Teen Mom 2’s Jenelle Evans is constantly making headlines for stressful situations related to her children, and this one is no exception. Already the mother of two little boys and currently pregnant with a little girl, the Carolina Hurrican is constantly in and out of courtrooms. To wit, she’s currently battling Nathan Griffith for custody over her younger son, Kaiser, following a recent string of alarming allegations. Wild allegations between Jenelle and Nathan, who were once engaged, have been traded, and heated, since their split last summer. Shortly after they split, Griffith returned to the resident they shared with his new girlfriend; Evans was arrested for assaulting Jessica Henry . Jenelle was accused of throwing a glass at Nathan’s significant other, although eventually, Evans was cleared of any criminal wrongdoing. While things have improved since (the bar was set very low), there’s still an enormous amount of tension between Kaiser’s parents. Jenelle, who is expecting a girl with David Eason, has been sharing pregnancy news but is typically keeping a relatively low profile. Sure, she deals with allegations of taking her son out in a hurricane or letting him play near a bonfire, but by her standards? Uneventful. Griffith, on the other hand, reacted to her pregnancy with indignation and seems to delight in every chance he gets to diss her since. While she hasn’t stooped to that level, she has expressed concerns about Kaiser’s safety with his own father, and is headed to court. The above tweet speaks volumes about the situation. Right now, things are tense between them, and Evans is not hiding that fact, though she’s also refrained from mentioning Nathan by name. She hasn’t called him out or made any public allegations about what he is or is not doing, but is letting her actions speak for themselves. Rather, she says she wants to keep Kaiser safe and she is willing to do whatever it takes for that to happen, even if she gets flak for it. So what’s going on with Nathan, exactly? Back when the couple first called off their engagement, they reached a deal in which Jenelle was given primary physical custody of their son. Now she’s seeking sole custody. According to court documents, Jenelle claims Nathan told her that his “mental health is not stable and that he is unable to care for” Kai. About a decade ago, Chris Crocker rose to viral infamy. Long before Chewbacca Mom and other random people dominated the news for 15 Minutes here and there, Crocker sky-rocketed into an Internet sensation without the assistance of Twitter or Facebook. He did so as the result of the following video, in which Crocker begged, pleaded and cried for people to leave Britney Spears alone, back when the singer was experiencing a few personal and professional hiccups. The dude recently re-Tweeted some random 16-year old just because he agreed with what the teenager wrote. Do you really think Trump is above engaging with Chris Crocker on social media?!? And by engaging , we mean insulting , of course. So, while we await Trump to start a feud with someone best known for imploring the universe to give Britney Spears a break, allow us to offer Crocker a compliment. Gigi Hadid has basically one thing to say when it comes to her controversial impression of Melania Trump at the 2016 American Music Awards on Sunday night. And that is this: Sorry… NOT Sorry! As co-host of the aforementioned event, Hadid chose to impersonate the soon-to-be First Lady of the United States as part of the opening monologue this weekend. She told fellow host Jay Pharoah that she had to work on her “Melania” face first and then broke out an accept meant to mimic Trump, who was born in Slovenia. “I love my husband, President Barack Obama. And our children, Sasha and Malia,” Hadid said as Melania, making a reference to Trump’s Republican National Convention speech. As admitted by someone on Trump’s staff, the speech was partly plagiarized from Michelle Obama and the speech she gave at the Democratic National Convention in 2008. So…. ummm… get it?!? Gigi was joking about something that happened four months earlier and which was discussed heavily at the time. It was very old news. In other words: the impression here was tired, lame and unoriginal, regardless of whether or not you found it funny. Gigi was mocking someone for simply having an accent and also mocking someone who is stuck being married to Donald Trump (hasn’t she therefore been through enough?!?). After receiving backlash on social media, Hadid addressed the incident with a handwritten note. It reads as follows: “I was honored to host the AMA’s last night and to work with some of the most respected writers in the business. “I removed or changed anything in the script that I felt took the joke too far, and whether or not you choose to see it, what remained was done in good humor and with no bad intent. “I too have been the center of a nationally televised comedy skit that poked fun at my actions, and was able to find the humor in it. I believe Melania understands show business and the way shows are written and run. “I apologize to anyone that I offended and have only the best wishes for your country.” This is pretty rich. It’s one of our favorite non-apologies in celebrity history! FIRST, Gigi throws her writers under the bus. SECOND, she says that she should receive credit for cleaning up their insults. THIRD, she pats herself on the back for having thick skin and a sense of humor. FOURTH, she pretends to have any clue about what Melania Trump things. FIFTH, she apologizes… but only if you were offended. Which is her way of saying it’s really your fault for having such sensibilities. Pharaoh also addressed Gigi’s critics on Monday with a Facebook post that also missed the point: “Everybody pump the brakes one damn minute!” he wrote, adding: “Over the last 8 years the beautiful Michelle Obama has been the victim of excessive slurring! Was Hadid’s Trump impression that bad or offensive? No. Not at all. The statements made in defense of it here are far worse, however.
