Hillary Clinton has accepted the nomination for President of the United States. This was the most expected part of the speech she delivered on Thursday night at the Democratic National Convention. What else did she say about America and about her opponent, Donald Trump. Scroll down for the highlights: 1. Bill of Goods On Tuesday night, I was so happy to see that my explainer in chief is still on the job. 2. Kaine is Able For those of you out there who are just getting to know Tim Kaine, you will soon understand why the people of Virginia keep promoting him from city council to mayor, to governor and now senator and he will make our whole country proud as our next vice president. 3. Feeling the Bern Bernie, your campaign inspired millions of Americans, particularly the young people who do their hearts and souls into our primary. You put economic and social justice issues brought and center where they belong. 4. Taking Aim at Trump He wants to divide us from the rest of the world and from each other. He is betting that the perils of today’s world will blind us to its unlimited promise. He is taken the Republican party a long way from mourning in America to midnight in America. He wants us to fear the future and fear each other. 5. It Takes a Village Freedom and equality justice and opportunity — we should be so proud those words are associated with us …When people here those words they hear America, so don’t let anyone tell you our country is weak, we’re not. … And most of all, don’t believe anyone who says ‘I alone can fix it.’ 6. Who Am I? I’ve been your first lady, I’ve served eight years as a senator for the great state of New York and then I represented all of you as secretary of state, but my job titles only tell you what I’ve done, they don’t tell you why. The truth is through all these years … the service part has always come easier to me than the public part … I get it that some people just don’t know what to make of me. View Slideshow
Janet Montgomery is from SKINS…the UK version, that I never watched, but I am sure was better than the USA version, because the USA ruins everything, they just rape and pillage, it’s their colonial, missionary, GIVE ME YOUR oil way. It’s like why come up with their own show, let the people in the UK be edgy, or cutting edge, or interesting with their brains and education – and repurpose it for AMERICA..make it bigger…with more money… So as USA turns everything they touch to shit, it is also the HUB, the place to be, the industry lives there…and if you’re a citizen of the world, you’ll know that the USA, despite their shitty content and execution on good ideas, is the place to be, it is the best world in the country, and that’s probably why this Janet bitch lives in the USA…to get fucking paid…and like all international actors – she’s in the USA living the fucking dream… Going to premieres in see through dresses – because get noticed when you can – it’s hard to stand out amongst all the noise out there… TO SEE THE REST OF THE PICS CLICK HERE The post Janet Montgomery Hot Outfit of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepfather .
In an election that features one side running the former host of Celebrity Apprentice, it's only fitting that a comedian delivered what may have been the line of the Democratic National Convention on Monday night, right? To open primetime coverage of the event, Sarah Silverman stood alongside Senator Al Franken. The two awkwardly riffed for a few moments, often hearing chants of “Bernie! Bernie!” throughout the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. These chants emanated from extremely loyal Bernie Sanders supporters. They were so loyal, in fact, and some felt so strongly that their candidate deserved to be the Democratic nominee over Hillary Clinton, that some vowed to either not vote for Clinton or even vote for Donald Trump. Which seems like utter insanity for a Democrat to do. That's where Silverman came in on Monday. One of the most outspoken Bernie Sanders supporters during his primary race, the comedian could not handle the madness for another moment. “Can I say something? To the ‘Bernie or Bust’ people, you’re being ridiculous,” she said. As you can see below, the remark was mostly met with loud cheers. Soon enough, however, the “Bernie!” chants started up again and Silverman was forced to quip: “Thank God they can fix this in post.” That's a pretty great line (the speech aired live, of course). What do you think of Silverman's quote? Is it her place to make such a judgment? Does the Sanders crowd have a right to be upset and voice their opinion? Or, in the name of party unity, should they suck it up at this point and vote for a candidate who still shares many more values with Sanders than Donald Trump? Watch Silverman deliver her line below and then watch the reaction of those in attendance:
