Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia Dies At Age 79 Conservative Court Justice Antonin Scalia, who voted against Obamacare, same-sex gay marriage and said affirmative action sends black students to schools “too advanced” for them , has peacefully passed away at age 79 while in Texas for a visit. Scalia told friends he wasn’t feeling well Friday night before going to sleep and never waking up. Per CNN : U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, a leading conservative voice on the high court, has died at the age of 79, a government source and a family friend told CNN on Saturday. Scalia died in his sleep during a visit to Texas. A government official said Scalia went to bed Friday night and told friends he wasn’t feeling well. He didn’t get up for breakfast on Saturday morning, and the group he was with for a hunting trip left without him. Someone at the ranch went in to check on him and found him unresponsive. The U.S. Marshals Service is helping to arrange for his body to be returned to his home in McLean, Virginia, an official told CNN, not to investigate his death. They were already present because marshals sometimes help supplement security for traveling justices. In a statement, Chief Justice John Roberts said he and other justices were saddened to hear of Scalia’s passing. “He was an extraordinary individual and jurist, admired and treasured by his colleagues,” Roberts said. “His passing is a great loss to the court and the country he so loyally served. We extend our deepest condolences to his wife Maureen and his family.” Now the issue is whether President Obama will nominate his replacement (in an election year), or swill he let the next president decide. Sources tell CNN he plans to nominate a replacement.

Former NFL Player Faces Foreclosure After Blowing Off Lawsuit Over Unpaid Bills Ex-NFL star Chad Johnson has blown off a legal battle over unpaid bills on his Florida mansion and now the judge presiding over the case is close to ordering the pad be sold off at foreclosure due to the football star not even showing up to court. The Long Lake Ranches West Homeowners Association sued Johnson back in May in Broward County, Fl. Court, accusing the former NFL star of owing them over $3,500 in fees and costs related to his pad. The association demanded the court allow them to foreclose on the property and sell it off at auction to get the money owed from the sale off the home. The suit seeks to have the court allow them to kick Johnson out of his home and sell off the property at public auction. Johnson purchased the Davie, FL pad back in 2005 for $1,365,000 – and it was also the scene of the infamous head butting arrest with ex-wife Evelyn Lozada. Then on December 16th, the homeowners association filed a motion for default judgment against Johnson because he’s blown off the case for several months despite being served with the lawsuit. The association is pleading with the judge presiding over the case to grant them their motion for default judgment and allow them to kick Johnson out of his home and sell it off at auction ASAP. Ehsan Abdulaziz of London, was reently celared of rape charges after he told prosecutors that he might have “fallen and penetrated” a teenager he took back to his home after a night of drinking. The Daily Mail reports: A Saudi millionaire has been cleared of raping a teenager after claiming he might have accidentally penetrated the 18-year-old when he tripped and fell. Property developer Ehsan Abdulaziz, 46, was accused of forcing himself on the young woman as she slept off a night of drinking on the sofa in his plush flat in Maida Vale, west London. He had already had sex with her 24-year-old friend and said he might have fallen on top of the teenager while his penis was poking out the top of his underwear.. The women met Mr Abdulaziz in the exclusive Cirque le Soir nightclub in the West End on 7 August last year. Mr Abdulaziz, who had known the 24-year-old for around seven months, invited the friends to join him at his private £1,000-a-night table and bought both women a round of drinks. He later offered them a ride home in his Aston Martin. He had paid £1,000 for a private table in the club, and had bought both the girls a round of drinks. The three went back to his apartment, where he offered them vodka before taking the 24-year-old into the bedroom for sex. The teenager claimed she woke in the early hours of the morning to find Mr Abdulaziz on top of her, forcing himself inside her. When Mr Abdulaziz was arrested, the court was told he had responded: ‘She’ll have to prove it.’ How do you think this guy got off??? BOSSIP broke the story earlier this week that a Westchester County Supreme Court judge put a warrant out for the rapper’s arrest after he didn’t turn up to a court date with ex-wife, Tashera Simmons. But DMX believed his lawyers successfully postponed the Dec. 14 hearing because of his longstanding “DMXmas” performance in Las Vegas the same day. “I did everything I was supposed to do, it wasn’t my fault,” DMX said, according to his Uncle Nell, who is travelling with the rapper as he performs. Uncle Nell said DMX – who has been in and out of jail over the last few years – had turned his professional life around, getting new management, paying off another child support judgment in upstate New York and making sure his court-ordered $5,000 a month in child support was paid to Tashera on time. “He was doing so good for the last three months, building his rep back up,” Uncle Nell told BOSSIP. “He did the show, we went to bed and when we woke up there was a warrant.” DMX – whose real name is Earl Simmons – is set to perform another show in Vegas on Thursday, and then will celebrate his birthday on Friday before heading to Utah for more shows. Then he’ll head back to New York, Uncle Nell said. He said DMX isn’t worried about cops nabbing him on the warrant as he travels from state to state. “We’re sure that the attorney is going to handle it,” Uncle Nell said. “They fumbled the ball, not us. We fulfilled our obligations.” In a statement to BOSSIP, the rapper’s rep said the rapper was continuing to move forward in his career. “We appreciate support from fans, promoters and our staff alike for knowing and trusting that business will go on as usual,” the statement read. “We look forward to great success, and plan to stay focused on accomplishing goals to achieve such greatness!” DMX is due back in court on the warrant next month.
