Watch Lord Voldemort Curse Harry Potter In ‘Deathly Hallows’ Exclusive

Fans got a glimpse of one of the franchise’s most-anticipated scenes during MTV Movie Awards. By Terri Schwartz Daniel Radcliffe in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2” The end of the “Harry Potter” franchise comes to one kind of end on July 15, but it all ended in a different way on Sunday night (June 5), when an exclusive clip from “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2” that aired during the 2011 MTV Movie Awards . Part of the seen should already be familiar since it appears in the first “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” full-length trailer that came out last year: Harry Potter walks through the Forbidden Forest to be killed by Voldemort. “The boy who lives,” He Who Must Not Be Named says, “come to die.” But that was merely a tease for the full clip that fans saw during the Movie Awards, where “Part 1” was up for six Golden Popcorns. Voldemort’s head turns as the scene reveals that Harry is walking toward him. Hagrid, in chains being held by Voldemort’s Death Eaters, yells out for Harry to stop, but it is too late. After He Who Must Not Be Names says that familiar line, “The boy who lives … come to die,” he casts the most unforgivable spell in the wizarding world, Avada Kedavra, at Harry. Arguably the coolest part of the clip comes at its end, when a long shot of the confrontation shows the killing curse coming out from Voldemort’s wand and hitting Harry square in the chest. The clip ends there, and then transitions into another one of the most-anticipated scenes in the film (don’t worry “Potter” newbies, we won’t spoil it). For fans, it was a welcome surprise to see Hagrid, who has been notably absent from the previously released “Potter” trailers and TV spots, as will as to see the first of the movie’s many showdowns between villain and hero. There’s plenty of excitement to look forward to once “Deathly Hallows: Part 2” hits theaters July 15, from Harry, Ron and Hermione’s break-in at Gringotts to the showdown in the Room of Requirement to the reveal of Snape’s big secret. But at the center of this story is the conflict between Voldemort and Harry. It’s fitting that the last exclusive “Potter” clip that will ever be aired at the MTV Movie Awards highlights that relationship and everything that comes along with it. Do you know where the kid are?

Original post:

If not, it could cost you in Jonesboro. The Jonesboro city council unanimously approved a curfew for teenagers,16-years old and younger, which will make parents accountable. The curfew applies after 11 pm to kids out without adult supervision. The city’s municipal court judge has yet to determine the amount of the fine. Jonesboro Mayor, Luther Maddox says police have been getting more complaints about teenagers walking the streets at “all hours of the night.” Maddox believes this curfew will help limit teen late-night activity as spring approaches and night temperatures go up.  By the way, there is a state curfew. Under the state law, if a child violates curfew, police will take them to a juvenile facility and the parents would be called to get them. The Jonesboro law will require parents pay a fine as well.

Pure Comedy Or Irony?: Bank Robber Takes Hostage, Slips And Falls On Ice, Then Is Shot & Killed By Cops [Video]

Police shot and killed a suspected bank robber trying to escape with a female hostage Friday after he stumbled in a pile of snow from this week’s storm and the woman slipped away. When the man walked out of the Capital One bank branch in a Washington suburb, he was holding a gun to the bank teller’s head and was using her as a shield. The suspect also had a fake bomb taped to his body, police said. Officers were already outside the bank as the suspect walked out, and the confrontation unfolded on television with a helicopter camera hovering overhead. Video shows him backing away from police with the woman when the suspect tripped over a pile of snow from Wednesday’s storm. The woman ran away from the suspect toward police and held her hands up to cover her ears. Gunfire erupted shortly afterward. Takoma Park Police Chief Ronald Ricucci said the suspect was killed. “From our point of view, it looks like it was a successful resolution,” said Prince George’s County police Maj. Andy Ellis, adding that three of his officers fired at the suspect. “Things were changing very quickly, and the officers had to make split-second decisions.” Montgomery County Police Chief Thomas Manger said the robbery was unusual because the suspect appeared to have a bomb, as well as a hostage, and because officers reached the scene so quickly that the situation was still unfolding. Police from at least three jurisdictions responded to the scene because Takoma Park is near the border of Montgomery and Prince George’s counties. The city also has its own police force. Besides the device that looked like a bomb strapped to the suspect, a suspicious device also was reported inside the bank. Both ended up being plastic foam when checked by a bomb squad, police said. But the potential for an explosion affected the response by police officers, Ellis said. At least three people were treated for injuries that were not life-threatening. A police officer was grazed in the leg by a bullet. One person was pistol-whipped — the woman whom the suspect later used as a shield — and another person was treated for shock, police said. Bill Benjamin, who witnessed the incident from a nearby store, told FOX 5 that he had walked outside to take out the trash. He said he heard three quick shots fired and saw police chase down the suspect. Herschel Ivy, who saw the incident from across the street, told FOX 5 that he saw the suspect’s hands go up when shots were fired. Ivy said he heard seven or eight gunshots fired as the hostage ran toward police. “She ran directly through the cordon of police officers,” Ivy said. “You couldn’t tell if they were firing from the left or from the right.”

