According to LA Times: An attorney for V. Stiviano, the woman at the center of the Donald Sterling scandal, said she had permission to record the Clipper’s owner and doesn’t know who leaked the tape to TMZ. Calabasas lawyer Mac Nehoray declined to state the purpose of the recording, but said it was “by mutual agreement.” “My client is devastated that this got out,” he said, adding that he and Stiviano “have an idea” who released it. He declined to identify that person. “Someone released it for money,” he said. Stiviano recorded the rants that led to Sterling’s banishment from professional basketball and said through her attorney that she was never his mistress. Contrary to some media reports, Stiviano was not in a romantic relationship with Sterling, her attorney said. “It’s nothing like it’s been portrayed,” Nehoray said. “She’s not the type of person everyone says.” She recorded the conversation, Nehoray said, but had no role in providing the damaging tape to TMZ, the website that first broke the story. The conversation occurred at her home in September in the presence of another person and Sterling knew he was being recorded, Nehoray added. He also said Stiviano and the 80-year-old Clippers owner never had a sexual or romantic relationship and that descriptions of her as his mistress in the media and in a lawsuit filed by Sterling’s wife were erroneous. According to Rolling Out: “First and foremost, the friendship you saw on camera between the two of us was genuine. We were very supportive of each other and talked every day,” wrote Bailey. “The most challenging part for me has not been disagreeing with my husband on camera, or finding out my family essentially considered sabotaging my impending wedding in my first season on the show, or even the unfortunate argument with fellow cast member Kandi Burruss during the Pillow Talk party this season,” she continued. “In all honesty, it’s been watching someone who I thought was a friend [NeNe Leakes] first attack my husband and then attack me by suggesting I be fired from the show.” Bailey then went on to detail the infamous Mexico incident when Leakes called Peter Thomas a “b—-.” The “b—-” incident was very disrespectful and a low point in our relationship. But as mature adults who genuinely cared about each other, we worked through the mess, and decided our friendship could survive. Don’t get me wrong; it was very difficult to forgive NeNe for her harsh insult towards my husband because I would never refer to a friend’s husband in such a derogatory way. Not going to do the b!tch thing with Gregg. I thought it would be funny, but I really don’t want to call him out… even as a joke” The text continues, “[I] think we should have real grown folk conversation, address our concerns as friends, apologize, hug it out and have cocktails.” NeNe captioned the text: “Did u forget u sent me this text after Mexico, the morning before Gregg and I shot the scene with u and Peter. According to Sister 2 Sister: Despite what NeNe Leakes has to say about it, Cynthia Bailey asserts that she was loyal to her former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” bestie. “I was a loyal friend to @NeNeLeakes. #truth,” tweeted Cynthia Sunday night while NeNe publicly questioned that loyalty on “Watch What Happens Live.” NeNe, who damaged the friendship by calling Cynthia’s husband Peter a “b*tc#,” suggested that a true friend would forgive and not start hanging out with haters. “When you have a friend and they do something wrong or something you don’t like, I don’t think you align yourself with the enemy. You stick with your friend and you say, ‘Look we were friends. You did this and I did not like that,’ but at the end of the day you don’t align yourself with the enemy,” NeNe said. Peter Thomas, whose disappointment in NeNe’s behavior at a charity event hosted by Kenya Moore turned into an argument, said it’s NeNe who doesn’t know how to be a friend. “Challenging Mrs. Leakes is apparently something you don’t do. Nene Leakes Denies Leaving RHOA If Porsha Williams Gets Fired We reported that the entire cast of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” was threatening to walk off the show if Porsha Williams is fired over her fight with Kenya Moore. Sources close to the show claim the women hatched their plan at Kandi Burruss’ wedding, telling the show’s producers how much they despise Moore because of all the drama she stirs up. Not so fast! NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey now claim the gossip is completely false! Nene tells Essence Magazine : “I don’t know where that came from. I’ve never said that. We don’t group up together to do much. You know all of us aren’t goosing up together to be going to bat for Porsha. We don’t collectively do anything. But I will say this, I don’t think that Porsha deserves to get fired based on the fight with Kenya. I do think she was on the chopping block before she got into the fight. Fighting Kenya did not help her case.” Nene clearly doesn’t like Kenya but she knows she’s good for the reality show: “I don’t like Kenya. TMZ or somebody caught me one night coming out of Mr. Chow’s and I said, just jokingly, they need to get Kenya off the show. But seriously, I understand the reality world. There has to be a cuckoo bird. That’s entertainment. I wanna see the show do very well, and I think Kenya brings an element to the show and they should have.
