Maddie Ziegler Slams Abby Lee Miller in New Tell-All!

Maddie Ziegler has grown up so much, hasn’t she? It seems like just yesterday that she was a tiny little girl, dancing her heart out on Dance Moms , but that was then, and this is now. And now she’s 14 years old — and she’s already releasing a memoir! Her book, titled The Maddie Diaries: A Memoir, was just released yesterday, and judging by these excerpts , it sounds like her childhood — well, the Dance Moms part of her childhood — was actually pretty rough. “People ask me a lot if what they see on Dance Moms is real,” she writes in one segment. “Well, I can’t really answer that — I don’t watch the show.” “I’ve probably only seen one entire episode from start to finish. I don’t love watching myself. I’ve lived through it, why do I need to watch it happen all over again?” “I was eight years old at the time,” she continues, “and there were cameramen following me around everywhere I went. I would just ignore them and go about my business.” Pretty mature for an 8-year-old, huh? “Eventually,” Maddie explains, “you feel a little exposed because you’re on all the time. Your life is what the show is about, but you’re also trying to live it.” “I just wanted to dance; I didn’t want all the drama.” But if you’ve seen even a few seconds of Dance Moms, you know that the drama was unavoidable. From dance coach Abby Lee Miller screaming to the mothers screaming to the kids crying, drama is just as important to the show as dancing. In another part of her book, Maddie laments that “When it came to competing, people expected us to be the best because we were the ones with the TV show.” “That was a lot of pressure — we had a reputation to live up to.” In addition to the pressure, there was also some danger, too — at one point, she recalls a an event at a mall when “a thousand screaming fans” were “pushing and shoving and trying to get close to us.” “It was pretty scary,” she writes. “We actually had to hide locked in a store for a while till the crowds thinned out and the screaming stopped.” But what about Maddie’s infamous dance instructor , Abby Lee Miller? She was a huge part of her life for several years, so there’s probably oodles of stories dedicated to her, right? Wrong. Maddie doesn’t mention Abby one single time. Not once. Beautiful, right? But while she doesn’t mention Abby by name, she did write that before she met Sia, “I would say yes to a lot of things I didn’t want to do because I thought I had to — I didn’t want to disappoint anyone.” “I’d be overwhelmed by the amount of work on my plate. Sia always tells me you have to have time off, step back and appreciate the moment.” How lucky is it that she met Sia then? So at least she has one person in her life how who’s telling her to take some time off from dancing to be a kid. Will you be reading Maddie’s book? If only just for the subtle Abby Lee Miller shade?

Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 13 Recap: Who Won At Nationals?

Abby Lee Miller and her group made it to Nationals, but did they manage to eke out a victory over Cathy and the Candy Apples? That was their plan on Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 13 which turned out to be one of the craziest episodes of the entire series.  Watch Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 14 Online When the episode got underway, Abby was emotional at just how much change there had been over the years at the ALDC over the years.  On top of that, she worried about the prospect of letting someone else teach her girls if she did find herself locked up.  The dance teacher then handed out solos to Lilliana, Elliana, Kalani and Brynn.  This did nothing to put Jamie’s mind at ease as she worried whether her daughter was going to be allowed to dance.  As you probably know if you watch Dance Moms online , there has been a lot of tension between Abby and Jamie because of the way Maesi has been treated.  The other moms were not impressed that their daughters never got to have a solo performance, but what did they expect? It’s not like Abby could hand out additional solos and change the rules at Nationals.  While the mothers continued to bicker, Abby revealed to Lilliana that her father would be singing the vocals for the song she would be dancing to.  The kid was ecstatic, but her mother was nervous that this meant Elliana’s song would be put on the sidelines.  Cathy returned with the Candy Apples and was just as despicable as before. She had someone named Zach on the team, who she thought would give her team the edge.  All she seemed to care about was sending Abby off to prison with a loss. Yes, she apparently does not care about her team.  Abby then changed up the group number and had all of the dancers die at the end of it. Yes, the mothers were not impressed with it.  Everyone took a break from rehearsals to attend Kendall’s big music video debut. However, Abby was not impressed and did not think it was the best route for her to take.  Her mother claimed that Abby was just jealous she did not have a say in her career anymore.  The next morning, Abby revealed that she had to let go of her studio and had no idea what would become of her.  Cathy arrives at Nationals and knocks down the ALDC sign and tells everyone aside from Kalani to go home. Yes, she’s still pathetic and bitter.  Abby tells her to leave, and that’s when Cathy throws the only ammunition she can at her nemesis: jail time.  All of the performances were solid. Even the Candy Apples managed to turn in a fabulous number.  Elliana won second place, Lilliana won first place in the junior competition, while Brynn won third place and Kalani won first.  The ALDC also took top honors in the group competition.  The Candy Apples started another war, but Chloe and Christi walked in.  Will they be allowed to return on a more permanent basis?

Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 8 Recap: The New Leader

Abby Lee Miller wants to find a new leader for the ALDC as it becomes clear they will need to find consistency if they have any hope of succeeding at nationals.  When Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 8 got underway, Abby  was still ecstatic about winning at Fresno. If you watch Dance Moms online , you will know that the ALDC previously struggled to emerge victorious at Fresno, so this was kind of a big deal for them.  With Nia leading the group number,  Holly wanted Abby to start to understand that Nia could be a huge success if Abby put in the work with her.  However, drama was not far off when Holly was not put at the top of the pyramid and Holly aired her frustrations to Abby. She claimed that whenever Maddie won a group number, she was at the top of the pyramid.  As you all know, Abby does not like being put on the spot and revealed she did not give a damn about what Holly felt.  Sometime later, Abby revealed that the groups would be traveling to Phoenix, Arizona. She also let slip that she would be pitting Elliana and Lilliana against each other.  The group number was revealed to center on the girls being gravediggers. Only Brynn, Kalani, Nia, Camryn and Kendall were to perform.  Jamie was concerned about Maesi being left out of the performance, but Abby did not give a damn about her feelings.  “If they wanna be up on that stage at Nationals, it’s my way or the highway,” Abby explains. In order to prepare for the performance, Abby took the girls on a trip to the cemetery in order to help them understand just how grueling the job of a gravedigger is.  While this was underway, the moms were contemplating who should be the one to lead the team.  Yolanda then went to pick an argument with Abby because she felt like she was not working on Elliana’s solo as much as she could be and felt Abby was setting her daughter up to fail.  The other moms questioned whether Elliana ever got enough rehearsal time because her mother and Abby were always arguing with each other.  Brynn being given some sort of special choreography paved the way for the mothers to argue that she was being forced into the role and that there were other girls who deserved it more. Will these moms ever just enjoy the dancing? As we got to the performances, the mothers argued that Yolanda was trying to take the spotlight away from her daughter. Yes, she dressed as Charlie Chaplin.  It was one of the most bizarre scenes in the history of the series. Elliana struggled, coming in fifth place, but Lilliana managed to eke out a win.  Additionally, the group number came out on top, so the team has won their third competition in a row.  Abby congratulated Lilliana, prompting Elliana to make a tearful apology to Abby. Yolanda was annoyed and stormed out of the competition.  Will she return? What did you think of all the drama? Sound off below! View Slideshow: 27 Reality Stars Who Should Never Be On TV Again

Jill Duggar Shares Controversial Photos of Stillborn Sister Jubilee

Jill Duggar is about to come under fire for a move that the Duggars made back in 2011, before they were anywhere near as famous or controversial: The sharing of photos featuring a stillborn Jubilee Shalom Duggar .  In memoriam of the baby that would have been Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 20th child , Jill opted to share the pics on social media. Of course, her Instagram following consists of over 1 million followers, many of which were bitterly divided on the polarizing pictures.  On her Instagram page, she wrote: “5 years ago today my mom gave birth to my youngest little sister, Jubilee Shalom Duggar and Jesus welcomed her home to Heaven!” “She is a testimony to every life being beautiful; at 18 weeks gestation, she was a beautiful baby with little blue eyes, 10 fingers & 10 toes!”  “She weighed 4 oz. and was 6 inches long.” “We miss you Jubilee and look forward to meeting you one day in Heaven!” Jill added. “@duggarfam #jubileeshalom #job121”  She also shared a passage from the Bible. Job 1:21 reads, “Naked I came out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither; the Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away.”  “Blessed be the name of the Lord.” The pics were originally taken as part of a memorial service held in honor of the stillborn baby, and stirred up tons of controversy upon release. The deeply religious, pro-file  Duggar family shared the miscarried fetus pic  shortly after the child’s memorial service.  She the images in question below: Some commenters were supportive of the photos that Jill shared and her reason for doing so … others, not so much.  One follower wrote: “So sorry for your loss but will NEVER EVER forget how beautifully your family showed the world the precious life of the unborn child – fearfully and wonderfully made sweet Jubilee.” “Rest In Peace in God’s Divine hands.”  Another commented, “AMEN. I also lost a precious baby. I hope to meet that little one in heaven.”  Others, however, weren’t as supported, and outright called the images — and Jill — crass.  One commenter said, apparently disgusted: “Pictures of a dead fetus….? Really?”  “No happy birthday to Josie but all of a sudden, Jubilee: Memba her?” wrote another, referencing the family’s 19th child. Baby Jubilee would have been five years old today, had she lived; Josie Duggar recently celebrated her seventh birthday. On the whole, however, the Duggars received widespread support, and the naysayers were few and far between. Instead of slamming the photos, or the baby the Arkansas family lost, they decided to argue the merits of religion instead. That’s progress, if nothing else, right? Dance Moms: Cancelled By Lifetime!?

