Source: Branimir76 / Getty Man Chokes His Teen Daughter Over Last Slice Of Pizza According to the Springfield News-Sun , an Arizona man is being accused of choking his 16-year-old daughter as they argued about a slice of pizza . Chipasha Luchembe, 41, faces nine counts of child abuse, four counts of aggravated assault police said they found a teenage girl with a bruised, swollen face, bruises to her abdomen and scratch marks on her neck. According to the police report, Luchembe said he “became upset” because he told his daughter to save him a slice of pizza. After he didn’t get his pizza, the girl said Luchembe splashed water in her face, slapped her “a couple of times” and put his hands on her neck. Luchembe allegedly pushed his daughter to the ground, punched her in the stomach, pulled her hair, spat on her and put her head in the sink. Luchembe also allegedly punched the girl in the face. The report adds that Luchembe “choked her to the point of where she passed out and urinated on herself.”
Back in June, Jim Bob Duggar’s beloved mother, Mary Duggar, passed away at the age of 78. Due to her advanced age, it was initially assumed that Mary had died of natural causes. But that later proved not to be the case. Fans were shocked to learn that Mary had drowned under mysterious circumstances. While several members of the Duggar family paid tribute to Mary in heartfelt social media posts, none of them offered any details with regard to the circumstances under which she drowned. And that’s certainly their right. But considering the family’s close relationship with fans, it’s not surprising that overzealous Duggar obsessives were quick to accuse Jim Bob and company of dodging questions about Mary’s death . Now, in an exclusive interview, a source close to the family tells The Hollywood Gossip that the Duggars may have had good reason to keep the details of Mary’s passing under wraps. Earlier this week, the insider — a former employee of the Duggars who developed close friendships with several members of the family — informed us that in recent months, Josiah Duggar has been clashing with Jim Bob like never before. Asked about the exact nature of their conflict, the source informed us that Mary was a confidant to both men — and their secrets may have been buried alongside her. “I think the only one who knew took it to her grave when she drowned,” said the tipster. “I still have my doubts on that death theory,” he added turning his attention to Mary’s drowning. “Her daughter is a dollar chasing piece of work who Jim Bob keeps at arm’s length.” He was referring to Deanna Jordan, Jim Bob’s sister and only sibling. Deanna and Jim Bob have been never been particularly close, and they appear to have cut ties entirely in the weeks since Mary’s passing. We have no way of knowing why that might be, but since Deanna was Mary’s primary caretaker in her final years, fans have speculated that Jim Bob feels her negligence was the true cause of his mother’s passing. Citing the version of events that the Duggars have shared with close family and friends, our source told us: “They said she tripped and fell in the pool and drowned, and her daughter found her.” However, the insider has doubts about that claim. Deanna was the only person present when her mother’s body was found, and the informant told us she doesn’t have the greatest reputation in terms of honesty and transparency. “Never liked gold diggers or people that have to be the center of attraction,” he said, dismissing Deanna as a money-hungry social climber. The source added that Deanna no longer sees Jim Bob as her path to fame and fortune, however. Instead, she now believes her daughter, Amy Duggar, will be the one to put her on the path toward Easy Street. “Her daughter Amy is a chip of the old block,” the source said. He added that Amy briefly attempted to make it as a country singer, but quickly abandoned those plans: “Went to Nashville and a friend of mine up there said she couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket,” he told us. “Just trying to live off the Duggàr name.” Of course, even if it’s true that Mary tripped and fell into a pool while under her daughter’s care, that doesn’t necessarily mean that Deanna is at fault. Even in her later years, Mary was fully mobile and largely self-reliant, and she could have drowned after being left unattended for only a few minutes. Still, it’s not hard to see how her passing may have been the final straw for Jim Bob. He and his sister have been at odds for quite some time, and their relationship became particularly strained in the years since Deanna’s divorce . Buzz Feed is reporting that Clauvino da Silva dressed up as his 19 year old daughter in an effort to free himself from the big house. In what is probably the most brazen but ingenious plan of any prisoner of this generation, Silva went to great lengths to ensure his costume was up to snuff. According to Rio de Janeiro’s state secretary of prison administration he not only donned a wig and glasses but also