Evan Lysacek: Rehearsal Before Rocking the Ballroom

On Monday night, the Dancing with the Stars Season 10 had its premier and eleven celebrities competed. One of them was Even Lysacek, a 24-year-old champion in figure skating. Evan is hoping to gain a mirror ball trophy to his collection of awards. Right after winning a gold medal at the Vancouver Olympics, the champion still wanted to compete in a different field and now, he’s one of the celebrity contestants in Dancing with the Stars. Evan is paired with Anna Trebunskaya. They have started their rehearsals right after he came back from Vancouver. First week was the most tiring because he just arrived from the Olympics. He was disappointed and discourage for he have never thought that dancing is far more different from skating. There were some areas where they have to develop and improve a lot. First would be the posture because skating and dancing have different postures. In dancing, you always stand and lean back whereas in skating you always lean forward over the ball of your foot. In skating, you only need to rotate one way; however, in dancing it is different, you can go in any direction. There were instances when Anna holds Evan’s head while they were dancing, because as a skater, Evan would naturally turn in the opposite direction. Dancing with the Stars Recap: Nicole, Evan & Erin Shine

Dancing with the Stars kicked off its 10th iteration last night with its best cast in several seasons. The season premiere offered some standouts and some bombs. Eliminations aren’t until next week, which is fortunate for Aiden Turner, who would likely be sent home as Kate Gosselin and Buzz Aldrin will get sympathy votes. As expected (by THG, anyway), Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough led the pack. She’s kind of a dancer for a living, so this was not exactly a stunner. Same goes for Evan Lysacek, who may not be a dancer, but makes a career out of being agile. Erin Andrews and Pam Anderson? Pleasant surprises! Here’s a tiered breakdown of last night’s Dancing with the Star s scores … Early favorites Nicole Scherzinger & Derek Hough – Viennese Waltz. Score: 25 (9,7,9). A Makeover in Dancing with the Stars

When TV audiences tune in to watch the 10th season premier of Dancing with the Stars, they will see a new co-host in action, as well as the contestants. Brooke Burke will be co-hosting along with Tom Bergeron. She is the new face in Dancing with the Stars who has replaced Samantha Harris. A makeover was done in the Dancing during its hiatus as stated by producer Conrad Green to PEOPLE. Instead of hiding the contestants away from the audience during the show, they brought the backstage room to the front of the stage so that they will be with the audience. The so-called “red room” is now enclosed by glass wall and is now inside of the ballroom. Instead of watching on a monitor, there will be a balcony and a railing that would be placed where the cast could stand and watch the live performances. Now, this is where Burke will have her interview with the contestants after their performance and also where they would receive the scores from the judges. Another new that would be featured in this season is the theme “night”. Dances from famous movies or dances to iconic music from films will also be featured. In addition, there will be a night featuring songs by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. This season, the eleven couples will make the show more interesting and a television that people have to watch. Everyone has great talent and great potential. All eleven couples have had only three weeks of training and they will perform on tonight’s premier and later after a week. Scores will be taken from the judges and the fan votes. Tuesday, March 29, the first pair from this season will be eliminated. Performance shows will air on Monday nights, and results will be air on Tuesday nights for the remainder of the season. If you don’t know who Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney are, we’re not surprised. But maybe you should, because they may just have the funniest baby ever. The stars of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, who are married, are expecting a new addition to “the gang” – their first child in August, the couple’s rep says. “Rob and I are so excited it’s stupid,” Olson said in a statement. “The last few years have been pretty amazing for us and just when we thought things couldn’t get any better, the greatest little thing in the world happened!” “We’re totally beside ourselves.” So are we, at the possibility of the ridiculous It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia quotes that could result from this.