Yes, Sarah Silverman may have delivered the single line that stood out the most on Monday night at the Democratic National Convention. But Michelle Obama delivered the speech that will stand the test of time. Framing the argument for this election not around party lines, but around “who will have the power to shape our children for the next four or eight years of their lives,” Obama endorsed Hillary Clinton in the most passionate way possible. Speaking candidly about Sasha and Malia, Obama brought up the topic of bullying, a clear reference to Republican nominee Donald Trump. “We don't stoop to their level. Our motto is: 'When they go low, we go high,'” she said. Words matter, she said. Actions matter. When she and her husband moved into the White House years ago and and their 10-year old and their 7-year old went off to school with armed Secret Service agents, Obama recalled: “I saw their little faces pressed up against the window and all I could think was, 'What have we done?'” Ever since then, she had focused primarily on making this experience into an important one for her kids. “We urge them to ignore those who question their father's citizenship or faith,” she said. “We insist that the hateful language they hear from public figures on TV does not represent the true spirit of this country.” Obama used this angle as a way to segue into why Clinton needs to be elected President. “What I admire most about Hillary is she never buckled under pressure,” the First Lady said. “Hillary Clinton has never quit on anything in her life. “When I think of the kind of president I want for my girls and all our children, that's what I want – the proven strength to persevere.” Later on, Obama talked emotionally about how the White House was built by slaves. About how her two African-American daughters now play on its lawn with their dog. And about how the Republicans spent their Convention trying to tell viewers about all the awful things now going on in the country. “Don't let anyone ever tell you that this country isn't great,” she said in a pointed reference to Trump's campaign slogan. “This, right now, is the greatest country on earth.” The speech was lauded as one of the all-time best on social media. And a certain Commander-in-Chief clearly liked it: It made you understand why someone might want to plagiarize Michelle Obama . Prepare for some waterworks, and don't be ashamed if you stand and cheer at one point, as you watch the full Michelle Obama speech from the DNC below:

Clinton: “Sen. Tim Kaine is everything Donald Trump and Mike Pence are not…he likes to get things done.” https://t.co/gNu6NIvRXv — ABC News (@ABC) July 23, 2016 Hillary Chooses Senator Tim Kaine As Her VP After all of the media debates about Hillary Clinton’s starting lineup , she has finally put the chatter to rest and chosen Senator Tim Kaine as her running mate and Vice Presidential hopeful. Kaine is a former Virginia Governor and currently serves on the Armed Forces and Foreign Relations Committees. Shortly after announcing her choice, Hillary tweeted: According to CNBC , the Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus had this to say, “”Ultimately this is a ticket that represents one thing: four more years like the last eight, just with more corruption and scandal,” he added. “A Clinton-Kaine administration will push our country further down the path President Obama has led us on and that has made us less safe, less prosperous, and less free.” Tim Kaine asks, “Where are Donald Trump's tax returns?” https://t.co/VnaB0BZWqm pic.twitter.com/0BTTI0Ig3O — CBS News (@CBSNews) July 23, 2016 Tim is already making his first public appearance with Clinton in Miami this Saturday. He opened his speech in fluent Spanish. Supporters are already touting his strong stance on gun control and refusal to back down to the NRA. We like him. We like him a lot. Do you think it will be enough to help Hillary win?

Track Palin was facing some pretty serious charges. Sarah Palin’s 28-year-old son was arrested in January following an alcohol-induced fight with his girlfriend. The charges , according to Radar Online , were “4th degree assault, interfering with a domestic violence charge, and possession of a weapon while intoxicated.” At a July 11th hearing, the first two charges were dropped, and Palin pled guilty to the last. The hearing was then moved to Anchorage Veterans Court, since Palin served as an army reservist in Iraq in 2008. This particular court is specialized, in that it’s “designed to facilitate the rehabilitation of eligible veterans who are charged with criminal offenses.” The aim is to keep the number of veteran offenders out of jail and get them the help they need to recover. Palin’s next hearing is July 25th, and Anchorage District Attorney Clinton Champion told Radar that the court will let Palin know who sort of therapeutic program he’ll be required to follow. View Slideshow: 25 Celebrities Who Suffer From Mental Illness “We’re assuming he’s going to agree [to the program],” Champion added. “That program could take months. It depends on his needs.” This kind of rehab is put on by Veterans Affairs, who assess the patient to determine what kind of treatment would be most effective. “For some people, it’s addiction assistance,” Clinton said. For some, it’s related to anger management or domestic violence. Most everyone does moral reconation therapy, which is a 12 Step program to deal with thinking errors, specifically.” The details of Palin’s altercation with his girlfriend are upsetting. Police reports state that he “struck her on the left side of her head near her eye with a close fist,” then “kicked [her] on the right knee.” Sarah Palin blamed the arrest on both PTSD and President Obama (a notion that Donald Trump agrees with ). “My son like so many others, they come back a bit different, they come back hardened, they come back wondering if there is that respect for what it is that their fellow soldiers and airmen and every other member of the military so sacrificially have given to this country,” she said. “And that starts from the top. It’s a shame that our military personnel even have to wonder, if they have to question, if they’re respected anymore. It starts from the top. “The question though that comes from our own president where they have to look at him and wonder, do you know what we go through?” We hope that Track gets the help he needs.
