Royal Baby Boy Arrives, Twitter Reacts With Joy, Humor

A healthy eight-pound, six-ounce boy born at 4:24 p.m. at St. Mary’s Hospital in London today doesn’t even have a name yet, but he needs no introduction. He’s the Royal Baby, people. A few hours ago, Kate Middleton gave birth to HRH Prince of Cambridge and future heir to the throne! Bow down! The first child of Kate and Prince William is instantly third in British line of succession, behind William and his father Prince Charles (sorry Harry). The British royals aren’t the only ones celebrating Kate Middleton and Prince William’s new addition. Celebrities on both sides of the Atlantic are ecstatic. Jimmy Kimmel and Molly McNearney: Married!

Jimmy Kimmel is a married man once again after he and longtime love Molly McNearney said “I do” in a star-studded wedding in Ojai, Calif., on Saturday. McNearney, a co-head writer on Jimmy Kimmel Live , walked down the aisle with her father. At the end of the ceremony, they exited to “My Sweet Lord.” All told, there were around 300 guests, among them: Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Matt Damon, Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski. Dating since the summer of 2009, Kimmel proposed to Molly McNearney while on vacation in South Africa’s Kruger National Forest last August. This is the first marriage for McNearney and the second for Kimmel, who split from his first wife Gina, the mother of his two kids, after 14 years in 2002. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Nowadays you don’t see many young black couples that have this much history invested together. That said, we felt it was only right to take the time out and recognize them for keeping their isht together in a time when slores and dirty dogs roam freely in these savage relationship lands. Restaurant Owner Posts Sign Discouraging Racist Customers From Entering A black restaurant owner in Europe says she’s had enough of racist customers who come in and act startled to see a black person running the business. In response, she’s now posted a sign near the restaurant entrance that gives unsuspecting, racist customers a rude awakening right from the door. via BBC News A cafe owner has put up a sign telling customers she is black because she is fed up with people walking out when they see the colour of her skin. The sign on the door of Yeanon Cafe in Ossett, West Yorkshire, reads: “I am a black woman… If you are allergic to black people, don’t come in.” Martha-Renee Kolleh said some people “take a look at me and walk out”. Local councillor Tony Richardson said he was “shocked” as he did not believe racism was widespread in the town. A spokesman for Wakefield Council said it was “obviously concerned” by the issue which it had not been made aware of before. “I would urge the business involved to get in touch with us as soon as possible,” the spokesman added. “Some people find it amusing, they were laughing and said ‘oh yes it’s about time you put that up’, so I think they all realise what’s going on here,” she said. “And some others just read it and walk away. I’ve heard one or two swear words as well regarding the notice.” The single mother-of-three has run the cafe for two years, serving a mixture of British, African and Caribbean food. Good for her. News has learned that Halle Berry is getting married to fiancé Olivier Martinez this weekend!  The happy couple was spotted leaving LAX earlier today, with Berry’s daughter Nahla in tow. While the Oscar winner has remained fairly quiet about her upcoming wedding plans, she did reveal to InStyle magazine last year that she’s put some thought into the ceremony. “I do know it will be very small,” she told the mag when asked about her ideal aisle trip. “I haven’t been to many weddings, but I went to one this weekend with 250 guests. I thought, Wow—so this is a wedding, huh? I’ve never had that, nor have I wanted that. I wasn’t even trying to catch the bouquet!” Berry, who originally claimed that she’d never tie the knot again, revealed that she was surprised to find herself engaged to the hunky French actor. “Who knew?!” the actress told Extra this past weekend, pleasantly shocked that she’ll be taking the plunge again.  ”I swore it off, right? Never say never, people!” This marks the third marriage for Berry, who previously tied the knot to David Justice in 1993 and singer Eric Benét in 2001. Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne are now officially husband and wife. The musicians wed Saturday in Cannes, France, in a “very intimate affair” by an insider. It’s the second marriage for Avril, 28, and the first for Chad, 38. The “Here’s To Never Growing Up” singer wore a Johanna Johnson custom-made dress, Us reports, with her gay best friend serving as her maid of honor. The Canadian couple announced their engagement in August 2012. Few, if anyone, knew they were even together at the time. As for their wedding song? The couple hinted that it would be a new track that they wrote together. “We’ll have to release it after,” she said this spring. Chad, of course, is the longtime frontman of Nickelback. Congratulations to the happy newlyweds!