Is Dance Moms coming to an end for Lifetime? With Abby Lee Miller’s legal troubles piling up and her potentially facing up to 30 months in prison, there really would not be much of a show without her.  Now, the star of the series, Abby, has taken to social media with a post that seems like subtle hint the show is coming to a close.  Miller captioned a video of her Junior Elite Competition Team winning first place in a manner that fueled this intense speculation. “Years of my life, seven seasons on TV in 130 Countries.” “I did my best for Lifetime and gave my all to [Dance Moms].” Miller’s possible farewell statement continued, “Thank you for the many wonderful opportunities and the valuable lessons I learned.” There is every possibility that Lifetime could be resting the show until Abby gets out of prison, but it would be difficult to get viewers back. After such a long time away, and having already aired for so long, this could mark the natural end point for the hit series. Recently, Lifetime opted to premiere Dance Moms Season 7 just one week after the conclusion of a lengthy Season 6. Could this mean the network is burning the remaining episodes of the show off to be done with it once and for all? Quite possibly.  Abby Lee Miller-Kira Girard Fight on Dance Moms Ratings are down quite a bit vs. the first few episodes of Season 6, and the network has been known to cut underperforming shows.  With Abby’s ever growing legal troubles and her near certain jail sentence coming up, it seems like the end is really here for the show.  There’s currently no confirmation about the episode count for Season 7, but the last few have spanned over 30. Yes, that’s too much, but watching Abby’s ever changing favoritism for some of the girls is pretty fun to watch.  The moms go crazy, but would their children really be where they are without her? Not a chance.  Dance Moms: Abby Lee Miller-Kelly Hyland Fight! Either way, we’ll keep you updated on what’s going on with the show, but for now, we’re going to assume it’s over.  What do you think of this? Sound off below!

Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 1 Recap: Fight For Her Life

On  Dance Moms Season 7 Episode 1 , after around 45 melodramatic episodes of Season 6, Abby Lee Miller delivered an epic announcement: She is quitting the Lifetime show to pursue a career as an MMA fighter, where she hopes to duke it out with Kelly Hyland on pay per view. Kidding. Her real announcement wasn’t that good, but if you  watch Dance Moms online , you know she never hesitates to shake things up … We picked up with Abby in her office, looking as bored as she always does. She furrowed one of her brows when she clocked the Junior Elite mothers in front of her.  “Look what the cat dragged in,” she barks.  The moms looked pissed, but they really couldn’t say anything. It’s been two months since the last competition and they know their kids are struggling without Abby’s connections.  When Abby asked if the kids were coming back, the moms seemed to think that was all down to Abby and whether she could split her time between the two teams evenly.  Abby requested that the girls came in because she had something she needed to discuss with everyone involved at the ALDC.  When everyone was together, Abby dropped the bomb that she was struggling to juggle working with two teams and that she would be cutting some people out in order to make a coherent team that could listen to her commands.  This was met with outrage from the moms, who quickly started wondering who Abby wanted rid of. Kerri decided that was the final straw and took her kid, quitting the ALDC.  Abby seemed unfazed by it and was probably somewhat happy at there being one less person to coach.  There was a clear divide between the mini mothers and the elite mothers. The mini mothers seemed to think all of this was brought on by the elites heading off to another dance studio earlier in the year.  When the gang took to Vegas, Abby said the mothers did not need to be in the room during the performances. They seemed to think this was to rattle the girls and make it easier for Abby to rattle them.  Abby then caused a huge argument by saying some of the kids would be jealous, but in true Abby fashion, she lied right after it and denied it.  Geez, doesn’t she know how much trouble lies can get you in? Kendall took 3rd place in the Teen Solos, with Brynn coming in 1st place! The girls came in 1st place for the group solo. It was surprising, and pretty great. Abby was ecstatic.  However, when it came to crunch time, she could not get rid of anyone.  Instead, she said she felt like she was going to vomit and ran off.  Would she really get rid of some of her girls? Sound off below!

Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 30 Recap: The End of the ALDC?

