The men of RHOA re being so nasty and so rude e… Peter Thomas Responds To Apollo Nida Remember when we told you that Apollo Nida went on a jailhouse rant about his friend Peter Thomas being “fake”??? Well after Peter responded that he could “never be fake” and added that “his number hasn’t changed”, he’s now speaking further on their issues. TMZ reports: Sources close to Apollo tell us he became enraged after hearing Peter has been bad mouthing him, saying Apollo deserved his prison sentence for stealing and money laundering. Apollo feels betrayed by Peter, and is also upset he hasn’t heard a peep from Peter since getting locked up. Peter, who’s married to Cynthia Bailey, tells us his number hasn’t changed and he has no idea why Apollo would air his beef on social media instead of calling him from the slammer. Peter says he’s got a lot of friends in the big house and there’s a drill … they call you, because you can’t call them. Peter could have sat down and penned a letter, but he says he’s not much of a letter writer. The way Peter put it to us, “If I am a fake friend because I don’t write a letter, then I’m a fake friend.” Bloop, have a seat Apollo. In addition to blasting Peter Thomas, Apollo recently responded to reports that he agreed with Phaedra Parks’ decision not to bring their kids to visit him on Christmas. “Kenya is toxic…”— Porsha Williams Porsha Williams Blasts Kenya Moore Porsha Williams is once again speaking on that gut kicking catch fade with Cynthia Bailey during the last episode of RHOA. As previously reported the two ladies have made amends and Cynthia admitted that she overreacted. Now according to Porsha, she’s sincerely sorry that her tone while using the b-word was misunderstood. Via Bravotv.com: What was going through your head after the confrontation with Cynthia? Porsha Williams : I was honestly in disbelief. In the past, Cynthia and I have tended to use the b-word in a playful way. Actually, there have been many times that Cynthia has used the b-word as a term of endearment towards me. She even used the b-word with my friend Shameatelling her, “Show them how a real B goes down the slide,” while on the boat! I never thought in a million years that Cynthia would ever think that I was using this term with negative intent or with the intention of being disrespectful towards her. I am truly sorry that my tone was misread. She also added that she missed three days of work from the altercation and suffered contusions and bruises. While on the boat, I thought we were playing in a fun, loving way, and I believe Cynthia overacted during the entire situation. I actually missed three days of work from Cynthia’s kicks. I was diagnosed with abdominal contusions and bruises on my arms and legs. Thankfully with a lot, and I mean a lot, of prayer, I got through it and I forgave her. I feel like Cynthia’s circumstances got the best of her, she hit a breaking point, and ended the day with physical violence towards me. However I do believe everyone deserves a second chance and the opportunity to explain their reasoning behind their actions. Porsha then went in on Kenya Moore for being “toxic” and trying to “manipulate” a situation. Sunday on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 5 , Cynthia and Porsha’s argument turned nuclear on the ladies’ cruise. While that beef heated up and there was clearly no love lost on this love boat, Kandi hoped to receive some big news from her doctor … If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online , you know the Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams feud was nearing its boiling point. Porsha called Cynthia a bitch, which she said was a term of endearment, but Cyn wasn’t buying it, and well, neither was backing down. “We have had years of issues back and forth; I’m going to find out if this how it’s gonna all fall out,” Porsha shouted as Cynthia asked: “This is how you want to be? This is how you want to be?” Fans who love cat fights might answer yes, but the cast? The pushing, shoving and kicking escalated quickly. “I’ve seen this before. She’s like a rabid dog. This is a scary scene,” Kenya Moore, who knows what getting beat down by Porsha is like, said. Pretty nuts all around, even by their standards. In the aftermath of the brawl, Kandi Burruss headed to the doctor for an ultrasound of her baby, while Todd Tucker … had a phone call. One that caused him to miss its heartbeat. Finding work-life balance is tough on all of us, but at least they know it’s a boy … oh wait, that’s just the leg. Sorry Todd. Maybe it still is? Meanwhile, back to the dysfunctional mess that is Cynthia and Porsha’s feud, Kenya decided to insert herself into their reconciliation. It was as bad an idea as it sounds like. Basically, Kenya tried to point out that Porsha was a repeat offender in terms of violence, and Williams didn’t take kindly to this “gotcha” moment. “I don’t trust you,” Porsha told Kenya, wholly unimpressed with her motives. “You don’t have any compassion for me, and I know that.” Still, Porsha said she would “give Cynthia a chance” to make