Embattled singer Chris Brown is the victim of extortion, not the administrator of a savage beating on the basketball court, according to his attorney Mark Geragos. Malcolm Ausbon filed a lawsuit against Chris, claiming the R&B star and his posse beat the crap out of him when he called a foul on Chris during a pick-up game. Chris Brown: Basketball Thug or Extortion Victim? The beatdown allegedly occurred at 24-Hour Fitness, but Geragos claims Brown is being taken for a ride, citing a letter demanding $250,000 from Chris … OR ELSE. If Brown doesn’t pay up, the letter says that “Mr. Ausbon is placed in a position by the LAPD where he needs to decide whether he will press charges.” The lawyer continues, “He would rather be compensated.” According to Geragos, this is just a cleverly worded threat , i.e. pay me a quarter of a million dollars to go away because I am making a big issue out of this. Geragos says he’s turning the tables on the accuser, claiming Ausbon’s attorney knows Brown didn’t touch the guy and going after Ausbon by filing a police report. Brown’s attorney, who is a very busy man, says the accuser’s lawyer already admitted the guy who struck his client had dreadlocks and it was all on video. We’ll see if he’s right, and Brown skates yet again. Not that it’ll help him with some of his other, unrelated legal issues. No question Chris is a target, but he also makes himself one with a lot of his actions.

Of course, it could be that she just likes wearing rings on that finger. Just when we thought Miley Cyrus could no longer shock us… During the opening night of her Bangerz tour , the 21-year old took to the stage in Vancouver, sang a dance-filled rendition of “Party in the USA” and then pretended to give a blow job to someone wearing a Bill Clinton mask. This raises a number of questions, the most prominent one being: WHY? The Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky scandal took place in 1998. Miley was six years old at the time. What point is she making, exactly? Who possibly came up with this idea? It’s all very unclear. And equally disturbing. An alleged affair between President Barack Obama and Beyonce has been reported by a French newspaper, and has been immediately shot down. Slamming the sensational claims, The Washington Post has no plans to publish a bombshell story about an alleged affair between the two friends. The outlandish claim emerged in respected French newspaper Le Figaro . Photographer Pascal Rostain (who is friends with former French First Lady Carla Bruni) promised: “It’ll go out tomorrow [Tuesday, February 11] in the Washington Post .” “I can assure you that the world will talk about it.” They will, but not with any sort of seriousness. Rostain added: “We should not forget Marilyn [Monroe] or Monica Lewinsky. You can be the president of the first world power … that doesn’t make you any less a man.” No, but it doesn’t mean he’s cheating on Michelle Obama . “It’s definitely not true,” a spokesperson for the Post told Poynter (dot) com in an email. This comes as a small shock considering Cyrus went topless in both German Vogue and W last week, giving the world a clear look at what used to be reserved for Liam Hemsworth’s eyes only. Miley Cyrus is featured on the newly-leaked cover of W magazine, and you’re never going to believe this, but girlfriend is not wearing any clothes on it! Gasp! The magazine proclaims that this is “Miley laid bare,” and it certainly is that, with the blonde-wigged singer covered only by a strategically placed pillow.
