A Chinese man is facing years imprisonment after beating his 10-year-old stepson and then severing his hand, all because his mom wasn’t able to afford an apartment they were trying to buy. According to NY Daily News reports : A Chinese man hacked off his stepson’s hand with a meat cleaver Tuesday before spitefully throwing it in boiling water so that it could never be reattached, police said. Cheng Sun, 43, allegedly beat 10-year-old Xiao Jun with a stick after a row about money before grabbing the hatchet and smashing it down on his limb. He then lobbed the bloody lump of flesh into a pot of water that had been left on the stove refor their evening meal. The Daily Mirror reports that Cheng had met Xiao’s mom, Xiao Shen, a year ago. The couple, who lived in a rented apartment in Shenyang with the boy, were looking to buy a flat together. The mother went to visit relatives to try borrowing some cash when she called Cheng to say there would be a delay with the money coming through. The crane driver allegedly launched into a furious rage and attacked the boy. Afterward, he reportedly called cops to confess the crime. He then took Xiao to the hospital, but doctors said it was too swelled-up to be of use and that the boy required an artificial arm. Cheng was arrested and now faces a lengthy prison term. Please don’t let this man practice medicine again. Dr. Conrad Murray Files Petition To Get Medical License Back Conrad needs to find something else to do. Being known as the man who killed Michael Jackson is not what’s up. According to The NY Daily News: He still has one more weekend to go behind bars, but Michael Jackson’s one-time personal doctor is stepping up the battle to get his medical licenses back stat. Dr. Conrad Murray filed a civil petition in Travis County, Texas, Friday morning asking a civil court judge to stop the state medical board’s revocation of his medical license pending his criminal appeal in California. Murray, who’s set to walk out of a Los Angeles jail on Monday, had a clinic serving low-income patients in Houston before his 2011 conviction for causing the King of Pop’s fatal overdose. Texas was the first state to revoke Murray’s medical license in August and cited his felony conviction as the cause. Murray’s Texas lawyer Charles Peckham said he tried to fight the decision internally – arguing that California convictions aren’t final until all appeals are over – but the board denied his motion for a rehearing on Tuesday. He’s now asking a state court judge for a temporary restraining order to halt the decision. He claims it could cause “irreparable harm” to Murray, especially if the Medical Board of California uses it as a precedent to revoke Murray’s license in the Golden State. “There is a clear potential for a domino effect,” Peckham told the Daily News Friday. SMH. He said Murray already has agreed to the indefinite suspension of his licenses and has no plans to treat patients pending his criminal appeal – so the early revocation was unnecessary. But he was clear Murray wants his white coat back as soon as possible. “Dr. Murray has an unquenchable desire to help people, and no matter where it is, he will return to his given profession of healing,” Peckham said. “The truth is that a man like Dr. Murray who’s dedicated his life to helping people will find a place to do it,” he said. “If it’s in Texas or the U.S. or we don’t know where, you can be sure he will find a place to help people.” California’s Medial Board has filed its own petition to revoke Murray’s license, but it’s essentially on hold during the criminal appeal, which could take years, Peckham said. “He’s going to keep fighting in every way possible,” Murray’s Los Angeles-based criminal lawyer Valerie Wass previously told The News. “If he doesn’t receive favorable results in the Court of Appeal, he plans to go to the California Supreme Court and federal court if need be,” she said. Wass said Dr. Murray “has never wavered” in his position that he’s not responsible for Jackson’s death as he prepared for his “This Is It” comeback concert series. His unblemished record doesn’t matter… he knew he had no damn business administering that drug in a home setting.

