Annalynne McCord Does Something Sexyish

Here’s AnnaLynne McCord doing her best to look sexy in her little black outfit while out partying over the weekend. Alright so maybe it’s kinda working. I could do without the ugly sister in the background, but I think I can look past that, everyone else has. I wonder how much longer this chick is going to be in the spotlight for, she’s not in any movies, her stupid show has got to be almost done and she doesn’t do anything hot like run around drunk in a sprinkler wearing a bikini. At least not yet.

Adrianne Curry Nude On A Bed

What’s the deal with Adrianne Curry , is she not right in the head or does she really just do nothing but hang out in her house taking pictures of herself half naked to post on the Twitter ? Here she is naked on her bed for some reason, rollerblading indoors and I don’t know what the hell is going on with the Jagermeister and Red Bull while she’s driving. The girl is just weird…. I want her to be my girlfriend.

David Brooks Discusses Iraq War’s Success Without Mentioning Bush

New York Times columnist David Brooks wrote an article Tuesday largely about the success America has had rebuilding Iraq without ever mentioning the name of former President George W. Bush. To be sure, ” Nation Building Works ” also addressed some of the failures: the absence of “social trust,” the lack of doctors and engineers, as well as rampant corruption to name a few. But in a column published the very day President Obama is to address the nation about Iraq, it seems particularly odd that the man at the helm when America invaded – and who against public sentiment as well as the will of the current White House resident orchestrated a surge of military forces in 2007 largely responsible for the success of this mission – is conspicuously absent: “Iraq has made substantial progress since 2003,” the International Monetary Fund reports. Inflation is reasonably stable. A budget surplus is expected by 2012. Unemployment, though still 15 percent, is down from stratospheric levels. Oil production is back around prewar levels, and there are some who say Iraq may be able to rival Saudi production. That’s probably unrealistic, but Iraq will have a healthy oil economy, for better and for worse. In the most recent Gallup poll, 69 percent of Iraqis rated their personal finances positively, up from 36 percent in March 2007. Baghdad residents say the markets are vibrant again, with new electronics, clothing and even liquor stores. About half the U.S. money has been spent building up Iraqi security forces, and here, too, the trends are positive. Violence is down 90 percent from pre-surge days. There are now more than 400,000 Iraqi police officers and 200,000 Iraqi soldiers, with operational performance improving gradually. According to an ABC News/BBC poll last year, nearly three-quarters of Iraqis had a positive view of the army and the police, including, for the first time, a majority of Sunnis. Sounds pretty darned good, right? Yet Bush’s name is not even mentioned nor is the fact that Obama as Senator voted against the surge and campaigned against the wisdom of it on his road to the White House. As such, who got the de facto credit for the current condition in Iraq as far as this piece was concerned? When President Obama speaks to the country on Iraq, he’ll be able to point to a large national project that has contributed to measurable, positive results. If he is honest, Obama will have to balance pride with caution. He’ll have to acknowledge that the gains the U.S. is enabling may vanish if the U.S. military withdraws entirely next year. He’ll have to acknowledge that bottom-up social change requires time and patience. He’ll have to heed the advice of serious Iraq hands like Crocker, Michael O’Hanlon of Brookings and Stephen Biddle of the Council on Foreign Relations, and shelve plans to withdraw completely. Yes, but nowhere did Brooks advise this President to congratulate or at least acknowledge the former one for going against Obama’s senatorial wishes by orchestrating a surge that made any of the success possible. I’m sure this was just an oversight on Brooks’s part.

NBC’s Engel Dumps On Iraq War, Claims Hussein Was Becoming More ‘Moderate’

