The small protest held by Dwyane Wade’s ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches-Wade on Friday may have seemed a little screwy, but as she spoke with reporters about her reasons for being there, her ambitions became much more clear. Apparently, Dwyane signed their son Zaire up for some kind of basketball camp during Siohvaughn’s visitation hours. In addition to Dwyane’s reluctance to budge, the parenting coordinator reportedly told her that if she tried to keep Zaire from basketball, he would make sure she never saw either of her kids again. And that’s not even all of it. Her recent lawsuit with Dwyane fell through after she reportedly dropped the case. According to Siohvaughn, not only did she not withdraw the lawsuit, but she had no idea it was being withdrawn. She claims her lawyer signed something without her knowledge, and the judge is hesitant to re-invoke the suit. Check out an emotional Siovaughn above explaining all her baby daddy issues. youtube

Remind us never to go to Coney Island Hospital . Man Dies From Botched Blood Transfusion According to The NY Post There’s bad blood at Coney Island Hospital — and it’s deadly. A 40-year-old male patient died at the city-run hospital last week after receiving the wrong type blood during a transfusion, The Post has learned. Transfusions that don’t match a patient’s blood type — giving Type-A to a person who is Type-B, for example — causes the body to attack the new red blood cells, a violent and painful reaction that can lead to shock and a fatal kidney shutdown. “The blood was mislabeled in the lab. It wasn’t a nursing issue,” said one hospital professional who spoke yesterday on condition of anonymity. “It shouldn’t have happened. It’s just carelessness. “It’s a huge problem,” he added. A source said the fatal error occurred in the hospital’s sixth-floor lab, where blood drawn from patients is screened and “typed.” A technician labeled the patient’s blood as the wrong type, and the patient was given the wrong blood during a transfusion. Yesterday the lab was shuttered. Blood for Coney Island Hospital patients is now being typed by technicians at Kings County Hospital Center, with the results then phoned in to Coney Island. Coney Island continues to maintain its own stores of banked blood, and surgeries and ER treatment have not been curtailed. Still, emergency-surgery patients are for now all being given Type-O blood, because it can be used universally. “Our deepest condolences go out to the family . . . We are working with the state to resolve the situation as quickly as possible,” said Ian Michaels, spokesman for the city Health and Hospitals Corporation. We feel for his family. Some white folks will tell you “Cra*ker” is not offensive to them and some will say they dont know what it means, but like the George Zimmerman jury… it must have meant something to them and made them feel some kind of way. Why else would they ask for the meaning? The jury asking for the meaning means they probably are disassociated with black people… besides work or tv. Dare we say, some of the jury probably doesn’t associate with black people… period. The census of all the reporters and contributors is basic… white people (for the most part) believe Zimmerman is not guilty, and on the opposite side… most blacks believe Zimmerman IS guilty. One Fox analysts said “Trayvon is the racist” after hearing the cr*cker statement. The jury must’ve felt the same way, or how else could you justify an unarmed boy being killed by a vigilante? Then we hear about the crime in the neighborhood and how it was done by black people. So, this is a justification in the minds of the jurors to kill an unarmed teen. Some of the staff are really upset while others here feel more compelled to help the totality of gun violence in the ghettos and hoods across America. “Why are you so mad at Zimmerman, but not at the countless number of black lives lost to gang violence?” Some staff have kids and some don’t… that seems to be the deciding factor in this argument. Good points…but what do you all think? youtube
