Joy-Anna Duggar & Austin Forsyth: Wedding Date Revealed?!

It’s only been two weeks since we first learned that Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth are engaged , but naturally, fans are already clamoring to know when the young couple will say “I do.” Now, the forthcoming nuptials have become an unlikely source of controversy, and surprisingly, the scandal has nothing to do with the fact that Joy-Anna is only 19 years old. That said, Joy-Anna’s age does apparently play a role in all of this. Allow us to explain: Several Duggar-related social media sites reported yesterday that Joy-Anna and Austin will be getting hitched on October 28, 2017, which would be Joy-Anna’s 20th birthday. A flood of congratulations began to pour in from all corners of the web. Some asked for invites, others wondered why Austin and Joy-Anna were signing on for such a long engagement. (3-4 months is the norm in Duggar Land.) The problem is, the sites spreading the news are operated by fans, and no official Duggar outlet has confirmed the date yet. That said, no one in the family has denied that the rumors are true, either. The situation has prompted many to speculate that Austin and Joy-Anna have yet to pick a date.  That, in turn, has sparked rumors that they’re taking their time due to Joy-Anna’s youth. Whether they’re revealed publicly or not, Duggar nuptial dates are usually set within a few days of the engagement. (After all, there’s no reason in wasting precious baby-makin’ time once the courtship is over with.) The delay by Joy-Anna and Austin has many wondering if the couple has decided to take it slow so as to avoid another Josiah Duggar-Marjorie Jackson situation. Josiah and Marjorie called it quits after several weeks of courting, and the breakup was followed by rumors of mistreatment from the Duggars and a tell-all memoir from Jackson. Granted, Josiah and Marjorie never made it to the courtship stage, but it’s not hard to see how the situation might have left the family a bit shell-shocked. Of course, the more likely explanation is that Joy-Anna and Austin are simply holding off on releasing any information so that they can save all the big reveals for the next season of Counting On. Vanessa Grimaldi to Nick Viall: So, You Moving to Canada?

This season, The Bachelor spoilers have been as dead-on correct as ever, but there are still two installments left for a potential shocker. Might one of the final three be ready to throw such a curveball? Canadian beauty Vanessa Grimaldi puts the screws to Nick Viall on next week's episode of The Bachelor , asking him about the future. Nick Viall is used to being put on the spot, but not like this. In the sneak peek at Monday night’s episode below, Viall hedges when the Montreal resident asks if he would consider moving there. You know, IF they decide to further pursue this romance. “ Nick is someone that I can actually picture spending the rest of my life with,” Vanessa, 29, says, but he's also Nick, and it's The Bachelor . Do we even need to explain any further than that? “But at the same time,” the special ed teacher adds, “we have that sort of relationship where our conversations are always so heavy.” “Today I felt like Nick was questioning whether or not he wants to be as close to my family as I am. It’s been upsetting me.” During Grimaldi’s hometown date – Corinne Olympios got cut, leaving Vanessa, Raven Gates and Rachel Lindsay – Nick met her family. That's customary for Bachelor semifinalists, but what's a little unusual is that subject of where they would move after the show came up. It didn’t seem as if the two had discussed their plans post- Bachelor , so Vanessa brought it up during their subsequent fantasy suite date. That idea didn't necessarily go over all that well. “Is there anything that you would feel uncomfortable compromising on?” she ask. “Is moving for you something you don’t see yourself doing?” “I’ve moved a lot,” Viall, 36, responds. Ouch. “I’ve never imagined living in Canada,” he adds. “I’ll be honest, that’s not easy for me to picture.” “I hope that’s not a non-negotiable,” Nick tells Vanessa, leaving the door open. “I think I would do anything for the woman that I love.” “Not to sound corny, but I’m really proud to be an American,” The Bachelor star adds, very much sounding corny in the process. Vanessa's perfect response to that nonsense? “And I’m very proud to be a Canadian.” The plot thickens, eh?! (Sorry.)