On the day that the U.S. is ending combat operations in Iraq, the Today show, on Tuesday, brought on their chief foreign correspondent to essentially say the Iraq war wasn’t worth it. The noted anti-war reporter, when asked by Today co-anchor Ann Curry did, “Anything positive come from this war?” proceeded to dump on the entire mission as he relayed that Iraqis are upset that the United States “has failed to deliver on its promises,” claimed that Saddam Hussein, before the war, was “getting more moderate” and concluded that the mission was “a giant distraction of resources” and if not for the invasion of Iraq, the war in Afghanistan “would probably be over.” As the MRC’s Tim Graham pointed out in 2006 , Engel isn’t exactly the most objective analyst the Today show could’ve brought on to analyze the war, as he admitted to the Washington Post’s Howard Kurtz that he thinks “war should be illegal” and he told him “I’m basically a pacifist.”  The following is the full exchange between Curry and Engel as it was aired on the August 31 Today show: ANN CURRY: NBC’s chief foreign correspondent Richard Engel has covered this war in Iraq since it began and also as it ended. Richard, good morning. RICHARD ENGEL: Good morning. CURRY: So keying off what Mr. Gibbs just said, what Iraq are we leaving its people to write its, their future with? ENGEL: Well, right now I think Iraq is in a very, very dangerous place. It’s very possible they will have another round of civil war. In the end of his comments right there you, he was talking about the political accord between Sunni, Shiites and Kurds that helped to bring some security gains. That accord is calling apart right now. CURRY: So how fragile on a scale of one to ten, ten being worst? ENGEL: Nine. CURRY: Nine? ENGEL: Yeah. I think it’s very fragile. I think if they don’t get a government in the next couple of months the, all of the gains from the surge could be wiped out. CURRY: Anything positive come from this war? ENGEL: Come from this war? Saddam Hussein is gone and any one, any Iraqi will tell you that. Saddam really was that bad. And every Iraqi suffered in that. And, but, but if you ask Iraqis what’s happened since then and they will complain that the political structure that was created in their country, by the United States, has failed to deliver on its promises to the people. CURRY: Meantime had the U.S. not invaded Iraq, where would Iraq be today? Where would the geopolitical situation be today? ENGEL: If there had been no invasion Saddam would still be in power. He was probably getting more moderate. He was being welcomed into the, into, by, by a lot of European countries, he was being welcomed in Eastern Europe in particular. He was heading in a, in a direction of accommodation. The, the sanctions regime that was holding in place was starting to fail. So I think he would, it would be somewhat of a basket case but it would still, it would be – Iran would be a lot more contained. So it would be a dictatorship that was trying to break out of its box but Iran would not be as dangerous as it is, as it is today. CURRY: And had the United States not invaded Iraq, would we be done in Afghanistan? ENGEL: Probably. That was a giant distraction of resources, of intelligence assets. That war would probably be over. CURRY: Richard Engel with perspective that’s very valuable on this war and many other stories. Thank you so much this morning.

Andrea Mitchell Blames American ‘Prejudice’ For Paucity Of Donations To Pakistan

You ee-vil Americans.  You haven’t contributed enough to Pakistani flood relief.  And now you’ve been busted by Andrea Mitchell, who knows why you’ve been so miserly.  It’s prejudice.  Prejudice I tell ya! View video here if not visible at right. Mitchell teased her prejudiced-Americans theory at the top of her MSNBC show this afternoon, then trotted it out while talking with Ann Curry, who is in Pakistan.  How over the top was Andrea?  Even fellow lib Curry had to gently talk Mitchell down, suggesting there was another very good reason why Americans would be cautious about sending money to Pakistan . . . ANDREA MITCHELL: Even before the president waded into that mosque controversy, a new poll shows a growing number of Americans wrongly believe that President Obama is a Muslim.  This as prejudice against Muslims in America might be contributing to a charity gap toward flood victims in Pakistan. And a bit later, while speaking with Ann Curry . . . MITCHELL: We’ve been looking at incredible pictures, Ann, while you’ve been talking about this, of this flooding. Secretary Clinton, the State Department, has announced, is going to be announcing a Pakistan relief fund, and the hope I’m told is that that will somehow validate it for Americans.  The incredible numbers are, in the early days of this disaster, only $50,000 was texted in for the Red Cross and other relief organizations to the State Department in answer to their appeal, in comparison to $34 million after the disaster in Haiti,  which tells you that the prejudice against Pakistan is pretty profound. ANN CURRY: Well, I think that’s right. I think that part of that may also be that Americans, and people all around the world, given the state of the world today, are concerned that money given to these flood victims in Pakistan could end up in the hands of extremists , like the Taliban. Getting schooled on hard-nosed realpolitik by Ann Curry? Ouch!   Let’s summarize Andrea’s view of her compatriots: Americans are a prejudiced lot, as proved by the fact that we haven’t donated nearly as much to Pakistan as we did to . . . the overwhelmingly black population of Haiti. Got it.

Adrianne Curry Is A Topless Nerd

Career nobody Adrianne Curry is at it again, posting pictures of herself on Twitter wearing retarded nerd costumes while she trolls Star Wars or Star Trek or Star Search conventions looking for attention from desperate lonely losers. Here she is doing her thing in various half naked nerd outfits in front of her walk in closet. I know, it’s pretty lame, but, the good news is….. She’s topless. Good enough.

Arianny Celeste Bikini Pictures

I’m not up to date with all the latest UFC ring girl happenings so I have no idea who this Arianny Celeste chick is, but she was nice enough to dress up in her little yellow bikini for us so why not give her a little exposure. Here she is at some Maxim magazine event the other day showing off her nicely tanned pectorals. Impressive, she must be able to do, I don’t know, five pushups with those things. Hot. more pictures of Arianny Celeste here