The fate of the ALDC has been uncertain ever since it was revealed that Abby Lee Miller was in a lot of trouble with the law over Tax fraud.  On Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 30 , the mothers made it clear they wanted some answers about the fate of the ALDC, but answers were few and far between.  We all know that Abby was seeking extensions in her case, but the mothers took issue with that hitting the news and them still being left in the dark.  Watch Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 30 Online Abby decided to lock herself inside her office rather than face up to what’s going on in her life. Oh, and she doesn’t give a crap what happens to the moms.  “These mothers have no clue. I was not put on this Earth to be at their beck and call,” Abby says. Gianna was quick to step in while Abby hid away in her office. At least she took a proactive approach to all of it. I mean, if not for her, no one would know what the heck they were doing.  The Junior elites were tasked with doing a contemporary piece titled, “Picnic in the Park.” Meanwhile, the Minis were tasked with jazzing it up to “Gossip Girls.” Brynn got word that she was getting a huge solo to perform, but she felt there was a lot of pressure on her to pull it off. The Junior Elites took issue with their piece because it didn’t feel like something you would perform in a competition.  Stacey heard that there was a possibility of doing a solo and was unsure what to dress her in, so she visited the Beast of the East in her office and got some harsh words thrown her way.  Abby took the solo away from Stacey’s daughter, but Stacey revealed she was leaving the ALDC, throwing the whole performance into question.  The next day, Abby decided to actually do some work, but she made it clear she would not be discussing her legal issues.  “From now on, there’ll be no discussion about the case or me or my roles or anything. I will have my attorney contact whoever they need to contact,” Abby explains. Abby got a shocking phone call from Debbie, who appeared earlier in the season. Debbie wanted to know what the heck was going on with Abby potentially leaving the team.  After all of the drama, Abby took the Elite Team for a picnic in the park, but the mothers got annoyed because it was taking them away from valuable rehearsal time.  Either way you look at it, Abby just can’t win. She knows she’s not been the best guide and that’s why she’s trying to change things.  Ashlee cut to the chase about the Debbie conversation and asked if Abby would allow Debbie to take over. Abby said this was a possibility if Debbie paid her $1.5 million.  That’s a lot of money.  View Slideshow: 13 Reality TV Lies People Somehow Believe Abby then broke down, while discussing the fact that she’s never sat down to enjoy her success and now it’s being taken away from her.  Liliana’s solo performance had some issues, but for the most part, it was well-executed. It’s just a shame that with some more practice, it could have been perfect.  Brynn’s solo went down a treat with everyone. You could tell she knew what she was doing and that relieved Ashlee.  In the group competition, the Minis came in first place and scooped awards. The moms were not surprised that the Junior Elites had to settle for second place because Abby did not work with them. As you can probably expect, the mothers stormed off.  What did you think of the episode? Hit the comments!

Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 6 Recap: Kendyl and Lynn Flay vs. Everyone!

Abby Lee Miller made her return on  Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 6 , and you won’t believe this, but she brought the drama with her. Knock us over with a feather, right? Watch Dance Moms Season 6 Episode 6 Online If you  watch Dance Moms online , you know her personal and financial problems – and alleged quitting – have dominated Season 6 so far. Well, as fake as Dance Moms is , there was some real drama with the mini moms last night, as two mainstays lashed out at a newcomer. Abby returned to the fray this week with news that a mother-daughter team with be joining her: Kendyl Flay, 7, and her mother, Lynn. They are, to borrow the episode title, “Abby’s New Favorites.” But the first impression they left on the gang was not exactly their best. Melissa Gisoni and Holly Frazier warn her that it’s Abby’s way or the highway and that if she can’t handle it, well, it’s time to move on. “That’s how this works honey. If you can’t handle it you can’t be here,” Melissa says. “Abby Lee Miller runs the show and you don’t.” “She’ll never let you run the show.” To say they were butting heads would be putting it mildly. Melissa later complains of Lynn, “I don’t know who this mom thinks she is.” “We have to fight for everything that we get here and that’s why we’re such a tight team. If Lynn doesn’t stand up for her kid, she won’t last.” When Lynn refuses to give up her identity to be a part of the team, the tension only increases as the veteran moms size up the n00b. Holly speaks out as well, “Who is she is to judge who we are and judge my character? Lynn has just messed with the wrong mom.” On competition day, Lynn further gets under Melissa’s skin when she on her daughter Mackenzie Ziegler’s previous solo routines. Soon enough, Kerri accuses Lynn of attacking Melissa and calls her a “waste of space,” and things start to go south for her promptly. When Lynn tries to change her tune and asks the veterans to help her learn, Melissa doesn’t think she’ll receive that second chance. “I tried to help you in the beginning and you were rude,” she says; Lynn says Melissa is “crazy” and believes she “owns the ALDC.” Abby does not reveal if the mini team will be back by the end of the episode, but we can tell you the staged, contrived nonsense will.
