Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones: Starring in The Sex Factor?

Forget The X Factor . Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones are reportedly engaged in The Sex Factor! A source close to this Fox competition tells Heat that the judge and the host were actually told to get close earlier this summer, before Cheryl Cole was fired from the program and Scherzinger moved from co-host to panelist. ” X Factor executives encouraged Nicole and Steve to build their chemistry, and get to know each other better over drinks,” the insider claims . “But since then, things have moved on.” So why haven’t Scherzinger – who split from Lewis Hamilton a few weeks ago, following an up-and-down four years – and Jones gone public? A certain British producer, the mole says: “They can’t go public until they get the okay from Simon.” And we all know how difficult it can be to receive words of encouragement from Simon Cowell.

‘Dancing With The Stars’: David Arquette Gets Cut

Justin Bieber performs his Christmas collabo with Boyz II Men on results show. By Kara Warner Kym Johnson and David Arquette Photo: ABC The field of competing couples on the 13th season of “Dancing With The Stars” was trimmed down to five Tuesday night after David Arquette and partner Kym Johnson were eliminated from the show. Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus, who were the other couple in the bottom two, got to keep their dancing shoes for another go next week. “This has to be a mistake!” Arquette joked when his name was called. “This is my show! I love all the people I got to know and dance with. This whole production is top-notch, and thank you to all the fans!” “I’m going to take a lot away from this experience,” Arquette said in his goodbye video. ” ‘DWTS’ was an experience of a lifetime. You learn things about yourself you never thought possible.” The latest elimination show was as packed with headlining performers as ever. Teen king Justin Bieber kicked off the show with a lively performance of his hit “Never Say Never” and later returned to the dance floor with Boyz II Men to perform their Christmas collaboration “Fa La La” from his just-released holiday album, Under the Mistletoe. Bieber and the Boyz weren’t the only artists to take the “DWTS” stage Tuesday night: Rising star Christina Perri sang “Arms,” while 17-year-old ballerina and cancer survivor Victoria-Rose Viren performed a moving duet in front of Perri. Other fun performances included the encore dance of the night, the honors for which went to Team Paso Doble (Ricki Lake, Rob Kardashian and Hope Solo), who reprised their “powerful” dance to Evanescence’s “Wake Me Up Inside.” Seasoned pro Derek Hough also performed a fun routine with fellow pro Allison Holker. Heading into the eighth week of competition, Lake and Hough are sitting pretty at the top of the leaderboard, followed closely by fan favorite J.R. Martinez and his partner Karina Smirnoff, “dark horse” Rob Kardashian and partner Cheryl Burke, and Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Were you surprised to see David go? ‘Dancing With The Stars’: Rob Kardashian Steps It Up

Ricki Lake earns top score, but Rob and J.R. Martinez aren’t far behind. By Kelley L. Carter Cheryl Burke and Robert Kardashian Photo: ABC There wasn’t much scary on Monday night’s “Dancing With the Stars.” The reality competition show is down to the last six couples, and nearly everyone stepped up their game on the show’s Halloween show. Everyone dressed the part — some scary, some just plain old fun — and the judges seemed mostly pleased. Once again at the top of of the leaderboard were Ricki Lake and Derek Hough, who earned three 9’s from the judges. The show also had the celebrities doing a group dance the judges also scored, which was added to their individual scores. David Arquette and Kym Johnson Arquette and his partner took on the cha-cha-cha dressed as a magician and a magician’s assistant, and the judges found the dance to be, well, magical. “Lots of tricks and lots of treats. You’ve turned yourself into a dancer here. You need a little bit more rhythm, but overall, well done,” said head judge Len Goodman. 24/30 J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff The war hero has been consistently impressing judges — and voters, apparently — with his dance moves. On Monday night, he took on the tango, and the judges for the most part thought the duo captured the tone of the piece and found the dance to be upbeat, precise and sharp. “Another very solid performance. This timing was so hard and you actually lost it a few times. You know it,” judge Bruno Tonioli said. 25/30 Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus Dressed as a devilish duo, the judges thought their routine was off this week. The big problem was the footwork, they said. “Well we have our good days and we have our not-so-good days. Last week was a good day, this week was not so good. I watched you, and you are having the time of your life, and I give you so much credit for that. But you sort of lost your choreography,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba said. 21/30 Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke The Kardashians took on the tango this week and hoped to make the judges rethink the relative low scores they gave him last week. In the audience to cheer him on was his sister Kourtney, her boyfriend Scott and their son, Mason. (Missing, of course, was his sister Kim Kardashian, who filed for divorce after 72 days of marriage with NBA player Kris Humphries.) As for the performance, the judges thought it was his best dance yet. “I thought you did a terrific job. Your footwork was good; it had the right amount of attack. … You did a terrific job. And this is a gruesome week, because we’ve got the team dance coming,” Goodman said. 25/30 Ricki Lake and Derek Hough The former talk-show hostess danced the paso doble (dressed as Little Red Riding Hood), and the judges said that in spite of her nursing an injury, they loved the shapes and twists that she made. “It was like a blizzard of passion and fear! Another incredible performance,” Tonioli said. 27/30 Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy The athlete danced the samba, and unlike past weeks, the judges thought that she coped well with what they considered to be a difficult dance. They liked the production and thought she danced as if her life depended on it. “There’s a newfound ease with you, and it’s beautiful to see,” Inaba said. 24/30 All the celebrities also danced a group dance — Team Tango and Team Paso Doble — and they got scored by the judges. Team Tango (Grace, Martinez and Arquette) danced to Rihanna’s “Disturbia,” and the judges thought they didn’t do as well when they danced individually as couples, but liked when they danced as a group. 23/30 Team Paso Doble (Lake, Kardashian and Solo) fared much better. They danced to Evanescence’s “Wake Me Up Inside,” and the judges thought it was powerful, moody and dramatic. 26/30 Who had your favorite dance Monday? Let us know in the comments!

