A Florida woman is suing a popular massage parlor chain for refusing to provide her with services because of her HIV positive status. Alecia Tramel was visiting a Massage Envy in Aventura for her monthly massage and when she was asked about her medical history things went left. Text “RICKEY” to 71007 to join the Rickey Smiley Morning Show mobile club for exclusive news. ( Terms and conditions ). She asked me, ‘Do you have any medical conditions?’ I say, ‘I’m HIV positive.’ She said, ‘Get undressed to your underwear, get on the table and cover up,’ and she leaves out of the room,” Tramel told Florida’s Local 10 News. Tramel said an employee returned and told her, “We will not be able to provide you with a service because you need a doctor’s consent.” “(The) first time in 19 years I feel devastated, but instead of it making me want to crawl under a rock, it fueled me,” Tramel said about the experience. SEE ALSO: Over A Hundred Women Come Forward Stating They Were Allegedly Sexually Assaulted At Massage Envy Tramel is now filling a lawsuit against the owners of the franchise. “You can’t discriminate in the provision of services, public accommodations, which Massage Envy is,” Tramel’s lawyer Courtney Cunningham said. “You can’t discriminate in providing services to people who are HIV positive just because they are HIV positive.” Tramel, who was diagnosed in 2000, said she was shocked that she was discriminated against. “I went to the car, sat in the car, and I said, ‘This is what it feels like.’ I think I was numb. I felt pain, isolation and fear from a place I went to get a service.” Tramel added that she is also symptom-free, so there were no grounds to be concerned about her physical health or getting a doctor’s note. According to TMZ , Kim Kardashian-West spoke with Rodney Reed from death row just last week to discuss his scheduled execution. According to West there are new witnesses and evidence to exonerate Reed, and implicate the real killer, which according to West is more than enough evidence to request a stay. Reed was convicted for the murder of Stacey Stites in Bastrop, Texas; where cops claimed he raped, assaulted and strangled her to death. Despite lacking evidence and recently surfaced confessions, Reed was sentenced to death, although he has maintained his innocence for over 20 years. We’re so glad you have publicly voiced that you also believe he is innocent.” Supports of Reed have been rallying for his release after a man named Arthur Snow reportedly filed a statement alleging that Stites’ fiancé confessed to him that he killed her for cheating on him when they served time together, the site states. Stites’ fiancé, however, has denied the claim. Snow says they were both in the Aryan Brotherhood in prison. Kardashian is reportedly working hard to provide legal help to Reed, who is scheduled to be executed on Nov. 20.

CNN reports that an unnamed Milpitas High School teacher donned blackface to portray rapper Common for Halloween. The costume consisted of a turtleneck and black jacket and the teacher rapping lyrics like, “Opportunities limitless, possibilities senseless, what will you do? Millions of people, not enough to eat, what will we do? With AI, Microsoft technology, the future is up to you, you can do it. With AI. The future will blow your mind!” A video went viral of the costume and immediate action was taken. Milpitas High’s Principal Francis Rojas and MUSD Superintendent Cheryl Jordan said in a statement that the teacher, who has not been named, was suspended and now is under investigation for the “disparaging” act. “In a school community where we welcome learners and families from over 50 languages who represent cultures and religions throughout the world, and where our long-standing neighborhood, Sunnyhills, was established as the first city in the nation for planned integration, it hurts to know that this type of cultural insensitivity and lack of cultural awareness still hovers in the background,” reads the statement given to CNN. Not exactly the best way to jog everyone’s memory about your rap career. According to TMZ , Zoe got popped early Sunday morning (Nov. 3) in Monroe County, Florida after cops were summoned to La Siesta Resort by security. They say Zoe got into a physical altercation with a woman on his hotel room balcony. According to the police report, the former Boyz N Da Hood rapper was seen trying to shove the woman back into the hotel room, eventually knocking her to the ground. However, she managed to lock him out on the balcony while she was in the room. But this is only the start of the struggle. Zoe reportedly began kicking and punching the door, and the woman eventually let him back in. By this time the police arrived and witnessed the rapper “pinning his girlfriend” to the ground. And this is where the struggle expands exponentially. After the cops separated the not so happy couple, she reportedly began defending Zoe. She allegedly claimed they always argue when they drink. The Atlanta-based rapper is currently awaiting a court date to resolve his status and ability to travel abroad but at the moment isn’t allowed to leave the United States to do one of the more financially significant portions of his profession. TMZ reports : As TMZ reported … Savage was arrested in Atlanta back in February and placed in ICE custody. Turns out he entered the U.S. legally from the UK back in 2005, but his visa expired and he’s been here illegally for years. The rapper wasn’t even able to get a work permit for 8 months, which meant he couldn’t work domestically. He finally got one last month, so at least now he can work in the U.S. … but traveling out of the country is out of the question until he gets things cleared up with immigration. The outlet adds that immigration courts in Atlanta have been besieged by a record number of cases, causing an effectual logjam of sorts.