Lena Dunham Debuts Boob Tattoo Inspired By Rihanna

There are word combinations you never expect to type, and then there’s “Lena Dunham Debuts Boob Tattoo Inspired By Rihanna.” You might be tempted to decry such a headline as that “fake news” you keep hearing about: A bald-faced attempt to highlight the more ridiculous aspects of Millennial culture in an effort to work the #MAGA crowd into a greater fury than anti-incest laws and every second of this year’s Oscars combined.  But we assure you, this is no alt-right Pepe-ganda (though we are  in the process of developing tastes for Tolstoy and straight Stoli in order to make nice with our future overlords), and the self-proclaimed Voice of Her Generation really did copy RiRi’s underboob ink . Lena posted the pic above today, along with a caption that reads: “Thank you @trinegrimm for my warrior’s chest plate/tit chandelier. This is my first original piece by a female tattoo artist and it felt sacred and cool and she didn’t chide me for copying @badgalriri’s placement. “If you’re ever in Oslo, go meet this metal queen and let her handle your body.” Look, we’re gonna go ahead and play Dunham’s advocate here. For starters, we’re willing to giver her a pass on a lot of things this week, as “American Bitch” might have been Girls’ strongest episode to date, and it actually addressed a topical issue in a unique way. (It might have worked better as a standalone project, but that’s a discussion for another time.) On top of that – we’ve been there. We’ll admit to seeing a celebrity rock a certain look and (perhaps during a tipsy online shopping spree) deciding to give it a shot ourselves. There was a time when Johnny Depp was cool enough to make male fashion scarves cool, and like other tragedies throughout history, we shouldn’t bury it simply because we can’t make sense of it. So Lena saw Rihanna rocking some boob-bunting and figured she’d try to pull it off, too. As long as she doesn’t start taking racy blunt smoke selfies and using the word “pon,” we can chalk this up to loving emulation and not Single White Female-esque imitation. Besides, if this is the worst thing Lena Dunham did this week, then it was really a hell of a week. It’s not like she publicly wished she had an abortion or attempted to convince the world that her cellulite is a global feminist issue . Lena is like Trump: If seven days go by and she doesn’t make us seriously doubt our mental health or wonder if we’re living in the Upside-Down like Barb, we kinda feel like we owe her a thank you letter. We’d like to tell you that we’ll one day write an article about Lena without comparing her to Trump, but the #FakeNews has gone far enough, dammit!

Joy-Anna Duggar: ENGAGED to Austin Forsyth!

Joy-Anna Duggar is engaged to be married! The fifth oldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle will be walking down the aisle with Austin Forsyth after a VERY short courtship, she confirms. “We just got engaged!” Joy-Anna, 19, announced. “I’m so excited to be engaged to my best friend.” “Austin made it so romantic, it’s amazing.” Forsyth tells Us that he is looking forward to their engagement , their marriage and all the big relationship milestones that lie ahead. “I’m just overwhelmed with emotion,” he says. “I’m so excited to be engaged because that means the next step is marriage, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for us!” The near future, apparently. We predicted earlier this week that Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth were on the fast track, but this?! Duggar and family friend Forsyth, who have known each other for 15 years, announced on November 15 that they had started courting.  Once Austin got the green light from Jim Bob , which you saw if you watch Counting On online , he was prepared to pop the question. The courtship question, that is. Not the marriage one, which he put off a solid couple of months (no word yet on where he proposed). If his previous romantic gestures are any indication, though … Austin chose a spot in a wooded area to ask Joy-Anna to enter into the courtship – a pre-engagement of sorts, in Duggar family parlance. “It’s a place that I’ve come many times to just get away and spend time with the Lord,” he said at that time about the special location. “I just knew that this was the place that I wanted to ask her.” Asking her dad if he could court Joy, Austin gushed: “Over the years, I’ve been watching, and I really admire her heart for the Lord and her character. She’s such a diligent worker.” “She gets all the younger siblings working. She’s a good delegator,” he said, awkwardly, when asked by Jim Bob why he’s into Joy. “And, of course, her beauty.” Of course . While reports of Austin and Joy having sex are most likely exaggerated, we’re also sure they’re past the side hug stage. Like Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo before them, there’s been talk of this duo breaking the courtship rules and racing to the altar from day one. So when’s the wedding? Each seems to move faster and faster, either by coincidence or because the notion of long-term side hugs and chaperones is unmoving. As for the two new Duggar courtships we’ve been hearing whispers about – regarding the guys, for a change – still no word on those. Congrats to Joy-Anna!!

Javi Marroquin, Cassie Bucka Get Serious: Kailyn Lowry Moves on With New Man?!