According to NY Daily News reports : A Colombian mother has been busted pimping out her 12 young daughters after selling their virginities for just $200 each, police said. Margarita de Jesus Zapata Moreno, 45, was detained in Bogota earlier this week after one of her girls, now 16 and pregnant, contacted police. The teen was reportedly angry after her mother ordered her to abort her child. Tito Cornelio Daza, 51, allegedly the baby’s father, was also arrested. Univision reports that Moreno, who has a total of 14 children, would sell their virginities once they turned 12 years old. She would then allegedly force them to prostitute themselves to pay the bills. “It hurts that a mother would do this,” police Chief Carlos Melendez, investigating the case, told reporters. “The mother contacted highly solvent but depraved men so they could have sex with the minors when they turned 12,” he added. Moreno, who has denied the allegations, faces 10 years in prison if convicted. She currently remains at El Buen Pastro prison, while Daza is being held at Modelo Prison. Both are accused of carnal abuse of a minor under 14, and the enforcement of prostitution. Moreno’s two children not subjected to the sex work, a boy of 11 and a girl of 9, are reportedly in the care of social services. The daughter who reported her mother is now receiving psychological help from the Colombian Family Welfare Institute. SMH. Too bad it took abortion threats to get this girl to turn her mom in. According to The NY Daily News A Brooklyn teen who was rushed to the hospital after she fainted on a subway train was sexually abused by an emergency room worker who was supposed to be taking her blood pressure, the Daily News has learned. The 18-year-old victim was in and out of consciousness Thursday around 7 p.m. when the sicko worker at Brooklyn Hospital Center allegedly grabbed her hand and repeatedly put it on his crotch. “I remember a nurse or someone trying to put a blood-pressure cuff around my arm,” the victim, whose name The News is withholding, said recalling the moment the sicko sexually assaulted her. “That’s when I started to wake up,” she said, tears rolling down her cheeks. “The only thing that was going through my mind was, ‘Open your eyes so you can see his face.’ ” Her mother was on the other side of the curtain when the sickening assault took place, the victim said Saturday. The victim’s nightmare began when she boarded an A train at the Jay St.-MetroTech station station around noon to meet some friends at Chelsea Piers. She started to feel dizzy and queasy on the train. “The next thing I know, I blacked out,” she said. She recalls people asking her questions and going through her bag in search of her identification. She even remembers EMTs lifting her onto a stretcher. SMH. “I couldn’t open my eyes,” she said. “I couldn’t speak. I just had in-and-out hearing.” The next thing she heard was the sound of her mother’s voice in the emergency room, followed by the sound of a curtain closing. The hospital worker asked her mother to step to the other side of the curtain so he could check her blood pressure. The worker left before she could open her eyes. She told her mom everything. “She grabbed my hand and told me what he did,” the victim’s 37-year-old mother said. “I couldn’t process it.” “I was beyond shocked,” she added. “The last place you would believe that would happen is in the hospital.” The victim’s father rushed to the hospital and called police. But the brazen suspect returned and claimed he had to run an EKG on the victim. Her dad told him to get lost. By the time police arrived, the worker was nowhere to be found, the family said. “She’s traumatized,” the victim’s 55-year-old father said. “I just want some justice for my daughter.” Cops say they are looking to question a 55-year-old suspect. A Brooklyn Hospital spokeswoman declined to comment. The woman was admitted to the hospital and released Friday. “I feel bad that he would go so low, that he is in such a dark place that he has to go so low,” the girl said of the suspect. “If anything, I feel bad for him.” She feels bad for him? What set the elephant off ? Man Killed By Stampeding Female Elephant Maybe some of these animals attack because they’re tired of being caged…still what a messed up way to die. According to The NY Daily News A senior zookeeper at a Missouri zoo was tragically killed by a rampaging elephant Friday, a spokeswoman confirmed. Springfield city spokeswoman Cora Scott told the News-Leader that 62-year-old John Bradford was killed Friday morning by a stampeding female elephant named Patience. The veteran worker had been with the Dickerson Park Zoo for nearly 30 years, the paper reported. According to KY3.com, other handlers had been in the pen when the 41-year-old pachyderm, who has had behavioral issues in the past, charged. Ambulances rushed to the zoo early Friday morning and left about an hour later. Officials will continue to investigate. Tragedy struck the elephant enclosure earlier this month when another of the zoo’s five elephants, Connie, died. Zoo officials said the Dickerson Zoo will remain open despite Bradford’s death. If the elephant had a history of behavioral issues, then special precaution should have been taken to prevent this tragedy. A man is dead and the zoo is still open–sad. KY3

According to The NY Daily News The owner of a chain of prestigious Manhattan music schools charged with molesting a 9-year-old girl sexually assaulted at least three other victims, prosecutors said Tuesday. Ilya Lehman, 70, is also the music instructor at The Early Ear chain of schools on the upper West Side and upper East Side. He was arrested in August for allegedly molesting the student between Sept. 2011 and April 2013. During a court hearing in Manhattan Supreme Court, prosecutors said they had identified at least three other victims. “We have located two other of the defendant’s victims,” Assistant District Attorney Nahal Batmanghelidj said. “Based on our investigation, we believe there’s a possible third individual,” she added. The prosecutor, who did not reveal details on the alleged incidents or the additional victims, added “it appears” there are statute of limitations issues with the cases. Prosecutors suggested they would try to introduce the alleged assaults at trial if they are not able to charge Lehman with additional crimes. Lehman vehemently denies the sexual attack on the child he was arrested for allegedly groping, and just learned of the new allegations today, his attorney said. “This is the first time the District Attorney’s office has given any indication that it believes there may be other alleged victims,” said his lawyer, Raymond Granger. “We’ll have to wait and see whether and if so how the DA’s office proceeds with respect to those allegations.” Lehman, who is free on $300,000 bail on the condition that he refrain from teaching children, was indicted for continued sexual conduct against a child and sexual abuse in the first degree. He pleaded not guilty to those charges when he was arraigned in August. Judge Jill Konviser adjourned the case to Nov. 4. They let him go free on bail! The justice system is truly broken.
