Jake Pavelka Kicked Off Dancing with the Stars

After a mediocre samba and poor finish in the group swing marathon, you knew Jake Pavelka was running on fumes. Last night, he sputtered out. Kicked off Dancing with the Stars after a six-week run, he now knows how those aspiring wives who went home each week without a rose felt like. Oh, wait, he was kicked off The Bachelorette too. Never mind. “This is, I think, the best season of Dancing With [the] Stars I’ve seen,” Jake Pavelka said of his experience. “I was so honored to be here.” “I enjoyed every second. I want to thank Texas, I want to thank all the Mavericks fans, Canada, all the tweets, Facebook … thank you for keeping me here for six episodes. I can’t even put it into words how much I enjoyed this.” Where, oh where, will Jake resurface on reality TV next? To partner Chelsie Hightower, who kinda resembles another certain petite blond Jake loves, he said: “You’re one of my best friends. I have loved every second of this. I love you. Thank you for being so great to my beautiful fianc

Kristin Cavallari: What Drug Problem?

In the first episode of the Hills’ maybe-final season, Audrina Patridge, Stephanie Pratt and Lo Bosworth confronted Kristin Cavallari about too much partying. We’ll have a recap of all that action for you a little later, but for now Kristin tells E! she has no such problem, and that the accusations came out of nowhere. “I went out in Miami and for Super Bowl and had a good time,” Cavallari said. “I’m allowed to do that. But the fact that these girls accuse me of doing drugs, which, by the way, when they bring it up, it’s so out of left field.” She thought they were kidding: “I mean, I think I started laughing … For them to even accuse me of that kind of thing is so crazy, but it is what it is.” Indeed it is . Kristin laughs off her friends’ concerns . Kristin Cavallari may be thinking about giving it another romantic go with Brody Jenner if the producers tell her to circumstances are right but right now the show’s resident bad girl is absolutely, positively single. “I’m not dating anyone!” The Hills starlet tells us. “It’s hard to meet people in L.A., and if I get serious with someone, I don’t want to put them on the show.” Fair enough, so what about all those reports of her spending time with Paris Hilton and Lauren Conrad’s ex-boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt, at Coachella recently? “I’ve known Doug since I was 15 years old,” Cavallari laughed. “Yeah, I saw him there, but not like that. I’m not going to live my life off of stupid celebrity gossip … We’ve been friends for almost 10 years.” Unneeded tabloid attention aside, Cavallari doesn’t regret returning to The Hills: “I’ve had such a great time and it’s been great on so many levels.” In other Cavallari news, she says Dancing With the Stars has come calling. “A few different seasons … I don’t think I could do it. I have a serious fear of public speaking, let along dancing in front of all those people. I’d be a nervous wreck.” Now, strutting around in a bikini, that’s a different ballgame.

Long hours. Intense pressure. No pants. Jake Pavelka can endure that. Handling the “popularity contest” that is Dancing with the Stars? He’s got issues there. “I think dancing-wise, I’ve been doing OK,” The Bachelor star said. “The thing I wasn’t really prepared for was this is a little bit of a popularity contest!” “I’ve been focusing 150 percent of my energy on learning dancing and neglecting the 25 million people who don’t know they have to vote to keep you on.” Only 150 percent, Jake? Might wanna kick it up to 175, dog. “Look at the competition,” he says , “and [Chad] Ochocinco has 800,000 people on his twitter! I have 16,000. By the way, my twitter is @JakePavelka1.” Yeah . Solid plug, J. He does raise a valid point, though many fans do vote for who they like (hence, Kate Gosselin lasted five weeks). Still, Jake feels he’s up against it. “It seems like everyone else is established in Hollywood, or they’ve walked on the moon, or run touchdowns for the Bengals. Everybody has a huge personality.” Well, the show is Dancing with the Stars , man. It’s not Dancing with Peeps From Other Reality Shows and Celebrity Gossip Tabloids So We Can Boost Ratings . The future Mr. Vienna Girardi , who was “shocked” he landed in the bottom two at one point, has stayed out of it the past two weeks as the field has narrowed. Think he can win? Do you want him too? Some of the highlights from April 17-23 include … Brooke Mueller reportedly left Charlie Sheen, who is reportedly shacking up with Angelina Tracy , who is reportedly an escort. Reportedly. Blair Robinson made like Kayden Nguyen and accused of Steven Seagal of sexual misconduct … as well as the lamest pickup lines ever. Michael Lohan had L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies enter Lindsay Lohan’s home to remove Ali Lohan . He failed, but vows to continue his crusade to get credit card debt-riddled, possible Rolex thief Lindsay into rehab. Michael Lohan: Always stirring the pot fighting for his daughter. Crystal Bowersox admitted she almost quit American Idol . She went on to give the performance of the year days later. Tim Urban is out. Dancing with the Stars bid farewell to Kate Gosselin at last. The crew? Relieved. Will the show say hello to Rachel Uchitel next season? Tiger Woods and Jesse James mistresses may star in Celebrity Cheaters . That may displace Sarah Palin’s Alaska as the all-time TV low. Seth Aaron Henderson won the coveted Project Runway title. Ashley Dupre, Playboy cover girl, talked exclusively with THG . Kate Gosselin shed tears over her Dancing departure. Many did not . Larry King’s divorce from Shawn Southwick is on hold … for now. Her alleged lover, Hector Penate , is telling the whole world about that. Sandra Bullock supposedly has a master plan to divorce Jesse James. Kate Gosselin got the boot from Dancing With the Stars Tuesday night. The remaining dancers and cast collectively thought: It’s about time. The mother of eight caused drama before the show even premiered in March, acting like a diva during rehearsals and making crazy demands on set. Crazy demands like crew members not being allowed to look at her. Seriously. So you can imagine the rejuvenated vibe now that she’s finally gone. “Everyone couldn’t be more relieved,” a source says … but just wait ’til they have to deal with Rachel Uchitel . That’ll pose a whole new set of issues.
