Miley Cyrus was released from the hospital just last week following an allergic reaction to the antibiotic Cephalexin, but now it seems the singer has suffered yet another health setback, forcing her to cancel a concert in Amsterdam that had been scheduled for May 2nd. Miley Cyrus on Hospital Stay There is no official word yet on the severity of Miley’s illness, but sources say that “her allergic reaction has returned.” Amsterdam was to be the first stop on the European leg of Miley’s Bangerz tour and she is expected to also postpone a show in Antwerp that was supposed to take place on May 4th. Miley hasn’t issued a statement on the cancelation yet, but there is speculation that she may be forced to postpone her entire tour until she is back to full health. An insider close to Miley assures fans that “Miley is very bummed about it.” Miley had tweeted about her frustration at being forced to cancel tour dates during her previous hospital stay. Rumors have circulated indicating that Miley overdosed on drugs resulting in her extended hospitalization. The singer has denied that her illness is the result of anything other than a severe allergic reaction. Miley Cyrus may be more popular than ever, but there are some who are less than thrilled with the Twerk Queen’s recent shenanigans: the residents of Miley’s hometown of Franklin, Tennessee. Miley may be a full-blown Californian these days, but Destiny Hope Cyrus – as she was known in her childhood – spent her first 13 years in Franklin. London’s Daily Mail recently took a tour of Miley’s birthplace and found that some residents of the tiny town in central Tennessee are none too proud to claim Miley as a former Franklin girl: “The devil has got her,” says Judy Reynolds, who once attended church with Miley. “Her actions on stage show me that she lost her way.” Asked about Miley’s love of weed , Reynolds added, “Drugs destroy people. Anything in your life, be it sexual immorality or drugs…it can be the way of the devil.” When asked to describe the town’s reaction to Miley’s infamous VMAs performance, Reynolds said simply: “horror.” Another Franklin resident, Kim Cotton, described her disgust with one of Miley’s music videos: “When Miley got on that wrecking ball, I don’t think she was thinking, “Oh, I shouldn’t do that because it’s going to hurt Franklin, Tennessee.” No, Kim, probably not. Miley Cyrus backed out of a concert at the very last moment last night. A rep for the artist confirms that Cyrus came down with a case of the flu and was forced to postpone a show in Charlotte as a result, just 30 minutes prior to when it was scheduled to begin. “Due to illness, Miley Cyrus’ “Bangerz” tour date scheduled for tonight, April 7, Time Warner Cable Arena Charlotte has been cancelled,” read a statement in response to the incident. “Cyrus has been diagnosed with flu and doctors have ordered her to rest. She will not be able to perform as scheduled. Refunds for Charlotte tickets will be available at the point of ticket purchase. Tickets purchased online or by phone will be automatically refunded.” According to the same statement, Miley will perform tonight in Raleigh. The singer has had a very tough week. Her dog, Floyd, was killed by a coyote and Cyrus has been openly been in “unbearable pain” over the tragedy. She actually sang to a statue of the dog in Brooklyn over the weekend and has wondered via Twitter whether she’ll ever be able to love again . Often crying in concert over the past few days, Cyrus has said the tears have negatively affected her voice. He’s a little boy not a Golden Retriever! Couple Arrested For Locking Child In Dog Cage For Several Hours A Day SMH. According to Tulsa World: A Chelsea couple were arrested on allegations that they locked a 4-year-old boy in a dog cage for several hours a day and abused and neglected two other children. Suzanne Satterfield, 33, was booked into the Rogers County Jail on Tuesday on complaints of child abuse by injury and child neglect. Johnathon Wade Lee, 31, was jailed on a child abuse by injury complaint, records show. Authorities were contacted Oct. 13 after a Department of Human Services social worker visited the couple’s home and found Satterfield’s 4-year-old son locked in a small dog cage, records show. During an interview, Lee claimed that he and Satterfield decided to keep the boy in the cage to prevent him from harming himself and on occasions when he needed to be disciplined, the affidavit says. The pair estimated that the boy was in the cage as long as 14 hours a day, the affidavit states. Satterfield told authorities that “it was a big mistake” and that they “went too far.” Satterfield is jailed with bail set at $100,000. Lee is jailed with bail set at $50,000.
