After receiving the same distinction in 2011 , Swift earned more Benjamins than anyone else in the industry over the past 12 months, raking in $39,699,575.60 to claim the top spot over Justin Timberlake and Kenny Chesney. To compile its list, Billboard ranked performers “by U.S. earnings, calculated from touring, recorded- music sales, publishing royalties and revenue from digital music and video streaming.” Here’s the great thing, though: Taylor spends her money wisely.