Did Lindsay Lohan Accuser Break the Law By Revealing Privileged Information

Dawn Holland was already fired by the Betty Ford Center for talking about her melee with Lindsay Lohan to the media. Might criminal charges be next? She is accused of selling documents and an interview about her fight with Lindsay to celebrity gossip site TMZ for at least $10,000 before she got fired. For most people, this would be shady behavior, but legally a non-issue. The fact that she’s a health care worker could land her in big trouble, though. The cash-for-comment scandal could be considered a violation of HIPAA laws and lead to criminal probes into both Dawn Holland and TMZ. In an (unpaid) interview with Radar Online , Holland said she had not yet decided whether she would legally challenge her sudden dismissal. “I’m not quite sure [what my next step is]… I’m working on that,” she said. As for what TMZ paid her? “I’m not going to say (how much).” Asked if “it was somewhere between $10,000 and $15,000,” she “If I give you a ballpark then… well, then… yeah (it was between that).” In a statement released Tuesday, Betty Ford said: “Regrettably, on December 21, one of our employees violated strict confidentiality guidelines and laws by publicly identifying patients in a media interview and by disclosing a privileged document.” “The employee has been terminated by the Betty Ford Center.” Holland was fired in the aftermath of the confrontation with Lohan, who returned to her sober house after her curfew back on December 12. The two parties’ accounts of what transpired differ greatly, but it’s clear that the altercation was physical and that the police were notified. TMZ said Holland spoke “because the story was already out there, Lindsay was publicly trashing her and Betty Ford did not have her back.” It will be interesting to see how this plays out in terms of the battery allegation against Lindsay and the accusations against Holland. As the Lohan Saga Turns …

Alex Welch Details Attack by Demi Lovato, Decrees Lack of Apology

Days after photos of the bruises she suffered at the hands of Demi Lovato surfaced, Alex Welch is speaking out about the early November incident between her and that famous singer. While sitting on a plane with Demi, The Jonas Brothers and others related to that tour, the 21-year dancer says she was punched in the face by Lovato, who suspected Alex of ratting out her partying actions from the previous evening. “She walks up and punches me and literally walked away and got in her seat,” Welch tells People , adding that she didn’t tattle on anyone. “No one should do that and brush it over, it’s not right.” Lovato entered rehab immediately following this confrontation, but has not reached out to Welch about it. “To this day, I haven’t gotten an apology. I’ve heard nothing,” the dancer says . “That’s sad if you think that person is your friend.” A source close to Demi says this is just a matter of logistics, based on where Demi has been residing for the last five weeks: a treatment facility. “Demi hasn’t been able to call Alex because she is sequestered in treatment, but multiple efforts have been made to reach out to her,” says the insider. Reps for both side, meanwhile, acknowledge that there’s been contact between attorneys. Confirms a spokesperson for Lovato: “We are in the process of engaging with Alex’s lawyer and hope to resolve this as quickly as possible.”