it right, while Bailey admitted that things got out of hand. So there’s hope? Kim Fields, Sheree Whitfield, Kandi, Cynthia, and Phaedra Parks were on edge when Cynthia and Porsha showed up at the same lunch. Once they had some privacy (except for gawking co-stars and Bravo cameras), Porsha and Cynthia got into it … fists-free this time. “Just bruising, so I took a couple days off from work,” Porsha said when Cynthia asked how she is. “But emotionally, I was bothered by the situation.” Porsha stuck to her story, though. “However that made you feel, that was not my intention behind it,” she said of bitch-gate, and that was close enough as apologies go. “I came here today to apologize for my part in it,” Cynthia said, following non-apology suit. “I had no expectation from you whatsoever.” Incredibly, they hugged it out. Yet it was Leon, the father of her daughter Noelle, who really made an impact, calling Cynthia out on her has a history of bailing on tough relationships. “The fact that he thinks I should fight for my marriage really speaks volumes,” she said, adding, “It really makes me want to reevaluate the situation.” Meanwhile, Porsha Williams tried to get Kandi Burruss to support her new romance with football star Duke, but Kandi had to bite her tongue. Often. For her part, Kenya threw a hot party for her Kenya Moore Haircare line, and things got so hot, it was like there was no air conditioning up in there. His actions were the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back for Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas marital tension, but far from the only issue. Peter said putting work ahead of their marriage doomed them both, while Cynthia felt a more general “disconnect” between them was the culprit. Words were exchanged. Tempers rose. Just when it seemed they were totes done for, though, they reached a point where the couple decided to follow Porsha’s advice to work that s–t out . “I’m going to do everything I can. I am. Timbaland Ignores Divorce Filing, May Pay Millions By Default Timbaland’s estranged wife Monique Mosley may be done with their marriage of 7 years…but the music mogul certainly doesn’t seem interested in breaking things off just yet. Even though docs were officially filed against him earlier this year, Timb has decided to completely blow off the entire divorce proceeding in court. Now, a fed-up Monique has headed back to court demanding to be awarded the divorce she asked for — with or without his official legal response. If you’ll recall, Monique slapped Timbaland (Timothy Mosley) with divorce papers back in October 2013 after a 15 year relationship — five of which were spent as husband and wife. But nearly a year later, Monique quietly dismissed her petition for divorce , and it appeared that the couple had reconciled. Apparently their reconciliation didn’t last for long. Monique served Timbaland with a fresh set of divorce papers on July 28th 2015. Florida law states that the defendant has 30 days to respond to the divorce filing, however as of September 2nd, Timbaland had yet to file any response in the divorce at all. Monique headed back to court on September 3rd to ask the court to grant her a default divorce and award her all the support she requested in her original petition. Monique’s original filing asked that the music mogul cough up a sizable child support payment — not only for the eight-year-old daughter the two share together, but also for her thirteen-year-old child from a previous relationship. According to Monique’s logic, Timbaland should be held financially responsible for both children since he had publicly and privately claimed the older as his own as well. She also demanded compensation in the form of alimony — in permanent payments in addition to a lump sum paid out during divorce proceedings. In addition, Monique requested life insurance, private school costs, vacations, summer camp and other expenses. She also pleaded with the court to award her repayment of attorney fees as well, claiming she was personally so broke she had to borrow money from a friend to hire a divorce lawyer. The judge has yet to make a ruling on her motion for default against the music mogul. Time will tell if Timbaland’s silence will cost him many years of fat checks in the future…
The Vision Community Foundation, Traxx Girls, Inc and The Gentlemen’s Foundation hosted a Welcome Reception for Atlanta Black Pride at the Center for Civil & Human Rights last week. The event included a red carpet welcome area, exhibits from community based organizations, free HIV testing and featured Juan & Gee Session-Smalls conducting a live talk show focused on the health of black gay men. This past December in Atlanta, filmmaker Patrik-Ian Polk directed a PSA that featured Claudia Jordan , Kenya Moore , Cynthia Bailey , Brandon DeShazer , Miss Lawrence and Derek J . The PSA was for the “ Testing Makes Us Stronger ” campaign. The PSA premiered at the welcome reception for Atlanta Black Pride; following the premiere of the PSA, there was a Q&A panel discussion featuring participants of the PSA.