Javi Marroquin and Cassie Bucka are relationship goals, right?  Well, relationship goals when you’re affiliated with a little show called Teen Mom 2 , at any rate.  Apparently, Javi and Cassie are getting so close that they can barely spend a minute — or a city … or state … or continent — apart.  As it sounds like Javi and Kailyn have no plans on spending the holiday season together with their child, Javi’s got big plans.  “I have to look at our custody agreement and see when I get Lincoln,” the always-quotable Javi told Radar Online . “But I’ll be going to Pennsylvania to spend it with my family whenever I have Lincoln.” As for Kailyn’s other child, Isaac, fathered by ex Jo Rivera, Marroquin said, “I’ll coordinate with Kail to be able to see Isaac to give him his present.” Pretty great of Javi to be such a consistent presence in Isaac’s life, right? Unfortunately, Javi’s new girlfriend  is over in Japan for the holidays.  This past weekend, Marroquin celebrated his 24th birthday in his home state of Pennsylvania, but Cassie Bucka was absent.  About his holiday travel plans – and meeting up with his new girlfriend – Marroquin tweeted, “2017 is already looking great. Miami next month.” “Japan after that. Disney in the summer!”  Some of his Twitter followers seemed to be under the impression, however, that things were moving way too fast between him and Cassie.   Do they have a point? One fan wrote, “@KailLowry is it me? Or does @Javimarroquin9 seem very serious with someone he has allegedly been involved with just three weeks?” Javi, of course, clapped back. With his trademark attitude, he said: “Do you not have a job?! Damn it’s Monday, go get some coffee be happy with your own life and stop worrying about mine.”  There’s really no arguing with that.  For her part, Kailyn seems to be going the passive aggressive route – no surprise if you follow her or watch Teen Mom 2 online . One of her Twitter followers sent along a meme that read: “Boys in the club saying these hoes ain’t loyal, but they drunk and cheating on their GF with a girl who look like Rafiki from Lion King .”   Naturally, Kailyn retweeted that dig at the father of her second child with several cry-laugh emojis and responded, “Basically.”  If that’s the case, though, Lowry might be better off keeping her negative thoughts about her former spouse on the down low. If we’re to take what she said on Twitter on Monday, it sounds like she might be keeping some male company herself.  She wrote, talking about doing laundry: “I thought when you get a man all their sweatpants & hoodies automatically become yours? No? Is that not how this works?”  Is that the Teen Mom  way of announcing that you’ve got a man, girl? Or is she lamenting that Javi took his own when he moved out? Jim Bob Duggar: Joy-Anna Will NOT Be Breaking Any Courtship Rules!

If you watch Counting On online , you know that the Duggars follow a very specific – and very strict set of rules – when it comes to dating and relationships. In fact, they don’t even use the word “dating.” Duggar women and their suitors engage in “courting,” which they describe as “dating with a purpose.” That purpose, of course, being marriage and the conception of a small army of offspring. The latest Duggar to embark on this heavily regulated romantic journey is 19-year-old  Joy-Anna, who is now courting Austin Forsyth , a longtime family friend. Unfortunately, if she was hoping to enjoy a modicum of freedom and maybe even occasional alone time with her new beau, Joy-Anna picked a bad time to start courting. You see, her older sister Jinger Duggar recently married Jeremy Vuolo , and the relationship was subject to a great deal of scrutiny early on, as the young couple seemed to flout the rules and conventions of courtship at every turn. Now, patriarch Jim Bob Duggar is making it perfectly clear that Joy-Anna won’t be rebelling in a similar fashion: That nervous-looking young man across from Jim Bob is Austin, who celebrated his 23rd birthday last night. As you can see, Jim Bob and wife Michelle didn’t leave anything to chance, chaperoning the celebration themselves, instead of outsourcing the job to one of Joy-Anna’s older siblings. The photo was posted on the Duggars’ official Facebook page, along with a caption reading: “We had a great time going on our double date with you and Joy this weekend! “We are loving the time we are getting to spend with you as you and Joy court, and we are so excited to see what the Lord has in-store for you and our sweet Joy!” Obviously, any 23-year-old would love to spend his birthday with his girlfriend’s stern parents, discussing “what the Lord has in store” for his future, but we can’t help but think that Austin might have liked to be alone with Joy, and maybe even get in some hand-holding action. Sadly, he came along at a time when the Duggars and their sex drives are under greater scrutiny than ever. In fact, Jim Bob might be showing more of a reaction to Jinger’s courtship controversy than he did to the Josh Duggar sex scandals , which pretty much tells you all you need to know about the man. Kris Humphries to Portray Himself on The Mindy Project

Move over, Kim Kardashian . Your ex is also about to make a splash on the small screen. Only instead of getting naked and taking it from Ray J, Kris Humphries will be making a guest-starring appearance on an episode of The Mindy Project Season 2. According to TV Guide, the Boston Celtics power forward will play himself. It’s unclear what brings The Hump into Mindy’s world, although the sitcom’s title character does often reference television and pop culture. Last year, fellow NBA players Amar’e Stoudemire and Danny Granger also stopped by the series, showing up at a club Mindy and her colleagues frequented. This gig will mark Humphries’ first acting role, though many believe he was merely reading from a script every time he appeared on camera during his courtship of Kim. Kardashian, meanwhile, has appeared on Drop Dead Diva and How I Met Your Mother and also helps anchor the legendary Ray J sex tape .

Bossip Confirms Reggie Bush Has Been Trying To Rekindle Romance With Kim Kardashian According to a source close to the Kardashian’s, Reggie Bush has been trying tirelessly for 6 months to rebuild the romance that he once had with Kim. From what we understand, Kim has been shutting the NFL baller down for dating “look alike, after look alike, after look alike” trying to relive what the two of them had at one point. Our source tells us that Kim was heartbroken over the fugazi versions of her that ol’ Reggie Reg kept pickin’ up and felt disrespected.
