you for always helping me to pull through everything and to stay strong. Thank you. I love you. I can’t believe I’m finally writing my experience! I live in…

I can’t believe I’m finally writing my experience! I live in Holland, and Justin performed a concert in Belgium. I went there with my niece. We were there 9 hours before the concert, so we got to stand in the first row. It was amazing. Three days later, Justin had his concert in the Netherlands. In November I bought a Golden Circle ticket, but it was on the tribune. I was really sad about it, but I knew I had a good spot in Belgium . A few weeks before the concert in the Netherlands, I heard there were extra tickets on sale for the concert, also the meet and greet tickets. On a Wednesday at 10:00 they available online. I was refreshing the page as much as I could. At 10:02 they said the tickets were unavailable. I called my mother and I cried so hard, she said, “Keep refreshing the page! Maybe they will come!” I keep crying and refreshing, and I was in shock at 10:25 (when I just stood up to go to school), a ticket was available. I called my mother screaming and crying, “I GOT THEM! I GOT THEM!” She was so happy for me, I went to school with a big smile on my face, I just couldn’t believe I got the meet and greet tickets! After the first concert in Belgium I began to realize I was really gonna meet Justin. I couldn’t sleep or concentrate. When it was finally Saturday I couldn’t eat and I was in shock, I was so nervous. My niece and her friend were going with me, they had a ticket on the tribune. In the car I was all shaky and couldn’t concentrate on the road. When we got to the Gelredome in Arnhem, there were a lot of girls waiting outside. The people with the meet and greet tickets could go inside, and everyone was screaming at us and throwing things like drawings etc. When I got inside I started talking to a couple of girls, and we waited for 3 hours before we finally got to meet Justin. Every 5 seconds there came a girl (crying) walking past. When it was my turn, I couldn’t believe I saw Justin. It was really HIM. I stepped in and said, “Hi Justin,” and he said, “Hi gorgeous, how are you?” I thought I would pass out, but then he grabbed me and set me right for the picture. I asked if I could get a hug (you had to ask first), and he said  “Yeah sure” while he hugged me. He was perfect, his skin was all shining and he was so beautiful. When I walked out it was so unreal, I really couldn’t believe it. The concert almost began and I couldn’t find my place so I was standing by the podium. The security asked me where my place was, and I when I said I had a meet and greet 5 min ago, they said I could stay there. I was so happy, I started to cry. I was really standing first row, it was perfect. I can truly say it was the best night of my life. -@ fieekx Original post: I can’t believe I’m finally writing my experience! I live in…

Louis Tomlinson on The Wanted: So Frustrating!

The feud between One Direction and The Wanted is far from over. Over the weekend, Jay McGuiness was asked about his boy band rivals, specifically Harry Styles , and told an Australian morning show: “I think he has retained manners and a bit of dignity, [but] some of them when they mouth off, it really gets under my skin. Because it riles up loads of 14-year-old girls, [and] there’s no need for that.” The response did not sit well with Louis Tomlinson. “So frustrating when people talk the talk in the press but when it comes down to it not a word is said face to face!” the artist Tweeted. In December, an all-out Twitter war broke out between One Direction and The Wanted . Zayn Malin referred to Max George as a geek. Tomlinson told Tom Parker to “pipe down.” George said Malik has “chlamydia.” It was ugly – and awesome! – all around.

My name is Anna and I’m from Austria. The first time I saw…

My name is Anna and I’m from Austria . The first time I saw Justin on TV, I thought that he was soooo cute. This is my Bieber Experience. My best friend and I have waited for a long time for Justin to have concert in Austria. One day, I was listening to the radio and they said that Justin was coming here for the Believe Tour. I was so happy. My friend’s dad ordered the tickets for us. Since that moment, we were both happy every single day until the show came. Finally the day arrived on March 30, 2013. When the concert started I was having so much fun. I just enjoyed every second of it. In front of me there was a lot of security guards. Suddenly, I saw a woman walking around for a couple of minutes. Then I saw the same woman right in front of me. She asked, “How old are you?” “15” I said. Then she said, “Do you wanna be the One Less Loneley Girl?” OMG. I couldn’t believe it was happening to me. I said, “YES, OMG, YES OF COURSE!” I was so shocked, happy, and it was unbelievable. Security took me over the fence, and Jenn took me behind the stage. They gave me a t-shirt and then Kenny came. I asked him if I could have picture with him, so we took one quickly. I was waiting behind the curtain until the dancers came and they were holding my crown. My stomach was hurting so much of excitement, and my heart was beating so fast. Then the curtain started moving, and the dancers took me onto the stage. I could barely breathe. I saw Justin and he looked at me. I’ll never forget that feeling. He lifted his hand and touched my hair and my face. When the song ended he asked my name and I replied with “Anna.” We then walked together to the backstage area and everything was over. This was the best day of my whole life. Next time he comes to Austria I’m definitely buying M&G tickets. Never say never, and believe in your dreams! -Anna (@annapayer3) Go here to see the original: My name is Anna and I’m from Austria. The first time I saw…
