Tsiuri Kvaratskhelia keeps Joni Bakaradze’s body entombed in a wooden coffin beneath the family home in Georgia, eastern Europe. But despite having died in 1995, the 22-year-old has remained almost perfectly mummified, thanks to his mother’s constant love and attention. And every year on his birthday she has even given him a change of clothes – until four years ago when decay finally made the feat impossible. ‘He wanted his kid to see him that way,’ she explained. ‘I believe from that point on the kid started to love his father.’ There is also a little viewing window in the basement so family, friends and passers by can see how he’s getting on. Mrs Kvaratskhelia has learned more than a few tricks to keep her son presentable. It gets weirder. ‘One night I had a dream when a voice told me to treat Joni by rubbing alcohol so from then on I’ve being using wet sheets dipped in alcohol to preserve the body,’ she said. ‘You must not leave the body without the sheets overnight as the skin will turn black as charcoal.’ She added: ‘For 10 years I’ve been changing his clothes on his birthday. Only the past four years I was unable to do so. ‘He was a good man, a good husband, not the way he is now.’ But now Joni, whose cause of death remains unknown, is finally beginning to decompose since illness prevented Mrs Kvaratskhelia from giving him the daily care he needs. ‘I was sick lately and could not tend to his body,’ she said. ‘That had an effect on him. ‘My son is handsome. Wow. She lost her life over a prank. Woman Killed in Prank Gone Wrong Did he have to react that harshly? According to Mail Online A young woman was killed by a friend on Friday night in a prank gone horribly wrong. Premila Lal, 18, was allegedly hiding in a closet and jumped out around 8pm when she startled Nerrek Daniel Galley, 21, who reportedly shot her in a Longmont, Colorado home. A neighbor, who asked to remain unidentified, said she and her husband called the police after they heard yelling and screaming. She told The Times-Call that ‘three or four’ individuals got into a car and sped away, leaving the front door open. Galley and two of Lal’s male relatives, ages 12 and 15, loaded her into her own vehicle and took her to Longmont United Hospital, The Denver Post reprorts. The neighbor woman also told The Times-Call said her husband walked over there and saw blood and an abandoned mobile phone on the stairway. He came and got her, and together called 911. Longmont police were called at 8:02pm regarding the shooting. Just two minutes later, officers were called to the house regarding an ‘unknown problem.’ Lal died at approximately 9pm, Longmont police Cmdr. Jeff Satur confirmed. In his report, Owens said Longmont police are requesting a high bond for Galley, because he has ‘no ties to the community with a permanent residence.’ Longmont police are working with the Boulder County District Attorney’s office to determine whether Galley will be charged in relation to Lal’s death. Lal was a high school track star and graduate of Niwot High School, CBS Denver reports. Her parents are heartbroken over the loss of their daughter. ‘My life ended so suddenly and I think it’s going to take a few more days for us to really, you know, comprehend she’s gone,’ Praveen Lal said. Running for Senate in Wyoming, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney made this stance evident yesterday in order to shoot down chatter that – due to the open sexuality of her sister, Mary – she was a gay marriage advocate. “I am strongly pro-life and I am not pro-gay marriage,” she said in a statement. “I believe the issue of marriage must be decided by the states, and by the people in the states, not by judges and not even by legislators, but by the people themselves.” In 2009, Dick Cheney surprised many he came out as a gay marriage supporter. Camela bravely decided to continue the wedding in tribute to her much-loved father, which is what she believes he would have wanted. The 160-guest reception and evening party continued – but Camela never heard her proud dad’s wedding speech. One dead daddy don’t stop no wedding reception. She revealed that the hardest point was when she had to open up her father’s wedding card the very next day. “To be honest opening the card was the hardest part,” she said. “I opened it the next day and he had given us some money towards our honeymoon. “We were thinking of going to Mexico but we had to cancel it. “Now I can’t put my wedding cards up because I have so many sympathy cards. “For weeks after I felt like I didn’t want to celebrate. Amanda Bynes’ team of doctors is recommending long-term, in-patient treatment to combat the actress’ severe mental illness, a new report states. Doctors at UCLA Medical Center will submit a recommendation to the judge overseeing her mother Lynn‘s bid to gain conservatorship of her daughter. In it, they will push for long-term hospitalization of the former child star. Amanda Bynes is being treated for a serious mental health disorder and is under temporary conservatorship of her mother until at least September 30. At that date, a hearing will be held to determine her status. After months of increasingly erratic behavior, Amanda was involuntarily hospitalized after setting fire to a stranger’s driveway in Thousand Oaks, Calif. Lynn had Amanda moved from a county facility in Ventura County to the renowned psychiatric unit at UCLA after being granted temporary conservatorship. Doctors have “been observing Amanda, and there has been some improvement,” but her diagnosis is complex, and medication has yet to rectify the issue. Treating such severe mental illness is, in many ways, uncharted territory, and is extremely difficult at the absolute least. If nothing else, it takes time. “She has her good days and bad days, and the goal is obviously to get her therapeutic and stable before being released,” a source says of the actress. Therefore, her treatment team, along with her mother “believes Amanda would benefit from prolonged treatment at UCLA, for at least the rest of the year.” Even though Amanda hasn’t been formally diagnosed with schizophrenia, “she is being treated for it. There is such a negative stigma with schizophrenia.” “Given time and the correct treatment and medicine, Amanda could and should absolutely be able to live with it and be a productive member of society.” “In fact, she wouldn’t likely suffer symptoms of it if she stays on her medication.” Here’s hoping, whatever decision is reached, that she continues to improve and finds her footing.