Nancy Grace Flops on Dancing With the Stars

Nancy Grace is great at blowing smoke about Amanda Knox or Casey Anthony. She could not catch fire on Dancing With the Stars Monday night, however. Despite wearing a red wig, red eyelashes and a flirty, fringed dress … her jive just didn’t ignite very well at all. “This wasn’t a good dance for you,” judge Len Goodman said, not mincing words as always. “It was a disappointment for me.” She earned 21 points for it, giving her 44 out of 60 for the evening. That has her in last place. Think she’ll be going home tonight? Watch her possibly final routine below: Nancy Grace on Dancing With the Stars (Week 7)

Maksim Chmerkovskiy Calls Out Derek Hough, Won’t Apologize to Dancing With the Stars Judges

Maksim Chmerkovskiy sort of backed off his comments Monday about Dancing With the Stars being “his” show, but is still plenty pissed at the judges. Chmerkovskiy laid into Len Goodman , Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli after what he believed were scathing, personal critiques of his routine with Hope Solo. Lacey Schwimmer and Chaz Bono , who were eliminated Tuesday night, felt similarly and supported Maksim, but Ricki Lake’s partner Derek Hough took the judges’ side. That drew a stinging rebuke from Chmerkovskiy … “Derek Hough has been very supportive of his personal career on the show,” Maksim said in an interview with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America . “With all due respect, if I had Nicole Scherzinger followed by Jennifer Grey followed by Ricki Lake, I probably would not be upset with the judges either.” Maksim wishes he hadn’t said in the heat of the moment that DWTS is “his” show and he is the reason for its success, acknowledging it’s a team effort. But he won’t praise the judges, either. “I had a long conversation with my dad and I don’t regret anything,” he reflected on GMA . “That’s why I think I’m misunderstood in this situation.” “Everyone is waiting for me to bow my head and plead for forgiveness. I have nothing to apologize for. I’m in the business because I love it.” “The one thing I’m not going to embrace is pointing fingers and disrespectful remarks,” he explained. “Why are judges allowed to compare us to animals and point their fingers and then we can’t say our side and show our opinion?” “I can’t really lose with remarks like this.” Whose side are you on?

Ricki Lake Weight Loss Pics: Dancing With the Stars Does a Body Good!

Add Ricki Lake to the list of celebrities who have participated in what has become America’s unofficial celebrity weight loss show: Dancing With the Stars. She may not have lost the 100 pounds boasted by one recent finalist (check out these Kirstie Alley weight loss pics ), but Lake has certainly slimmed down. You can see difference from the pre-season promo pic to the present: Ricki Lake has lost 20 pounds of weight on DWTS . Lake is clearly enjoying her thinner frame, and looking healthy and wonderful while doing it. Ricki’s also maintaining a healthy attitude towards the process. “I don’t know. I didn’t weigh myself at the beginning. I’m definitely a size six now. I’ll probably be a size four by the end of it,” she told the Huffington Post . “It’s come to the point where it doesn’t matter to me. I no longer wear Spanx. I don’t have lumps where I used to. I will weigh myself at the end.” “I really like where my body is going. My waist has never been smaller.” Lake also claimed to not be a “natural dancer,” but she’s just being modest. Aside from JR Martinez , it doesn’t appear anyone can stop her this season.
