Lady Gaga’s costume choice at a concert in England over the weekend brought back found memories of another pop music icon – vintage Britney Spears. But would that be a good thing here? Everybody knows the real box-office money these days is in international, and so Tyler Perry jetted off to London over the weekend to begin laying the groundwork for a European insurgency. Prior to hosting a screening of Why Did I Get Married Too? with star Janet Jackson, Perry did TV interviews and met with fans, noting, “I heard there were people who had an appreciation of Tyler Perry stuff, and this is really cool to know.” Indeed! The Miss USA Pageant caused its own controversy when contestants posed in sexy photos before the start of the competition. Photos of the contestants were taken in fishnets, lacy lingerie, showed a lot of cleavage and bare skin, with most posing on a bed or couch for their photo ops. Facebook hasn't disputed the authenticity of the transcript. Zuckerberg was chatting with an unnamed friend, apparently in early 2004. Filed under: Internet Horror Stories Several years ago, I was unemployed and looking for a way to make money. After doing a little research (too little, I must admit), I discovered that plus-sized lingerie was a hot seller online. I browsed the Internet and found a wholesale lingerie supplier who sold what I needed. I freed my credit card from its hidden location, removed the dust, and placed an order for $500.00 worth of frilly plus-sized lingerie. Then, I set up an eBay store and waited for my shipment to arrive. The next day, I received a phone call from the supplier. Item by item, the representative told me that my selections were out of stock. He informed me that he could send replacement items of the same values. I happily agreed. I just wanted my merchandise as soon as possible so that I could start building my empire. When the lingerie arrived, it was several sizes smaller than I had hoped. It was still lovely sherbet-colored lingerie, so I still expected it to sell vigorously. I took pictures, created listings and waited for the orders to roll in. They never did. Even when I lowered the prices of the items and included free shipping, the merchandise still sat unwanted in boxes in my basement. Eventually, I donated all those thongs and baby-dolls to charity.
