Source: Pool / Getty R. Kelly will at least be in jail until his 2020 trial after an attempt to go free on bail was shot down by a Brooklyn federal judge on Wednesday (October 2). The troubled R&B star’s legal team filed a motion on Monda y (September 30) stating that Kelly was in poor financial shape and not a flight risk but the judge in the case detected a bit of b.s. in the air. As reported by the New York Daily News , Federal Justice Ann M. Donnelly sided with the prosecution’s assessment that Kelly was indeed a flight risk and that home detention was too lenient a move considering the mountain of charges he faces and an alleged history of obstructing justice in his favor. Kelly’s defense attorney Steven Greenberg has said several times in court that his client is cash-strapped and suffering from alleged health woes. Adding to that, Kelly is only allowed one visitor at a time which has caused a bottleneck of visitation between his two girlfriends, Azriel Clary and Joycelyn Savage. The prosecution presented bail hearing charges that Kelly has been hiding massive royalty checks numbering to an amount near to $1 million and funneling the funds through the bank account of a childhood friend. Throughout the bizarre ordeal of his never-ending legal troubles, it’s been widely assumed that Tekashi69 plans to enter witness protection the moment he’s released from prison. After all, Tekashi’s freedom comes at a steep price, as his sentence is likely to be dramatically reduced as a result of his decision to testify against members of the Nine Trey Bloods gang , of which he was formerly a member. You don’t need to be studied up on the Nine Treys’ bylaws to know that snitching is not something they look kindly on. For weeks, Twitter has delighted in memes about Tekashi — whose real name is Daniel Hernandez — covering his facial tattoos in concealer and disappearing in rural Arkansas. But shockingly, it seems the rapper has no intention of attempting a disappearing act. In fact, it looks as though Mr. 69 is planning to resume his life in the spotlight as soon as he’s sprung from federal prison. According to a new report from TMZ, “Tekashi believes him testifying against his old crew will be forgotten almost instantly as soon as he’s released from prison — and he also thinks he’ll be more popular than ever with the masses.” Yes, in what may well turn out to be a fatally bad idea, Tekashi is not just refusing to hide from his former gangmates, he’s openly taunting them. “He thinks that anyone in the rap game who’s spoken ill of him since this whole legal ordeal began are not only envious, but threatened by him … afraid that he’ll pass ’em up and leave ’em in the dust when he gets out and starts making hits again,” TMZ reports. Mind you, this is the same gang that already kidnapped Tekashi and threatened to kill him once. And that was before he took the stand against them. In exchange for a much lighter sentence (at one point, it looked like he might remain behind bars for the rest of his life) Hernandez provided two days testified in the trial of Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack and Anthony “Harv” Ellison last month. Not only did he identify Mack and Ellison as members of the Nine Treys, Tekashi also claimed that rapper Cardi B was a member of the gang . Sounds like the makings of a Hollywood movie, right? Well, apparently that’s what 50 Cent thought, too. According to the latest from TMZ, 50 has purchased the rights to 69’s story with plans to turn it into a feature film. So we guess that’s good news for Tekashi. We just wish he weren’t in such a hurry to write an ending to his life story.

A 46-year-old Italian tennis umpire has been “suspended” for making highly inappropriate sexual comments toward a 16-year-old girl during a match according to a CNN report. Gianluca Moscarella can be seen harassing the teen girl last week at a match between Pedro Sousa and Enrico Dalla Valle in Florence. “You are fantastic,” he could be overheard saying, according to a video circulating online. “Very sexy.” After the next set, he continues: “Are you OK? Robbers Caught Stealing 400 Pairs Of Underwear From Victoria Secret We’re use to seeing folks rob gas stations, or sneaker stores — but it’s been a while since folks were caught swiping undies from Victoria Secret. Evesham police are on the hunt for two men and one woman who stole about 400 pairs of underwear from a Victoria’s Secret store last week. According to authorities, one acted as a lookout, the other two loaded a large blue Xios shopping bag with $4,200 in undergarments. NBC News reports: The New Jersey theft happened around 7:32 p.m. on Sept. 25, the police department said. The woman repeatedly reaches into a drawer underneath one of the displays and dumps handfuls of underwear into the bag. Then, before leaving, she and the first man take the underwear from the display, too. Police believe the trio also shoplifted from Victoria’s Secret stores in Yonkers and Queens, New York. SMH, wow. Evesham police is asking anyone with information to contact them.

When Microsoft and Nintendo came together to allow Fornite players to come together, everyone started looking at PlayStation wondering when they will join in. It seems like that time is now. PlayStation was reluctantly forced into cross-play after gamers made a big stink about not initially being allowed to play with Switch and Xbox One owners. Since then the idea of cross-play was, for the most part, in beta mode with its most significant test being during Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s recent beta. It would seem the folks at PlayStation were pleased with the results and have officially decided to play nice with Switch and Xbox One owners. Sony hasn’t confirmed the news themselves, but in a post from Wired , they elude that Modern Warfare is Sony’s first official foray into the world of cross-play. When it officially launches later this month, the re-imagined version of the iconic first-person shooter will take the feature out its beta mode. So fans, of games like Rocket League and as mentioned above Fortnite who loathed the idea of having to ditch their PS4 console’s to play with friends will no longer have to. Tha’s not the only big news revolving around PlayStation. Sony also announced a significate price cut to it’s PlayStation Now subscription service. The monthly service dropped from $20 to $10 with the annual falling from $100 to $60. The lineup was also bolstered with the addition fo PlayStation exclusives God of War , Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End , Infamous: Second Son , plus Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto V . It would seem like Sony is looking to close out the year strong with the PlayStation 4 and at the same time grown its PlayStation Now service which has 700,000 subscribers at this moment. The former cop was just handed down a 10-year sentence by a Dallas jury after hearing character witnesses from both sides and deliberating. Her victim Botham Jean’s friends and family told the jury he was a “natural leader” and added that his 28th birthday would’ve been this Sunday. “My life has not been the same,” Botham’s mom Allison Jean told the jury. ““It’s just been like a roller coaster. I can’t sleep, I cannot eat. It’s just been the most terrible time for me.” Guyger was facing anywhere between 5 years to a life sentence. This isn’t the outcome we hoped for at all.
