A male nurse is under arrest for sexually assaulting two of his male patients at Western Medical Center in Anaheim. Richard Alan Nolan, 45, of Buena Park was arrested Wednesday by Anaheim police on suspicion of felony sexual assault on two patients, according to Anaheim Sgt. Rick Martinez. Investigators say the probe began when a 23 year old man reported that his genitals were fondled by a hospital employee who said he was a doctor conducting a medical examination. The “doctor” turned out to be Nolan, who is a male nurse at the hospital, officials say. Detectives discovered a second victim, also a male in his 20's, during their investigation, Martinez said. The second victim was a patient at the hospital in June, 2009 and identified Nolan as his attacker. Nolan was booked at the Anaheim Detention Facility for felony sexual assault. His bail has been set at one hundred thousand dollars. Officials say the investigation is on-going.
