I remember a time when people pretended they didn’t smoke weed, and if they were caught smoking weed, the tabloids would go nuts, because weed is illegal and smoking it is such a scandal, worth talking about… I guess the world has lightened the fuck up and realized who gives a fuck about weed and the people who smoke it… The fact it is illegal, while cigarettes and booze and prescription pills are legal, is just fucking insanity and represents the corruption of society and just how free we actually are…. Not to mention, everyone from Politicians to your mom and dad smoke it. So I’m glad people like Rihanna are weed-heads and not ashamed of promoting it, you know putting herself out there for the world to judge, partially because I care about her plight, and her activism, but mainline because I want to fuck her face…and then her wallet.
Maybe these guys are some of Ricky Rozay’s BFF’s Atlanta Police Arrested In Drug Dealer Protection Investigation Via AJC Federal authorities announced the arrest of 10 metro law enforcement officers Tuesday on charges of arranging protection for a street gang’s drug deals. “Obviously the breadth of the corruption is very troubling,” said U.S. Attorney Sally Yates . “It is certainly the most (officers) this office has charged in a long time.” The case began as a street gang investigation by the federal bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, whose undercover agents learned that gangs had officers on the payroll for protection, Yates said. The FBI took command of the public corruption aspects of the case. At least one officer recommended that the gang use a school parking lot to exchange drugs for cash because trading backpacks there would not look suspicious, Yates said at a 2 p.m. news conference. The law enforcement officers arrested today were: Atlanta Police Department Officer Kelvin Allen, 42, of Atlanta; DeKalb County Police Department Officers Dennis Duren, 32, of Atlanta and Dorian Williams, 25, of Stone Mountain, Georgia; Forest Park Police Department Sergeants Victor Middlebrook, 44, of Jonesboro, Georgia and Andrew Monroe, 57, of Riverdale, Georgia; MARTA Police Department Officer Marquez Holmes, 45, of Jonesboro, Georgia; Stone Mountain Police Department Officer Denoris Carter, 42, of Lithonia, Georgia, and contract Federal Protective Services Officer Sharon Peters, 43, of Lithonia, Georgia. Agents also arrested two former law enforcement officers: former DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office jail officers Monyette McLaurin, 37, of Atlanta, and Chase Valentine, 44, of Covington, Georgia. The report goes on to say… Some of the officers were retired and some were active duty. The highest rank was sergeant and the payoffs ranged as high as $7,000 per transaction. Each transaction involved at least five kilograms of white girl, which carries a 10 year minimum sentence, Yates said. Officers were involved in multiple transactions, provided escorts to dealers and buyers and offered to provided muscle if necessary to protect their clients, Yates said. Yates said the investigation is ongoing and declined to say whether more officers would be arrested. ATF Special Agent in Charge Scott Sweetow would not name the street gang involved but he suggested the public corruption aspects would be more far-ranging. “I can say this is probably not the last you will be hearing of this case,” he said. Exciting news for fans of Orson Scott Card’s sci-fi series Ender’s Game : Harrison Ford has officially joined the cast as Hyrum Graff, the manipulative colonel responsible for training students in a futuristic military academy called Battle School. Harrison joins fellow cast members Abigail Breslin, Hailee Steinfeld and Asa Butterfield, who will star as Ender, a gifted strategist hired by the government to help combat an alien race in the film adaptation from Wolverine director Gavin Hood . Breslin will play Ender’s older sister and Steinfeld will assume the role of Petra Arkanian, Ender’s trusted confidante and mentor. The expected blockbuster is slated for a 2013 release. What a momentous week for Ralph Fiennes — the august British thespian turns 49 today and lands at No. 7 on my list of the year’s best performances , therefore knocking Elizabeth Olsen out of the top 10 — ouch! Let’s keep his parade of good times rolling with a quick debate over his best onscreen moment. I dare you to disagree with mine. I’m of the opinion that Ralph Fiennes’s towering work as the odious Amon Goeth in Schindler’s List deserved an Oscar over Tommy Lee Jones in The Fugitive , but I’ll save that furious monologue for another day. My single favorite Fiennes moment is in Quiz Show , Robert Redford’s keenly observed morality tale set against the corruption of the game show cheating scandals of the 1950s. It presents with one alluring and conflicted character in lecturer-turned-liar Charles Van Doren (Fiennes), who eats up his stage time with gusto. Just fabulous. Start at the 4:00 mark, after competitor Herbert Stempel (John Turturro) takes a dive on the easiest Oscar question. If only Movieline writers were eligible to play Twenty-One in the ’50s — we’d rack up points and snappy retorts by the dozen. Have a different choice. The Constant Gardener ? Schindler’s List ? By evening, however, the pain from not being able to move was unbearable, the anxiety and fear inconsolable. Rather than have her husband Paul give her a few drops of cherry-flavored liquid morphine, the Egg Harbor Township resident instead asked that he light her pipe with medical grade marijuana. Almost instantly, she said, the pain dissipated, her anxiety gone and she felt the will to live come back. Today, if everything occurs as expected, Diane Riportella will hear that the state Senate passed a resolution that could be the last hurdle in legalizing medical marijuana in New Jersey. Vladimir Putin says that America is one to lecture others about “Democracy”. In a report from RT news this report about the response from Putin over American criticism of his country. In another report, one leaked document has led to a firestorm as Moscow now demands an explanation for revelations that a planned covert action was planned by the US towards Russia. Could it be that these documents are going to cut short America's Imperial Ambitions as the public in other countries begin to see that America is about corporate corruption and money and greed and projection of power, America will loose a major part of their credibility and ability to project that power…even though they have such massive military spending in comparison to the other state actors in the world. The pressure exerted by America seeking to remain the world's sole hegemonic power is that it forces all the allies to consider teaming up to form another alliance. The whole secrecy of international policy or foreign policy in the US is what propels the corruption of corporate power and for a long time it has served as a way for the US to brand “America” like a product and sell the “idea” to the people of the world that it is the “shinning city on the hill that will bring justice to mankind….etc”, but people weigh this in their minds against what they actually see what America does and now the revelations of corporate influence in the wars in Africa, its amazing that people can't see that Wikileaks serves a higher purpose, regardless of what you think about the media image of Julian Assange. This information that gets released can serve as a great equalizer and ensure that no one country has the power to dominate the entire world, for such to allow such a power to exist threatens the entire human race. We know for a fact that most of these government “professional managers” are there to fill their own pockets and that corruption is at the highest levels and trickles down all the way to its underbelly.
