Denee Baptiste Sits For Intimate Interview With Cleo Speaks In a new episode of Cleo Speaks , due later this month, Beyoncé ‘s choreographer Denee Baptiste sits for a very candid interview. “Known for her stage work with Beyoncé, Denee Baptiste shares her journey as a mother, performer, dancer, motivational speaker and passion for inspiring young dancers to follow their dreams,” a press release states. Baptiste also talks about how “hidden colorism” in the entertainment industry affected her as a kid and as she came up in the dance community. “Growing up it was very hard because I wasn’t typically the ‘pretty girl’,” she says in a sneak peek. “That came up a lot as I was going through the industry. I was very skinny, I was the darkest person sometimes auditioning, I wasn’t wearing weave, I wasn’t wearing a lot of makeup. Jennifer Lopez doesn’t seem to care that Alex Rodriguez may have had multiple women down on their knees in front of him over the past several months. Because the former Major League Baseball player and ongoing alleged cheater got down on one knee himself this past weekend. Indeed, days after Rodriguez proposed to Lopez and announced to the world that “she said yes,” the singer/actress has shared a few photos from the special moment on her Instagram page. It’s almost as if the whole thing was staged and actually NOT a surprise in any way, shape or form. The beautiful images were snapped during sunset while Rodriguez and Lopez were on vacation in the Bahamas. The famous couple began dating on February 3, 2017 and have legitimately seemed very much in love ever since. She complimented Rodriguez on his sexual prowess and penis size and said their affair ended in May of 2017, about three months after he started to give it to J-Lo. “He told me he loved me, and he’s loved me for a long time,” she told the Enquirer. None of these rumors appear to have dampened Rodriguez’s mood, though. Not when, to use his own words, he just locked down one of the world’s most breathtaking human beings. Rodriguez went ahead and opened up about their engagement in his Instagram story on Tuesday. “There aren’t many words to share with you, only feelings. Gratitude. Excitement. And just … joy,” he wrote alongside a photo from the proposal in which he’s kissing Lopez’s forehead. Tanya is hosting the party and planned a mix of culture with the typical bachelorette stuff so this is going to be interesting. NeNe comes through and acts weird the entire time. She’s basically taking her drama with Gregg out on everyone. But things get really amusing when the Japanese stripper comes through. He doesn’t speak English but it’s an interesting experience as he dances in a g-string and socks, and is generally very ironically reserved. He even bows after finishing his dance. This type of stripper culture is obviously super far off from what these ATLiens are used to, but they made due, and definitely cracked jokes. Once the stripper leaves, Tanya introduces some games. The first game was where they’re supposed to dress in the most outlandish Harajuku-inspired looks they can, but they don’t like Tanya’s game so they shift to more traditionally raunchy bachelorette stuff. Then they take the party out on the town and have a blast. The next day, NeNe gets a chance to speak to Gregg on the phone and tells him she didn’t have a good time on the trip because of what’s going on between them. She’s exhausted nurturing him all the time and not having anyone to lift her up. Plus she doesn’t like who Gregg has become with cancer. Cynthia comes to check on her so she cuts the conversation with Gregg short, but this is the moment she finally gets to break down. She comes to tears as she explains to Cynthia that she’s tired of being strong all the time and that she sometimes needs to be vulnerable. Cynthia is all ears and very supportive like a good girlfriend should be. The next day, they hit the town for a samurai lesson. That turns out to be a clumsy, but fun experience. Then we find Eva and NeNe kicking it later on and the next thing you know NeNe gets flowers and a card. It’s from Gregg and he’s offering a deep apology. He apologizes for the pain he inflicted on her, tells her he loves her and asks her to let him back into her heart. NeNe is crying so hard she can barely stand it but it seems like it’s happy tears. Finally, Eva brings the group together for a final dinner in Tokyo. They discuss their highs, lows, hopes, dreams, and plans. They’re actually supportive of each other and there’s actually no drama or cattiness. Then comes the moment where Kandi surprises everyone by telling Porsha that she feels crappy about some of the things she said about Dennis because she experienced that behavior from people with Todd, and Todd turned out to be amazing. So she understands how Porsha feels and apologizes for her behavior with regard to that. Porsha accepts her apology and is committed to moving forward and having better communication between them with hopes that they can once be cool again like they were. They hug it out just in time to head back to Atlanta! Now, it’s come out that the FBI is looking into mail sent to the studios where Empire is filmed to gather more intel. TMZ reports : Sources on set tell us a private security company was hired by the show and met with FBI agents to establish a protocol for inspecting all incoming mail. We’re told the team wears gloves so the evidence in question is not contaminated. The security team has 2 functions … to flag threatening, incoming mail and alert the FBI, and to possibly link new items to the letter Jussie already received, containing homophobic and racists epithets along with an image of a noose. Our sources say the security team has already flagged “hate mail,” but we’re told that it’s nothing new. The show has been targeted by racists and homophobes in the past, but now everyone is on high alert and the FBI is screening all of it. Shiggy made the shocking announcement on his Instagram page. He posted a message saying, “Stop asking me to dance… I’M DONE”. As expected, no one in his comments really took him seriously. Many of his celebrity fans laughed off his plea. One follower said, “Nah bro, you gotta dance! At least do it for the kids”, to which Shiggy replied, “Nah, I’m done for real. Shit not fun no more. You could see it in my eyes.” For what it’s worth, Shiggy has been looking miserable with the on demand dancing for a while now. According to TMZ , the Tennessee spitter has filed a lawsuit against Epic Games, the company behind Fortnite , saying they stole his “Shoot” dance. The popular leg and hand-chopping move was featured in BlocBoy’s music video for “Shoot,” and Drake made it even more popular when he performed it at parties and in his “Look Alive” music video with BlocBoy. Fortnite has an identical dance that players can acquire called the “Hype” dance. BlocBoy is calling BS, saying Fortnite didn’t get permission to use a dance he created in their video game. Granted, BlocBoy never copyrighted the dance when Fortnite used it, but he says he’s in the process of getting that done. He’s being repped by Sandy Lal and David L. Hecht , who’s repping other artists and dancers accusing Fortnite of theft , including Alfonso Ribeiro . Ribeiro, who’s forever treasured as Carlton from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, filed his lawsuit against Fortnite back in December 2018. He accuses the game of stealing his “Carlton dance” for use in the game. Backpack Kid , who’s behind “The Floss” dance, and 2 Milly , who ushered in the Milly Rock, are also coming for Fortnite ‘s coins. Smh, they better stop playing with these dancers.
