We all know that Mark Salling faces prison time , but he's not the only Glee star in trouble with the law. Naya Rivera has been charged with domestic battery against her husband, Ryan Dorsey. And the alleged incident occurred in the presence of the couple's child . Almost two months ago, we told you to pop your “congratulations on your divorce!” balloons and to go ahead and eat your celebratory divorce cake, if you'd had them ready. Because Naya Rivera and Ryan Dorsey had called off their divorce . Naya and Ryan have a young son , Josey Hollis Dorsey. The couple had been in the process of disentangling after two years of marriage, but sometimes, couples work things out. Sometimes, partners try to work through their differences for their child's sake. However, sometimes trying to make things work — for yourselves or for a child or both — end up just making things worse. And, well, it looks like things have gotten much worse. Local news station WSAZ-TV reports that Naya Rivera has been charged with domestic battery after an alleged assault against husband Ryan Dorsey. She was arrested at home on Saturday evening, at around 9:30pm in Kanawha County, West Virginia. Ryan Dorsey told deputies that Naya had struck him in the head and lip while the couple was taking their son, Josey, on a walk down the street. Domestic violence is always a serious situation folks, but this allegation is that it took place in front of their child. That is much worse. And though we don't know the circumstances that led to this, it's reported that Dorsey presented cell phone video to the police that featured Naya's battery against him. Naya Rivera was charged after midnight (so, technically, on Sunday morning). Her bond was set at $1000 at first, but upon review of the evidence and a review of her criminal history, Naya was released on PR bond — personal recognizance. Reportedly, it was her father-in-law, of all people, who picked her up afterwards. We cannot imagine what sort of conversation they must have had on that car ride. And we still have no knowledge of what brought about this incident of alleged domestic battery. But domestic violence is very serious. Unless Naya was somehow defending herself or someone else, which no one has suggested so far, we can't imagine any sort of justification. And, again, this was reportedly in the presence of their young child. Witnessing a domestic assault can be traumatic for children. This news comes as a crushing disappointment, and not just for fans of Naya Rivera's acting roles. In the past, Naya Rivera revealed that she'd had an abortion and she also detailed her eating disorder . That took a lot of bravery. A lot of people liked that she was willing to share those parts of her story with the world. But there's nothing inspirational or educational about an accusation of domestic battery. Naya's hardly the first celebrity to disappoint us this month, but it's never good to learn that someone — famous or otherwise — isn't who you thought they were.

The soul singer filed divorce papers on September 15, citing “irreconcilable differences,” and “inappropriate marital conduct that such further cohabitation would be unsafe and improper,” according to the outlet. Scott, 45, married Mike Dobson , 49, in a June 2016 secret ceremony much to the surprise of her fans and supporters. The grounds listed in Scott’s divorce petition could range anywhere from meaning cruel treatment, infidelity, verbal or physical abuse or sexual impropriety, according to Tennessee law, where the couple exchanged their vows. Dobson, who spoke to BOSSIP, maintains none of the above happened in their relationship. He told the outlet that he was “blindsided” by the news, even though court documents listed the couple’s separation date as September 5. “She’s an evil woman,” Dobson said in the interview. “I’m telling you. It’s like what Jill Scott wants, Jill Scott gets. People are in her ear, and if someone comes in to challenge the dumb s**t, they made me be the bad guy and that got me outta there.” Dobson also said that the couple decided to live separately while they worked on their marriage, agreeing to continue wearing their wedding rings. “She’s got issues. There’s no men in that family, there’s only women. And when a man comes in, it’s like a challenge,” he continued. On the divorce petition, Scott listed her occupation as a writer and PhD student, marking Dobson as unemployed. He told BOSSIP that Scott tried to smear his name by doing so, saying he’s maintained a job with the city of Atlanta since 2011. She also asked the court to enforce an existing prenup agreement between the couple. Dobson also warned that he’s geared up to fight dirty. “She likes to emasculate men – that’s her problem,” he said. “I told her, she’s from Philly, but I’m from New York, and if you want to try to disgrace me, try to slander me, I can fight dirty.” This is Scott’s second divorce. She was previously married to Lyzell Williams from 2001-2007. She shares an eight-year-old son named Jett from her previous relationship with drummer John Roberts . Tamar and Vince are living through love and war in a trailer for season 5 of Tamar & Vince . The clip mostly focuses on Tamar as she reflects on a difficult year and reaches out to her loved ones to bring everyone back together as she works on Blue Bird of Happiness . “This album has everything to do with finding myself,” she explains in the video. “I don’t have time for shenanigans anymore.” Those shenanigans might have something to do with Vince because they’re facing off with each other throughout the preview. Vince can be seen saying, “I think Tamar is going through a mid-life crisis.” Another scene in the trailer shows Tamar and Vince arguing at dinner with friends, when he decides to tell her, “You’re hard to manage.” This season of Tamar and Vince may show viewers when Tamar began contemplating divorce. During her lunch Tiny , her friend advised, “I think you should get another manager before you want to get another husband.” It seemed like Tamar was taking Tiny’s advice as she announced last month that she would be stepping back from music to focus on her marriage . Keeping that in mind, many of Tamar’s fans were surprised to find out that she had filed for divorce from Vince. Mostly because she’s got a nice set of funbags and she’s always showing them off on Snapchat or Instagram, and that’s the kind of behavior I like to support. I don’t know how much longer Ariel’s fame is going to last, but she spends a lot of time at the gym trying to keep in shape and even more time posting cleavage selfies, so I figure she’s got at least another couple months. Those 15 minutes last pretty long when you space it out 30-45 seconds at a time.

There have been rumors of Younes and Kourtney getting engaged , but the consensus amongst those who know the couple best seems to be that they’re just enjoying one another’s company and keeping things casual. But that doesn’t mean Kourtney’s ornery ex Scott Disick is okay with the arrangement. These days, of course, Disick is dating Sofia Richie and indulging in the bender to end all benders. (Literally, as friends are reportedly worried that Disick is drinking himself to death .) So it may seem that he has too much on his plate to be concerned with what Kourtney has going on in her personal life. But apparently, those who know him best believe Scott’s drinking and carousing are part of a misguided attempt to capture Kourtney’s attention and eventually win her back. It’s a strategy that might only make sense in Scott’s booze-addled brain, but in a sense, it’s sort of almost working. It seems Scott is forever the elephant in the room in Kourtney and Younes’ relationship–an unacknowledged presence that may or not be preventing the couple from taking their relationship further. It's been just over a week since Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell got married , but the couple has kept a surprisingly low profile in the days since they exchanged vows. We don't know where Joe and Kendra honeymooned, or how they're enjoying married life thus far. But thanks to a video the couple uploaded over the weekend, we know exactly how they feel about the newest addition to the Duggar clan. As you may have heard, Josh and Anna Duggar welcomed their fifth child earlier this month. The news received a mixed response from fans, as folks generally aren't thrilled when known child abusers have more kids, but within the Duggar clan, Josh and Anna received nothing but praise and well-wishes. And because video greetings uploaded to to public forums are the preferred method of communication for this family, Joseph and Kendra offered kind words on YouTube. The delivery on these clips is usually awkward and strained, as though there's a gunman with cue cards just off camera, but the sentiment is nice, we guess. It seems Kendra is still getting accustomed to addressing the Duggar faithful, and she seems more than a little uncomfortable. But hey, she'll get used to it, right? She better, as unless she's involved in some sort of a massive scandal on par with what Josh did, she'll be living her life in front of a camera from here on out.
