The duo were all smiles as they walked down the carpet arm in arm. Cut to one year later and Johnston has left the comedienne heartbroken with the news that he’s re-engaged to former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s daughter, Bristol Palin . Suffice to say, Griffin isn’t holding up too well. “You’re talking to me at a very emotionally difficult time because my lover, who I thought was my fiance, Levi Johnston, dumped me,” she joked at the 2010 VH1 Do Something Awards in L.A. Of course, Griffin is managing to smile through the pain. She made a video spoofing how she handled the news of Johnston’s engagement. In it, with Celine Dion’s “All By Myself” playing in the background, Griffin tears apart his Playgirl spread and teases that she may soon set her sights on Taylor Lautner, thanks to his dreamy GQ cover. “And I’ve done a YouTube about it and I’m very raw about my feelings of being dumped,” she said. “And I think any woman or gay man worth his salt will identify with my raw pain that is very, very serious.” So, Griffin is hoping that fans will stand by her in her pain now that she’s got a bunch of projects on the horizon. “It’s weird because through the pain, you also see me promoting my show, my Twitter, my books,” she teased. Recently Johnston and Palin spoke to US Weekly about their engagement, explaining that they reconnected three months ago while working on a custody plan for their son Tripp and unexpectedly rekindled their romance. “I really thought we were over,” Johnston said. “So when I went, I had no hope. By Jocelyn Vena Lindsay Lohan in court on Wednesday Photo: Pool/ Getty Images Lindsay Lohan ‘s parents, Michael and Dina Lohan, were there for their daughter’s 10-minute appearance at a Beverly Hills courtroom Tuesday morning (July 20) before she was handcuffed and taken away to begin serving a 90-day jail sentence . In addition to her mom, The Associated Press reports that Lohan also arrived at the courthouse with teenage sister Ali, who reportedly wiped away Lindsay’s tears. When entering the courthouse, Lohan — wearing a black cropped jacket, a sleeveless top, a black corset, tight jeans, black boots and dark sunglasses — walked quickly through the camera line and was showered by confetti by one admirer as she made her way inside. Although her mother has yet to release a statement about her daughter’s jail sentence as of press time, her father addressed the sentencing through his attorney, Lisa Bloom, outside the courthouse. “Michael spent the morning praying for his daughter,” Bloom said, according to Us Weekly. “He doesn’t believe she should be incarcerated. He is devastated she is going to jail, and he is ready and able to help her at any time.” It wasn’t the only statement Michael reportedly made at the courthouse that day. Lohan’s estranged father shouted out, “I love you Lindsay!” as his daughter was taken away. In the days after Lindsay’s sentencing earlier this month, Michael made several television appearances . In an interview with Larry King , he said he was feeling “dismay, but at the same time a little satisfaction that she’s going to rehab. But the last thing in the world I wanted was for my daughter to go to jail. … Any kind of jail is harsh, especially for a young lady like Lindsay that doesn’t need jail. I’ve been there myself, and I know that jail didn’t do anything for me with my addictions. Here’s Heidi Montag pretending to go to the courthouse to get her divorce papers or some crap like that. I don’t care what this moron is doing really, I’m just glad that it seems to be a pretty chilly day out there and we get to see her big fake nipples poking through her sweater. Thank you. Obviously I’m just assuming that she had her nipples surgically enhanced while she had the rest of her body reworked, I wouldn’t put it past her. I wonder what they did with the old ones and who do I have to speak to about buying them?
