Lohan Playing Up The Fact that People Are Watching Her of the Day

I don’t know much about the law, but I do know a lot about how these celebrities operate and that is that they don’t really follow the same laws as everyone else, so sure Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in prison, but she won’t spend more than 30 minutes in the waiting room, and that’s only because she wants all the press she’s going to get building up to that day, and the coverage she’ll get walking into the prison surrendering herself. We don’t even know if we were watching real courtroom footage, or if it was just some staged TV set that we were told was an actual courtroom, cuz I’m pretty sure I’ve seen that judge in a gangbang porn I have and that lawyer was Roz from Night Court….Seriously… So here she is at a frame store, buying frames, cuz that’s what people who just got sentenced do with a ton of people, including her business manager and lawyer Michael Heller, who gets her booked at night clubs and in commercials and who probably is staging this whole thing to help her revamp her career. I actually met this dude personally while he was wasted on coke and looking for escorts. My kind of guy. Sure he doesn’t answer my emails, but I know when the two of them are together, something’s brewing behind the scenes….and Lohan is loving all the fucking attention, I can tell in the cleavage shirt she is wearing… Either way, buy into the lie if you want, but it’s more fun to just ignore her cuz that way she will eventually go the fuck away….these self-righteous idiots, no matter how round their tits are, are a waste of fucking time…especially when the last movie they did was 6 fucking years ago… Pics via Bauer

Serbia Upsets 10-Man Germany

Filed under: FIFA World Cup , Germany , Serbia PORT ELIZABETH, South Africa (AP) — Milan Jovanovic scored one minute after Germany striker Miroslav Klose was sent off Friday, giving Serbia a 1-0 win over the three-time World Cup champions in Group D. Jovanovic side-footed a shot past Germany goalkeeper Manual Neuer in the 38th minute to leave both teams with three points in the group. The win was Serbia’s first in the World Cup win as an independent nation. Lukas Podolski had a chance to equalize in the 60th, but he missed a penalty, sending a weak shot to the left of Serbia goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic, who read it and stopped it. ADVERTISEMENT Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic gave away the penalty in the 59th with a handball, the same needless move that cost Serbia the match against Ghana, when Zdravko Kuzmanovic did the same and Ghana scored for a 1-0 win.

Michael Witt’s season-ending injury hits Crusaders’ Super League hopes

• Australian half-back damaged knee ligaments at Harlequins • Crusaders hoping for first appearance in play-offs Crusaders’ bid for a first appearance in the Super League play-offs have been dealt a major blow with news that the half-back Michael Witt is almost certain to miss the rest of the season. The 26-year-old Australian, who has been a revelation in his first season in Super League, damaged knee ligaments in the defeat at Harlequins a fortnight ago and has been told he is unlikely to play again this year. Witt, signed from New Zealand rugby union side Otago in the close season, has kicked 35 goals and scored six tries in his 17 matches. The Wrexham club, whose 44-20 win over Bradford on Sunday took them to within four points of eighth-placed Hull KR, are also without Witt’s half-back partner Jarrod Sammut, who has a fractured cheekbone. The Crusaders coach, Brian Noble, said: “It is a blow. Michael has been one of the top half-backs in Super League this year so we are obviously disappointed to lose him. But I think we have the players to step up to the mark in his place.” Noble is likely to keep Rhys Hanbury and Peter Lupton in the half-backs for Sunday’s trip to Leeds. Rasmussen Finds Most ‘Angry’ with Liberal, Pro-Obama Media

A new Rasmussen Reports survey finds most Americans (51%) say the average reporter is more liberal than they are, and nearly as many (48%) think the media are “are trying to help”  President Obama pass his left-wing agenda. Perhaps as a result, the poll finds an astonishing two-thirds of the public (66%) say they are angry with the media, “including 33% who are very angry” with the press. Most Americans seem to have a low view of journalists’ integrity and professionalism. Rasmussen discovered that “68% say most reporters when covering a political campaign try to help the candidate they want to win,” vs. 23% who think most reporters “try to offer unbiased coverage.” At the same time, “54% of voters think most reporters would hide any information they uncovered that might hurt a candidate they wanted to win, up seven points from November 2008.” Rasmussen also discovered that Republicans and independents are most offended by the media, with a plurality of Democrats (43%) who “say their coverage is unbiased.” This new poll is consistent with many others from the past decade showing rising discontent with the press and a growing awareness of the media’s liberal bias. The Media Research Center has posted a collection of relevant polls — along with polls of journalists showing how their views differ from the general public — on our “ Media Bias 101 ” page. Here’s an excerpt from the June 15 report by Rasmussen, based on their poll of 1,000 likely voters conducted on Sunday and Monday (June 13-14). Sixty-six percent (66%) of U.S. voters describe themselves as at least somewhat angry at the media, including 33% who are very angry…. Now 48% of voters think most reporters when they write or talk about President Obama are trying to help the president pass his agenda. Only 18% think most reporters are trying to block the president from passing his agenda. Twenty-seven percent (27%) say they are simply interested in reporting the news in an unbiased manner…. Fifty-one percent (51%) say the average reporter is more liberal than they are, consistent with earlier findings on the question. Fifteen percent (15%) say the average reporter is more conservative than they are, while 27% say the average reporter shares roughly the same ideological views that they have…. Seventy-six percent (76%) of GOP voters and 56% of unaffiliateds think most reporters are trying to help Obama pass his agenda. Among Democrats, 33% say they are trying to block the president’s agenda, while 43% say their coverage is unbiased. Just 15% of Democrats say most reporters are trying to help the president. PROVENGE: New Hope For Prostrate Cancer Patients

huffingtonpost A new hope for prostrate cancer patients as the Food and Drug Administration approved a new type of treatment from Dendreon Corp. Provenge, a new form of immune therapy, is approved for certain men with advanced prostate cancer who have failed treatment with hormone therapy. It is designed to use a patient’s own cells to stimulate the body’s immune system to fight the cancer. The vaccine combines a protein that is found in most prostate cancer cells with a substance that helps the immune system recognize the cancer as a threat. In clinical trials, Provenge was well tolerated: the most common adverse events that were reported were fever and chills lasting for one to two days. This has also shown significant survival benefit for patients who have metastatic androgen-independent prostate cancer, when compared to patients receiving placebo. In 2007, the FDA rejected Provenge despite an unanimous vote in favor of the treatment. At the time, the FDA said the two clinical studies submitted didn’t meet study goals of reducing so-called time to progression, or the advancement, of cancer. But an analysis of one of those studies showed those receiving Provenge lived about 4.5 months longer than men not receiving the treatment. Still, the FDA asked for more data, which Dendreon later submitted. That data, which involved 512 patients, showed an increase in overall survival of 4.1 months among those receiving Provenge. The median survival for patients receiving Provenge treatments was 25.8 months, compared to 21.7 months for those who did not receive the treatment. The company’s stock was halted for news pending at shortly after 12:30 p.m. EDT, but was trading up 15% to $45.50 at the time after earlier hitting a new high.
