Stevie J: Will He Be Fired for Alleged Attack on Erica Mena?

Well, no part of this story is okay. Multiple reports say that something heated and nasty went down att he filming of the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta reunion. Stevie J is accused of assaulting Erica Mena, among other things. Is Stevie J about to get fired? It sounds like Stevie J being a deadbeat dad isn't the worst thing about him. (Actually that's not exactly a surprise; as the youths would say: we been knew ) BET reports that Stevie J went on a nasty tirade at the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta reunion. Their report said that things “got extremely intense,” which echoes sentiments from multiple other sources about the reunion. Not only did he say vile things about Erica Mena, but he reportedly said some truly despicable things about her 11-year-old son. Things “came to a new level of petty when Stevie allegedly called [Erica]’s son King Conde a ‘f–got’ in response to severe shade Mena threw his way.” Hey, if you're a reality star, you feud with your fellow reality stars. You don't throw anti-gay slurs at an 11-year-old. At least one report says that Erica responded by slapping Stevie J. (We would never want to encourage violence, but we will say that her outrage is understandable) This is reportedly when things went from bad to worse. According to reports, Stevie J responded with a violent assault. Atlanta Black Star reports that “security had to pull the 46-year-old off [Erica].” Horrifying. Stevie J “was then asked to leave the building.” Reports say that he is currently “banned from attending any” events for the series while producers conduct an investigation. He “is reportedly on the brink of getting fired.” In a now-deleted video that we have included with this post, Erica Mena seemed to allude to these events. “Stevie J's a B–CH and he likes to fight girls.” Throughout the video, she seems to be seething with anger, barely contained behind a facade. One can absolutely understand her anger if all of the reports that we have heard are true. She would be furious after his alleged physical assault. She would also be fuming that he said such vile things, particularly about her young son. If Erica did strike him, that would have given Stevie J grounds to complain or press charges — but not to attack her. Sadly, this is not even the first time that Stevie J has expressed anti-gay sentiments against a fellow cast member. Back in Season 5, he objected to Mimi Faust dating a woman. He said at the time that he didn't want his daughter being “raised in a lesbian household.” ( Mimi Faust explained that she's not a lesbian , but honestly, that doesn't begin to cover Stevie J's statement) It seemed at the time that he walked back those sentiments. If he's hurling anti-gay slurs around at children when he gets angry, however, it sounds like the underlying bigotry still lingers. Along with some alleged and worrisome violent impulses. Stevie J has gotten away with bad behavior before. But sometimes, there's a final straw. An alleged physical attack upon a costar following a vitriolic tirade sounds like it might qualify. Besides, recently, the culture is becoming less permissive when it comes to inexcusable behavior by celebrities that directly harms others. (Slowly but surely, anyway) Stevie J may have just cost himself his reality career. But we'll see what the investigation concludes. Right now, we only have reports to go on.

Olivia Culpo’s Cameltoe of the Day

Olivia Culpo and her famewhoring really doesn’t matter. She’s really not an important figure in American Pop Culture, and despite having instagram followers that she gets brands to pay her to promote to, no one actually cares about her or who she is or what she does. She’s banged a Jonas Brother, she’s banged a New England Patriot and now she’s banging a pair of leggings, up in her deeper than any dick, cuz that’s the kind of girl she is, calling the paparazzi and giving them a reason to capture her, in a way she wants to be seen and jerked off to, while remaining innocent and a lifestyle blogger or whatever the fuck it is she pretends to be. It’s scams, but that cameltoe is REAL…real fucking huge…that twat be HUNGRY for fucking lunch and girl’s feeding it.