‘World of Jenks’ Star Recalls Fighting, Making Up With Maino

‘Literally after that fight, we were cracking up,’ Andrew Jenks says of tense moment with the rapper. By Nuzhat Naoreen “World of Jenks” star Andrew Jenks Photo: MTV News There aren’t too many people who can boast about getting to live a day in the life of a rap star … or, for that matter, getting attacked by one. In the debut episode of his new show, ” World of Jenks ,” which aired right after the 2010 Video Music Awards on Sunday, star Andrew Jenks got to experience both. In the premiere of the documentary-style series, . He moves in with him, parties with him and even meets his son. Everything goes smoothly, until a night out when Jenks starts questioning Maino about some of his life choices. Maino doesn’t take too kindly to the questions, and things quickly get heated. Jenks talked to MTV News about why he thinks Maino attacked him and how the two got over the fight. “When I was spending time with Maino and before I had really gotten to know him, really understood his entire story, I was starting to judge him unfairly, thinking that maybe he wasn’t being the best example he could be to a lot of the youth that looked up to him,” said Jenks. “I think he got really offended by that because I didn’t know where he came from. I didn’t know the struggle of his life and I didn’t know why he acted the way that he did.” Jenks said the confrontation was beneficial, in that it led him to realize that there was a lot more about Maino’s life he needed to experience. But that doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt. “He’s big,” Jenks said. “People don’t realize Maino is a big guy, so it hurt. If you look after he choked me a little bit, you see my neck is really red because he is a forceful man.” Even though it was a rough moment, the two soon made up. “I developed enough of a relationship with him at that point where I knew it was a scuffle, it was late at night and that we would get over it,” he explained. In fact, the two ended up partying together for the rest of the night. “Literally after that fight, we were cracking up. We hung out that night [and] it was just like, it was a heated moment and we both came to an agreement that I needed to see where he was from and we carried on with the night,” said Jenks, adding that no apologies were necessary. “You know, it was kind of like we’re two dudes; we don’t need to talk about it. We already decided I’m going to go see where you’re from and that will be the best way to reconcile what just happened.” Jenks also shared that Maino caught the program before it aired and loved it. “I showed him the episode a few days ago, and we were at a restaurant. It was funny because it was this really quiet restaurant, and it was, like, very nice. Everyone was quietly eating their dinner. And he was like, ‘Yo, can I see the episode?’ And I had my laptop, so I took it out, and he put on headphones and he was watching it and he was just like, ‘Ohh! Oh, wow!’ He was just yelling in the middle of this restaurant going, ‘Ah sh–, Jenks, that was crazy,’ like, ‘I can’t believe you got that.’ ” The reaction was just what Jenks was looking for. “At the end [Maino] was like, ‘That was me, that’s my life, you got it in 20 minutes.’ That was just a weight off my shoulders, because I felt like we really accomplished something and that the guy we were following said, ‘You got it, man. That’s my life right there. You depicted it.’ ” ” World of Jenks ” airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on MTV. You’ve gotta love reality TV. On Monday night, Bravo aired an epic fight between Danielle Staub and Teresa Giudice. MTV Movie Awards Should Have Brawls And Nudity, Host Aziz Ansari Says

‘Like Ronnie from ‘Jersey Shore,’ he’s not going to be at the Oscars,’ the host says of limitless comic opportunities. By : Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Tim Kash Aziz Ansari Photo: Sohyung Kang/ MTV News If Aziz Ansari were running the 2010 MTV Movie Awards , some of the highlights from the show would include a fistfight between a Hollywood superstar and a reality show mover-and-shaker, and a certain A-List star whipping out his manhood in front of millions of viewers. Come to think of it, Aziz basically is in charge, as host of this year’s awards show. So, yeah, things could get a bit insane on Sunday, when it airs live at 9 p.m. ET/PT. You’ll just have to tune in to see what the 27-year-old comedian delivers. As he told MTV News, his wish list is a ridiculous and amazing mix of celeb pranks, brawls and more than a few moments that are definitely not safe for the airwaves. For one nutty example, Aziz is pulling for a throwdown between Johnny Depp and Ronnie from the “Jersey Shore” — and that’s just the sort of thing that makes the show great. “There’s the biggest movie stars in the world and then people that are famous for saying ‘bro’ a lot,” Aziz explained. “I mean, those people are not going to be at other awards shows. Like Ronnie from ‘Jersey Shore,’ he’s not going to be at the Oscars. He’s at the MTV Movie Awards, and he’ll probably do something dumb, like, he’ll go and punch Johnny Depp in the face or something. ‘Yo bro, you were looking at me weird,’ ” he imagined Ronnie saying in the confrontation. “That’s what’s fun about this show.” A lot of the fun last year, of course, centered around Eminem and Br