a silicone mask. Yes silicone. The plot was framed around his daughter’s visit where he intended to switch places with her and walk out of the correctional facility. His plan fell apart though when guards noticed the teen was behaving nervously. He was promptly put in a holding room where authorities questioned him and got him to confess. Silva is reportedly a member of the Red Command; a notorious and powerful crime syndicate in Brazil. He now faces disciplinary sanctions that will be added to his current 73-year sentence for drug trafficking . Video of the get up below. Bassett turns on the charm as Carol, one third of a trio of “empty nesters,” who find themselves on a mission to reconnect with their sons after they forget to call them on Mother’s Day. The journey, in turn, becomes a mission to self-discovery. The chance to go a different way. My friends tell me I’m funny.” Basset chose to work Netflix, not because she needed an opportunity of course, but because they tell everyday stories when Hollywood can be so limited. “Our director and producer, they’ve been trying to get this done for 10 years. What stories are being told on the big screen goes through cycles. ‘We’re not doing biographies right now, or made for television movies right now. It’s great to have a place like Netflix where there’s such an array and something for everyone. We shot in New York City. It’s a love letter to the city. It was a wonderful experience.” Basset revealed she ultimately could relate to her character, which also influenced her decision to join the cast. “It had a comedic tone but was based in reality and I could relate being a mother. I relate being a girlfriend. I relate being a wife. I could relate on so many levels,” she said. “I thought this is something we don’t generally see but this is so real — the whole empty nest thing and who are you after the husband is gone and the children are gone. Depression is real after that for a lot of women. In families, sometimes the children are holding it together and everyone is focused on them. They’re fighting for their autonomy, and go off to college, who are you?” Bassett’s character and her Black son add some much-needed melanin to the Otherhood screen, which is important to Bassett who constantly reaffirms her children that they’re skin is beautiful. “It’s very important because the power of imagery and the history of this country and we know the scales have not been evenly placed and it’s very important, having a son and a daughter, that they understand who they are. That they are comfortable in their in skin that they’re skin is beautiful. For any woman, whatever skin you live in is beautiful but especially because it’s a life they have to live where they may not get a lot of affirmation in different rooms that they enter. They have to go in with confidence and come out with confidence. I just gave my daughter, I was leaving early this morning, a paper. I said ‘This is a little present for you because this is who you are little queen.’ It was an image of Nefertiti. So she should could always be proud of who she is and know that she is beautiful.” As for keeping herself grounded and motivated, Bassett offered the advice she gives her son, “When he goes off to the summer camp where he is a counselor at an autistic camp there are some days it’s a challenge. But that’s what it’s about, rising to the challenge and I tell him, ‘Yeah it’s tough, but find the good and praise it. It’s about your attitude and how you look t the situation. And of course, taking into consideration the popularity and fame of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, it worked. But it didn’t take all 5 of the sisters to give a simple shout out on social media, instead, Kim Kardashian was able to revive the company all on her own. On Thursday, August 1, Kim took to Instagram to post a photo of herself rocking one of Rob’s signature tees, which also happens to be the same shirt Kylie Jenner posed in when the brand launched back in July. In the caption of the photo, Kim decided to keep it short and sweet, writing, “Halfway-Dead.com.” Naturally, the 38-year-old’s post received all the love. Get excited! The Season 10 premiere date for Alaskan Bush People is just days away! The looming premiere made this week a perfect time for Bear Brown to make a very exciting announcement. He has a gorgeous model girlfriend, and he’s excited to introduce her to the world. 31-year-old Bear Brown spoke to People about his girlfriend, Raiven Adams. “We met at my brother Noah’s wedding last year,” Bear reveals. Noah married his now wife, Rhain Alisha, in a small and beautiful ceremony last year. “Raiven was helping her mom, Kassy Michelle,” he shares. “Who was the photographer.” Bear continues: “Her mom has always had a passion for photography.” “And,” he adds. “Raiven helps her out with weddings and other photo shoots from time to time.” It sounds like, when the two of them met, sparks just flew. “We just agreed we both felt a connection,” Bear characterizes.