Janet Jackson Just Totally Owned the Billboard Music Awards

Yup. She's still got it, folks. On Sunday night at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, Janet Jackson was honored with a career achivement tropy. Prior to accepting the ICON award, however, the legendary artist got up on stage for her first performance in nine years, as well as her first performance ever as a mother. ( Jackson gave birth in early 2017 . At the age of 50.) After being introduced by Bruno Mars, Jackson took to the Las Vegas stage in a sparkling gold sweatshirt dress and shiny gold thigh-high shoes. She opened her medley of beloved hits with “Nasty,” as her mother Katherine and other family members, including nephew Prince Michael, smiled from the crowd. Janet then launched into her 1993 song “Throb,” reminding everyone of just how long she's been on the scene and just how many hits are in her catalog. But it wasn't just Jackson's singing and dancing that brought attendees to their feet. It was her sage and beautiful words afterward. Upon accepting her well-earned award, Jackson praised the ongoing #MeToo movement , talking at length about this moment in our culture and in society. “I’m deeply humbled and grateful for this award,” she said, adding: “I believe that for all the challenges… we live a great moment in history. It’s a moment that at long last women have made it clear that we will not be controlled, manipulated or abused. “I stand with those women and those men.” The 52-year-old became black woman to receive this distinction at the Billboard Music Awards. But we can only hope she will not be the last. Previous winners included Cher, Celine Dion, Prince, Jennifer Lopez and Neil Diamond. “Our public discourse is loud and harsh,” continued Janet. “My prayer is that weary of such noise, we will turn back to the source of all calmness, that source is God. “Everything we lack, God has in abundance: compassion, sensitivity, patience and boundless love. “Again I want to thank all of you for this honor and I thank God for giving me the precious energy that lets me live my life as an artist who every day seeks to expand my capacity to love.” Watch both Janet's performance AND her speech below. Just prepare to get up out of your seat and cheer when it's all over…

Source: JEWEL SAMAD / Getty This past week, Houston rapper Bun B did one for the culture by sporting a “Make America Trill Again” hat to a basketball game.   This isn’t the first time the rapper and distinguished professor has worn a MATA hat. He’s sported the slogan before and even had it printed on other clothing items in collaboration with Southside Collection.   Clearly, Bun B is taking jabs at Trump ‘s annoying but ever-present “Make America Great Again” hat. He joins a long list of folks who are resisting Trump with their own remixes of the MAGA gear. Some parodies are spot on in terms of their political truths, while others are just plain hilarious. Imma Let You Finish, But: LL Cool J Says He Was The First To Do This — Not J. Cole

Read more from the original source:

Source: Catherine McGann / Getty LL Cool J has been in the game for many generations, so it’s understandable why he would be offended when fake news gets put into the hip hop-sphere.   Fans have been running with this “ J. Cole is the first rapper to go platinum without features” accolade since 2014 — but Uncle L hopped on Twitter to set the record straight. My first album went platinum with no features in 1985… enough !!! — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 My album went platinum in 1985 with no features. It’s the truth. Not hate. Who would have thought in 2018 it would be offensive to say that. — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 You know the social media trolls wasted no time calling LL a hater — but why can’t an OG share his resume with uninformed youngins’? You know you’re a hater when someone talking about their track record/resume and accomplishments makes you say some dumb Sh!t. especially when they ain’t talking to you !!!! — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 Lames out here always lookin for hate. Always assuming The OGs hating on young cats. That ain’t my style. I get to the bag. — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 We Launched the DefJam label in 84!! The label ended up doing pretty good. Anyone offended by that?!?! — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 Oh, he also let us know that he invented the term G.O.A.T. I “literally” introduced the term GOAT to hiphop with this album!!!!!! Yes LLCOOLJ started this term in Hiphop !!! In the year 2000!!! It’s the truth don’t be offended!!! I like the other GOATS!!!! pic.twitter.com/gbcVC6dbXj — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 But LL stayed true to his ‘never let them see you sweat’ form and made it clear that he supports the young folks — just respect the history of the game. I’m happy to see the new G’s out winning and building their careers. I started #RocktheBellsSXM so the fans that prefer that classic OG sh!t. Can hear what they want. When I tweet about music I’m talking to them “ONLY” this is between LLCOOLJ and classic hiphop fans. — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 For all you New G’s that aren’t haters. Just know LL has love for you and I wish you nothing but the best. I mean that from the heart. I’m not in your lane and I’m not interested in getting in your lane.. We’re doing strictly Classic over here. It’s all love — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018   Unlike most celebs, he didn’t take the trolls to seriously. Uncle L managed to find the humor in the shadiness: I wore the very first pair of Jordan’s on my very first album. Im talkin when Jordan was a rookie. I’m not hating on sneaker heads. Don’t get offended I like sneakers!!!! pic.twitter.com/zKsGgnkwD5 — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 I Rocked Heavy ice in the early 80’s and 90s !!! I like people who wear diamonds !! Don’t be offended!! pic.twitter.com/BeiaDFB6eJ — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018   All in all, there’s no beef between LL Cool J and J. Cole: Ps. I love the youngin J cole. So you haters need to cut out that dumb Sh!t.. — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 So cut it! And let us vibe out to KOD, drama free. Brian Lancaster Dies; Former Road Rules Star Was 43

