The fallout from this weekend’s tragic shooting at the Cincinnati Zoo continues. As previously documented, and as depicted in the video below, a four-year old boy fell into the gorilla enclosure at this famous facility on Saturday, May 28. After the gigantic animals grabbed hold of the boy and started thrashing him about, officials were left with no choice but to have an employee fatally shoot the gorilla, who was 17 years old and named Harambe. Was the animal protecting the toddler? Hurting him? About to cause him real harm? Debate has raged all over the Internet in regard to the incident, with critics wondering why the zoo could not simply use a tranquilizer on the gorilla. Others have placed the blame squarely at the feet of the boy’s parents, specifically his mother, Michelle Gregg. In response to the criticism she has received online, Gregg posted (and then deleted) a Facebook message that referred to the situation as an “accident” and which thanked God for keeping her son safe . The longtime couple married in Dunblane Cathedral in his hometown of Dunblane, Scotland. The duo began dating in 2005 and got engaged in November. Andy Murray, 27, was seen arriving to the church dressed in a formal kilt. He was accompanied by his brother and fellow tennis pro Jamie Murray, also kilted. As the Game of Thrones universe expands more and more with each season, new characters are introduced at a breakneck rate. While many shows would struggle with the task of juggling so many unique identities, GoT’s writing staff and casting department take the pains necessary to develop the denizens of Westeros into living, breathing, feeling men and women who make the unique struggles of their outlandish world relatable by revealing their humanity to the audience. Then, of course, they get their heads crushed by eight-foot human killing machines. Yes, sadly, many of the characters we fall in love with each season won’t make it to the finale, but that just makes our connection to them that much stronger. Most shows wouldn’t bother developing a fully-realized character who serves as the story’s moral compass only to chop his head off in season one , but George R.R. Martin is a sadistic SOB, and now he’s got two equally depraved showrunners to do his bidding. Jill Duggar’s pregnancy timeline has raised some interesting questions, but the math that allegedly “proves” she had sex before marriage is just wrong. The speculation began because of the most recent Jill Duggar baby bump photo, in which she holds a sign proclaiming #BabyDilly is 13 weeks and a day old. Jill married Derick Dillard June 21 in Springdale, Ark, and a little over two months later, the duo announced they are expecting their first child together. No question about it, that was extremely quick … but they didn’t conceive before they tied the knot. Heck, they didn’t even kiss, as per the courtship rules. With this documented so thoroughly on TV (which you know if you watch 19 Kids and Counting online ), why is anyone even doubting Jill on this subject? Because 13 weeks and one day along (or 93 days), but her three days ahead of the amount of time she’s been married, or 90 days from the photo date. It’s not that simple, of course, and we’ll explain why … When it comes to calculating conception, the counting begins not from the date of sexual intercourse, but the first day of one’s last normal menstrual period. In other words, like two weeks before a child is conceived. So while Jill and Derick wasted no time getting it on after they tied the knot, they totes held off. If Jill’s last period started 13 weeks and one day ago, she and Derick likely made the littlest Duggar about 11 weeks ago, at the end of June or early July. It is calculated this way because it is often difficult to pinpoint the exact date a woman conceives, but the first date of her last period is much easier to pin down. From there, tack on 40 weeks, or 280 days, and you’ve got a due date. So look for the already hashtagged #BabyDilly to come along about mid-March.