Brian Lancaster, a reality star best known for having been a cast member on Season 7 of Road Rules, was found dead in his Pennsylvania home last Thursday. He was 43 years old. According to TMZ insiders, Lancaster had a history arrhythmia (that is, irregular heartbeats) and his family believes he passed away from heart failure. Lancaster competed on Road Rules: Latin America back he was 23. This season of the widely-viewed adventure reality series found Lancaster competing in missions across Mexico, Costa Rica and the United States. On its website, the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home in West Chester, Pennsylvania shared an obituary for Lancaster. It described him as a “jack of many trades, including advertising account manager, telecommunications project manager, special education teacher, bartender, and reality TV star.” His relatives tell TMZ the death was not drug or alcohol related. Police will likely investigate but, as far as his loved ones know, there were no foreign substances found inside Brian’s home. Out of respect for Lancaster (pictured below in the latest photo we can find of him), we’re going to simply excerpt other portions of his obituary: In his formal education, Brian graduated from University of Colorado Boulder with a B.A. in Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising and graduated from Eastern University with a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. He would tell you though that his real education came from examining life endeavoring to become “well sharp” in order to chop through life’s challenges. Although not actually Jamaican himself, Brian was long entranced by their culture and proudly sported excellent dreadlocks. A spiritual explorer, dreamy stargazer, inquisitive world traveler and barstool philosopher who enjoyed a good mind meld, Brian excelled at being a human being rather than a human doing.  Constant in his soul and spirit, he would share possessions, thoughts and every part of his essence with anyone who came into his orbit. Brian, who was also known as Chilly Willy, Lanc, Dawg and Briana, never knew a stranger and was a connoisseur and collector of an eclectic assortment of friends ranging from 18-97. He was a consummate hugger, professional cuddler, iconoclast and master bullshitter who was extremely accident prone. Ever the authority shirker he was well-known for crossing lines and pushing the envelope. As you can tell by these passages, Lancaster was a unique individual. He is survived by his fiancee Sarah J. Bell and his parents Dennis and Carol Lancaster and he will be greatly missed. A private service was held in memory of Lancaster on Wednesday for his friends and family members. View Slideshow: 28 Reality Stars Who Died Way Too Young The obituary also notes that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lancaster’s name may be made to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, a no-kill shelter in Chester and Delaware County, where Lancaster adopted his faithful companion, Reagan. Pretty admirable. This, sadly, is not the first tragedy to hit the Road Rules cast over the past several months. If you recall, Danny Dias died in June of 2017 at the even younger age of 33. Toward the end of Lancaster’s obituary, meanwhile, it reads: View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2018: In Memoriam Because he couldn’t be sent to space or have his head cryogenically frozen he will have to settle with living on forever as ashes in the earth, just the way he wanted. Amen. May he rest in peace.
